The room was very hot, no air in our room, maple bugs in our room, bar closes at 8 which is disappointing. All staff that were working were very nice. Bunch of staff were locked out 386 days when we asked reception they said they choice to be there. We were told aboutvit day of our stay. We talked to the workers and one has been there 20 years they want to lower ther pay. after new owners.

Location is very good and AIr Conditioning is great Staff are helpful but charging such a heavy damage deposit to an 82 year old is ridiculous. I know I get it back but it is out of line with the rest of industry. Poor advertising, people remember negatives.

The hotel is in an OK part of town, but it's not 'lovely'. This isn't in the hotel's control, and I'm not complaining ...just observing. The hotel is fine ...the area it's in ...'meh'

Our check in was slow and dissorganized. Beds were uncomfortable, but rooms were very clean. Stay was just average, didnt get a chance to try the pool but area looked very clean and well kept.

Getting a bit later check out was no problem. No extra charge. Only complaint was A/C not working that great. It could also use a little update in the building and rooms.

We stayed in a pet friendly room and the carpets were wet upon arrival. It felt gross to walk around in socks or bare feet. When I told the staff and asked if there would be a discount on the room, they gave me a small gift bag with a bag of chips and a pepsi. Laughable! I almost wish they did nothing instead of handing me a dollar worth of junk food. Otherwise, the kids liked the pool. The hotel is run down in areas, looking pretty old and needing renovation.

We would have not crossed the picket line had we known of lock out! We had planned to stay another night but because of lockout we didn’t. Staff shortages, were unfortunate as things were closed. We loved the pool!

There was nothing wrong with the hotel. However we were upset to arrive and find that there was a picket line and the workers were locked out. Most definitely would have booked elsewhere had we been aware.

It’s very clean customer service is excellent. The food in the restaurant is absolutely great and the prices are very reasonable. It as great amenities like pool hot tub and fitness room. Definitely with book at this hotel. Thank yiu again to the staff for making our stay very comfortable.

The room had temperature control that didn’t work, we put the temperature up high but the room was still very cold during the night. The washroom’s sink tab water smelled bad and when using it to wash our mouth after brushing teeth it tasted so bitter - I assume the tab hasn’t been cleaned fully. The hotel made a mistake on charging me extra fee for weird reason I couldn’t even understand - I had to talk to customer service of hotel.com and manager in this hotel multiple times while they put aside each others responsibilities. I complained to hotel and could get the money for extra fee back eventually but because of that it drained a lot of energy from me. Never coming back here.

It was disappointing that the hotel is being picketed. Several venues within the hotel are not open, or open with reduced hours. We found our room very clean, and the staff most accommodating and friendly, especially in the restaurant.

We were contacted by the hotel the day of check in to let us know we would have to cross a picket line to enter. It was too late to be able to cancel the reservation without penalty and we were very upset about it. The hotel does not have a sign at the entrance (looks like it was ripped off) so it was hard to find the door. In our first room the heat was broken so they moved is to a different room that smelled very musty and had a huge wet patch on the floor near the window. We informed the front desk and they said they would send maintenance to check it out but it was still soaking when we checked out. Our key cards stopped working three times and there was no hot water for showers. The staff were all very pleasant but they are sort of working with an impossible building. Dining staff were very lovely too.

We did not know there was people picketing the property or we would not have booked here. The hotel needs maintenance done throughout and our bathroom floor needed new flooring. Also, the water pressure in the shower was poor.
