I was very much disappointed. During my previous stays the hotel was run by Choice Hotels. This is no longer the case and seems to be a private company now. Attention to details were not there like they used to be. 1) Had a one cup coffee pot in the room. Was supplied with a four cup packet of coffee. I asked at the front desk if I could get one cup packets. All they had were the four cup packets and was told to run them through the brewing process several times. I tried that but after the first brew the grounds were soaked and water would not run through them. Instead the hot steaming water shot out of the brewer all over the place including on me. Very unsafe. 2) The only functional ice machine that could be found was on the first floor down the hall from the lobby. The one near my room was marked "out of order". It was ridiculous to have to take a five minute walk carrying a very small ice bucket. It wasn't worth the walk. 3) One of the things that I always enjoyed when staying here in the past was the breakfast buffet. It was so good that locals would also come in to enjoy the buffet. This trip, no buffet and not many customers. These things alone show me how much less this hotel caters to it's customers and I know the next time I stay in the Dells area I will be staying somewhere else.

They had a wedding booked on Sunday night. Night two of our stay. Not only could we not access the pool without walking all the way around the outside of the hotel, unless we wanted to walk right thru the wedding, we could hear the music and partying all night long. The front desk staff was very rude on two occasions. I will never book another stay here again. We had found a couple coupons locally to use for breakfast there and they no longer accepted them because they are under new owners. None of this was communicated before hand. Had I known there was a wedding I wouldn’t have booked it for my family to stay in. I have 3 young children who were up extremely late due to the noise

The listing for this property probably mentioned that no maid service is provided, but I obviously missed it. Having COPD and paying for a three night stay just didn't work for us, so we left after two nights. The room was fine the first day but became very damp and musty, which affected my breathing. Lesson learned and I will know to check this in the future.

Our toilet flooded all over the floor everytime you flushed it. Bed were ok but woke up sore. The pools were very cloudy water like they need to be cleaned.

We loved the indoor/outdoor waterpark for the kids. The hotel in itself is a bit outdated but honestly I don't care about that. We had plenty of room in our family suite for 5. Would stay again!

This property is very unique because it does have a small water “park” for very small children and a couple of pools. Our son is 19 months and was able to walk in all the fun water areas 💕. We did have to move rooms because of a smoke smell in our room even though it’s a no smoking policy. They upgraded us for the trouble and we were very happy for it. It is a little out dated and well loved hotel but the price reflects that so it is all good. Manager did tell us they will be starting renovations from top to bottom in the fall and will be done by summer of next year. So this review might not help by next summer. All in all it was a great vacation and it had a lot to do with this location. It is a very short walk to buffalo phils restaurant, trampoline and fun park (forgot the name) and the Wisconsin dells outlet mall. Great location. And the hotel itself isn’t gigantic like wilderness or other such resorts around the area which is nice for those who don’t want to deal with all the walking within your own hotel.

Family had a blast. Beds great! Big room towels! Only downers were the hot tubs. One broken. The other nice and hot but the jets are weak. And the bathroom is real small. But we werent in our rooms much for it to make a huge difference

The place was very nice and the staff was friendly. Just a few things that was not so good: The indoor pool had a powerful chlorine smell that was too much to stay in the room, the outdoor hot tub jets did not work, the mattresses were very firm and uncomfortable (woke up with a sore back), and the place was a bit out dated.

Kids loved the pool, little water park, and hot tub! Great location, quiet, and we had our own little wing of the hotel. We’ve stayed here twice so far. Each time was better than the last! We will be back!

Great beds, rooms were clean and didn’t hear noise from the hall or other rooms. Have stayed here before and will again. Enjoy the patio for a breath of fresh air. Courtyard and outdoor pools were great!

The smell in the room upon entry was horrible. A mixture of stale cigarettes and moldiness. There was a splatter of either blood or ketchup on the wall near one of the beds. And the most disturbing is that one bed the sheets were not clean. There was smashed (I hope food) stuck to the sheets. Had teo beds, but we shared one. And the other acter as a place to hold our suitcases. The pool area was decent for smaller children hiwever the outdoor hottub jets did not work. Staff was friendly.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. Location was wonderful but we had a room on the main floor that had a very musty smell!!! Having allergies we had to go to another hotel the second night because the musty room set my allergies off. I was told that the whole hotel is going to be under construction soon to update the rooms. I would definitely stay there again once the bottom floors get an update!!
