Near train station and metro

The door locks need to be replaced!! I spent up to ten minutes sometimes fumbling with the key card, pretty high stress.
Staff might of been a little microaggressive, I’m not sure though. Hotel staff are pretty sneaky with their microaggressions.

Very nice and helpful staff that speaks very good English. The bathroom was newly renovated and everything was very clean. Breakfast was also good. Location is directly in the center and close to everything.

This is clean, comfortable hotel within easy walking distance from the train station. it's also very near the historic part of Rouen. I stayed on two different occasions on a recent trip to France, and both stays were pleasant.

The service is great and makes you feel welcome. The hotel is based in a traditional building so no elevator but some steep stairs so be ready. The single room on the top is spacious although ceiling is low. The hotel and rooms definitely need a fresh coat of paint and some work to be done (electricity sockets far from bed on other side of the room etc) . However location close to the train and city centre is perfect, bedlinen and towals are crispy white and clean.

I was in room 4 on the first floor and it was great. Nice and big, comfortable bed, my own bathroom (I know not all rooms there have your own bathroom but mine did) Nothing I didn't like about it.

The Manager was very friendly and helpful. He spoke excellent English.
Unfortunately the room was not as clean as I would like and the bathroom quite old and the plumbing not too good.
Old Hotel so you can't expect great rooms.
Value for money.

Run down and shabby with a quant shrub bath and lean on the floor. Quiet street and close to railway and old town.

For some reason France seems to have an abundance of rather Faulty Towers like shabby, run down, and dated hotels with creaking stairs and corridors, poor lighting, and dour receptionists and this was a prime example. On the positive side the bed was comfortsble enough. However the bathroom complete with standard dodgy plumbing lacked a toilet. There were no tea coffee facilities as promised, and the standard of decor and maintenance was very poor and dated. Certainly the pictures make it look better than it actually was.But it is one of the cheaper options in Rouen so ok for a night.

Room not clean. The cleanliness was not to an acceptable standard. The bedding was good and fresh yet other flat surfaces and exposed beam ledges including bathroom fan were full of dust, perhaps months worth. Hotel was old and had character, that is not the issue, housekeeping is!

The hotel is small on the edge of the central area close to the railway station. Main problem was that I arrived at 23.00 to find nobody at reception. It took a call to Hotel.com to rouse somebody to give me a room key! So if you are arriving late, ring ahead to make arrangements!! Rooms were clean but needing refurbishment. Nice continental breakfast. Ok for the price and friendly service - eventually.

The room itself was rather nice, with a desk and chair, dresser, large bed, and nightstands. There were two separate rooms for the shower and for the toilet. The plumbing is quite loud, and one could hear the rush of water anytime an occupant in another room flushed. The room is not air conditioned, which was fine during my stay despite it being July, since there was a nice breeze in the evenings to cool the room. However, this was not entirely ideal, because Rouen does have a lot of flies (noticed in several shops and museums). The staff did not end up coming in to clean my room on two of the four days of my stay, and I didnt notice any little sign I should have put on the door to request that. Improvements were being made to the hotel during my stay, and the first day they were repairing the first floor staircase. The location is great, located right behind the Museum of Fine Arts, and all of the city core is walkable. The only maps available at the hotel desk were in Japanese.

I didn’t realize from the picture attached to my reservation (which showed a normal
room) that I would stay in the “attic room” (see pictures); couldn’t stand up in most of the room, when i mentioned it to the staff, i was told “this is what you booked”. Fair enough, but for $523 for 3 nights in Rouen, i had (mistakenly) assumed i would be able to stand in my lodging. The towels looked fairly tired as did the room in general, the shower was the smallest one i have ever used, there were issues with the hot water... in summary, i was not happy with that stay.

I booked and paid for a clean, safe and quietly located hotel. You failed with my reservation and I got none of this. Parking was €15 extra and I dread to think what the 45minute phone call to ‘resolve’ this cost. Expedia, you should be considering compensation if you want to keep my custom.

Lobby stairs were a little dusty, dirty, and smelly. The rooms were clean but there wasn't a proper washroom door. The drapes used to cover the washroom door were stained and smelly. Could use an air freshener.
