Good service and awesome management 👍

The staff don’t understand English, it’s ok but they have to let us know so we can use translation or ask someone to translate. They just shake the head ok and ok . That’s not acceptable

Good:
location, very close to haram, just behind the clock tower
Bad:
ac in room wasnt working. Nobidy came to check after I complained.
Room smelled like smoke
Cheapest room doesnt get natural light as the window faces an internal dark space

I stayed here while I was in Makkah performing Ummrah. All the staff were very kind and respectful. The haram is literally a 5 minute walk, and anything you want to eat and drink is a 5 minute walk in any direction. You can hear the adhan from the Haram at the hotel.

Upon arriving our room was not ready when promised for check in..We waited over 1 hour in the lobby area. Room service cleaned my room one time in the 5 days I was there. We kept calling for towels, toilet paper, and other items. Front desk was not very friendly either. I give this place a very poor rating

The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from Harem close to Safwa mall
The only thing is the bathroom needs refurbishment as it's a bit old and smelly but rooms are clean

One of THE worst stay experiences I’ve had. I booked a 5night stay here for my Umrah trip and I don’t wish the experience the hotel provides on anyone. The rooms are run down, towels torn (yes they had holes in them), the bathroom smelled of open sewage, and on the first night, the bathroom from the next door overflowed into our room. Our room was flooded and when I asked what happened, the helper staff wanted us to hush because the room next door was occupied by a Saudi family. When I went to the front desk to discuss, there was a short, fat chick who literally rolled her eyes at me. They treat Saudi guests different than other immigrant guests; you can feel the racism in the way they address your queries v/s queries from Saudis. There is no response from room service, even after you place multiple requests for extra towels, and bottles of water (I counted 4 hours, and still no service). The hotel manager didn’t seem to care much either. It seemed like they somehow expected me to ok with the situation. The only good thing about this hotel, however, is the distance to the Haram. I ended up canceling the rest of my stay and shifted to the Fairmont. Elaf still ended up charging me for one day and there was no help from the hotel as we were checking out. They tried to make the refund process for the remaining nights as difficult as possible thinking that as an immigrant, I would just go along with the flow.

It could definitely be cleaner. It wasn’t very clean. Bathrooms weren’t clean. It’s need some refurbishment or refinement of carpet was really dirty with a lot of stains present. Very very stinky smell coming in the room as well.

The check in was a little frustrating since the receptionist could not find any booking on my name. The reason clearly was the wrong typed in name in the system. Always give them the names you used for the booking ok hotels.com and not the one on the passport.

If I could give them a lower rating I would! We got to the hotel after a long flight. We were told our booking was canceled. And no rooms were available. They basically over booked and canceled our room. The staff was rude, and were literally refusing to speak to us. We stood there for over an hour trying to resolve the issue. The basically told us to get lost and find another hotel. I’ve never felt so helpless and degraded in my life. DON’T EVER BOOK AT THIS HOTEL. It may be a little cheaper in cost, and that may be and enticing factor. But they are terrible! Beware!

Good in breakfast was terrible.

GOOD:
the hotel is very strategically located, just 5 minutes from the gate for tawaf. it is close to all the shops and restaurants. it is also very easy to get taxis here. the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. they also have wuduk area and ironing facilities in the room.
BAD:
due to the location on the main road, it was VERY noisy. the windows weren't soundproof and I was on the top floor. check in too almost an hour during peak time and there were only 2 staff available. Only 1 of the reception staff speaks English, this made it very difficult to get assistance on time. TV and furniture in the room are very old. the shower wasn't clean and had mould in the grout. was not expecting these as the price per night was quite expensive.

Your tap water was brown. No one ever answered the reception phone when i called. The bed was right in front of the AC, very bad design. The toilet leaked. I could never get room service. Your elevators never worked properly. They would miss my floor or just not work completely.
2.5
All good except problems with phone in the room was not working I have to go to the reception all time to tell for room service apart from that every thing is good i will use your services in future again Inshallah

The hotel’s location is perfect. It is a 5 min walk only to AlHaram.
Although the hotel has a 5 star rating, it looks like a 3 star hotel. The house keeping didn’t come to clean our room after our first night. We called the house keeping to send us fresh towels, they promised they will send someone with the towels but they never did.

Perfect accommodations, we will come back inshallah

One of unprofessional hotels I have stayed. No one knows English. Neither front desk nor the room service. How do I order food. Wifi speed was 0.8 mbps. I never knew such speed existed today
Electrical sockets in room are Europe in style. Saudia has 3 pin UK style sockets so why give 2 pin Europe on style sockets. No sense at all. One night lamp switch cover was not there. Imagine if I do not see and touch I would have been electrocuted
Over all a pathetic stay
