Breakfasts were delicious, lovely cosy accommodation which was well-equipped with beautiful china and was lovely & quiet. Bed was really comfortable & had good nights sleep every night. Loved the area & there are some beautiful walks around the village & surrounding area. Made very welcome by the owners and we would definitely visit again.
Through no fault of the property owner but very limited options for eating out in Fenstanton if you are travelling with a dog! We were sent out of the bar in the local pub & were told we had to sit in the garden!

Mila is such a lovely friendly host. The accomodation is of a high standard and spotless. The location excellent for our needs. Already looking to book again.

Great cottage in a lovely location. Clean and comfortable. Mila was such a friendly helpful host. The fridge was stocked for us with lovely local breakfast ingredients which we just had to cook. The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was fast. Big TV in lounge with 2 comfy sofas. I honestly couldn't fault The Blue Cow.
Great place. No complaints.

Felt very private and secure, I didn't feel the need to lock anything when going out. Even though the breakfast was self cooked during covid, the ingredients provided were ample and of good quality. Great kitchen facilities too.

lovely self contained accommodation close to Cambridge with good walking routes on the doorstep. Very comfortable and well equipped, with a huge breakfast all ready in the fridge for you to cook at your own convenience. would highly recommend.
no secure outside area for the dogs.

Having our own little apartment, so we could come and go when we liked. It gave us more space and freedom.
We appeared to be rationed with our food, resulting in my husband's comments when we left. Two breakfasts we supplied and left in the fridge, for us to cook our own breakfast each day. Which was fine. Everything had to be either fried or microwaved. We could only find a very small amount of oil, two very small amounts of butter & enough marmalade for two days, although we had paid for three days' breakfasts. The bread supplied was very unusual & nutty, so we had to purchase a number of 'top-up' items. We couldn't cook on the second day, as there was no oil. When we returned in the evening expecting our third breakfast to be in the fridge, only our second breakfast had been 'topped-up'. Thankfully, our host reimbursed me £50.00 for the lack of third breakfast & certain items. A shame, otherwise it was very nice accommodation.

The breakfast was lovely. There was a good choice for the continental breakfast. The accommodation was in an excellent location which was very peaceful. The host was very helpful and pleasant.

Everything about the Blue Cow was excellent from the size of the rooms, to the super comfy bed and pillows and tasty breakfast of local produce.
The location is excellent as it's only 5 minutes from the beautiful town of St Ives and just a tad further to Huntingdon where you can hire a boat for the day.
There's an excellent gastro pub in walking distance and lots of other fabulous pubs in a short driving distance.
A five star experience all round and I cannot recommend it enough.
Everything was spot on!!!

Mila was there to greet us with a smile and a chat to welcome us to her property, explaining about the facilities and the location of extra bedding if we needed it. The breakfast was all that was promised and more. There was seial and eggs as well as the continental breakfast we had asked for. Plenty of books to read and DVDs to watch if the weather was bad.
To be honest I didn't get on with the oven/microwave but that could have been because I had never encountered one before

Beautifully done, everything attractively laid out in an interesting old building. 4 different breakfast menus so we had one for each morning we were there. Mila and Bill were most welcoming and we were sorry we couldn’t stay longer.
It has probably the longest and most difficult WiFi passcode on the planet!! So if that’s the worst we can say, then you know how good it was.

This is a high class property with all the special touches that make it a home from home.
Could not thank our hosts for being so accommodating and helpful. Delicious breakfasts too made with the best locally sourced ingredients. Can’t wait to come back.
