Lovely little gem of a B&B, moments away from the Cathedral. Great breakfast as well.

Great place to stay! Kevin is a really friendly host and runs a great B and B! Breakfast was brilliant and easy short walk into town. Would definitely come back here again

Kevin is a 5 star host!!

Friendly place, but dated decor and Irish pub vibe. Breakfasts were large, plenty of choice and good quality food. A true 'old' country experience.

Host was amazing and very friendly! Amazing large breakfast with everything to fill you up. Same with amenities in the room. Surrounding area seemed a bit dodge but that's not the hotels fault.

Great location for city centre with short walk through lovely park, had great nights sleep regarding the very hot evening weather. Shower good & hot with a lovely cooked breakfast in morning always complimentary in my eyes.
I would stay again, some furnishings a little tired.

My stay at Rose Marie Guest House in Peterborough, England, was good. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, I think his name was Kevin, who made sure I felt right at home. The guest house is conveniently located, offering easy access to the city's attractions and public transportation.
The room was clean and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including the complimentary toiletries fridge/microwave and tea/coffee making facilities.
I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Peterborough, that wants to be in the city but have some money left for the attractions.

Bearing in mind the very low cost, I think a good value and was clean. Was only l there one night while in town, but will go back. Nothing local, but short walk to city centre pubs and restaurants. Friendly Irish host and fantastic full English/Irish.

It was very clean and tidy.

The owner has to do the school run but leave her number on the door so you don’t have to wait long.
She is really professional, polite and welcoming.
Room was comfy and quite with a fridge and microwave in room which is a bonus for longer stays.
No parking but a car park is situated 2 mins away and £6.10 for 24hrs is a good rate. Also paid by phone so you don’t have to worry about tickets on dashboard.
Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors down very reasonably priced.
Didn’t try the breakfast but smelt good.
Will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Stayed in the basic single room with shared bathroom option which was a short walk from the main B&B. Pleasant staff when checking in/out, and although a bit outdated, a really reasonable no frills option. Room had a fridge and microwave with plate/dish and cutlery. Was also worried the bed would be uncomfortable but was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend as a place to stay if not expecting anything fancy

The hotel is conveniently located on the high street and has easy access to numerous stores in the area. the area.

Perfect stay for 1 night for work. Bed was so comfy and room had everything I needed. Parking out the front was ideal. Very accommodating host too and my little dog ( who comes everywhere with me ) enjoyed it too! Thankyou and I will definitely re book again.

Stayed for 2 nights and love the home from home atmosphere. Kevin goes above and beyond for guests and the breakfast honestly tastes like its been made with love. Room was lovely, had ensuite shower, and the room had a microwave, fridge and kettle along with some cutlery, plates, bowl a glass and a mug so everything required in the room.
Really appreciate being allowed to leave my bag in the main guest house after checking out so i didnt have to lug it round town all day with my children.

As I arrived I was disappointed to find no parking, even though the as displays free parking, i had to park in a public car park across the road, the cost was only £4.50 though for 24 hours. I was pleased with the cleanliness and modernness of my room, which had been upgraded from single shared bathroom to double en-suité.
The room had a fridge, microwave kettle and plates, bowels and cups. I found the staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was mediocre at best, I probably wouldn’t eat there again.

The Hosts were very friendly and are more than willing to help you in any way they can. The hallway light outside the room was not good for me trying to get to sleep, looks like that stays on all night. Microwave and fridge was very handy though.

My room was very cosy, bed was comfortable like home from home! Breakfast was superb. I was happy with what I paid. Shower was lovely and hot and the bathroom was clean. I'll definitely be back to stay again soon

It was an "ok" stay, but just "ok", and really because of the bargain-basement price.
I stayed in the main building (I understand there is a second building too). My single room was cramped and in need of renovation - too many cables hanging off the wall, lamp not working, bathroom basically a toilet and shower in a cupboard under the stairs, bathroom floor tiling a mess, the "wardrobe" being a few hangers on a hook on the back of the door. The wall was paper-thin and I could hear the TV in the adjacent room as if it was right in front of me ... and whoever had that other room wanted to watch TV at 6am on a Sunday!
Parking was advertised as "free self-parking" when in fact I was directed to the public car park over the road. £4 for 24hrs isn't bad, but it's not free.
Thankfully it was a 1-night, in and out stay. This would not have been a good choice for a longer stay.
But there were some good things:
Easy to find.
Cheap.
Window did a good job at keeping out the road noise.
The owner was friendly and helpful, and made a fantastic full English breakfast.
Walking distance to the city centre ... although at night in the dark the shortest route felt a bit dodgy, like keep-your-wits-about-you dodgy.

It was good. Only problem I had, asked for a single bed private room when I called them to ensure the booking availability. The person answered the phone reassured it. But when I went in there it wasn’t a single bed private room luckily no other guests came in the night I stayed. Overall good. They serve breakfast as well. It’s separately paid though.

Traditional guest house B&B run by a lovely Irish bloke. Welcome was warm, breakfast was outstanding, room was comfortable and clean. It's not the Paris Hilton, but for its its class and price point, it was everything you'd hope for.

Good value no-frills accommodation in the Annexe house a few doors down. Be aware however that although hotels.com states free parking, they only had a limited number of permits, and as I was staying 2 nights, I had to move my car into a public car parking in the daytime - not expensive but still a bit of a pain.

It was like nowhere I have ever stayed and I didn’t stay here, I was so disgusted that I handed back the key and left. Torn curtains, nowhere to hang clothes. Grotty shared bathroom. Patched and loose decorating and paint. A tangle of wires in the bedroom for the appliances . Broken window catch. No headboard. Wish I could add photos to this. It was bad at any price !

Great place for what I needed. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming.
