Friendly at hotel Sindibad. Great location for us and we slept well

The water in our bathroom did not work when we arrived. When we tried it later the water came out the tap brown and the shower did not work until the following day.
The hotel had a smell that was not pleasant and probably what the numerous bowls of potpourri were for.
The staff were pleasant but definitely for people who only need somewhere to sleep.

I absolutely recommend this hotel, the friendly & helpful staff stand out among a month of traveling all over Morocco. I liked it so much that I stayed 3 seperate times! I was able to leave my big bag in storage with them while taking smaller trips for a few nights, which was very helpful. All the staff members were so kind, even welcoming by name on my third check in and helping me get a taxi nearby when I needed one.
The breakfast was typical for moroccan hotels & filling, plus theres cute kittens near by every morning. Whenever I went to use the pool or terrace, I had the place to myself. The rooms were large and air conditioning was very appreciated during the hot days. My only complaint was that the shower was very close to the toilet, which doesnt let the door open very much, making it uncomfortable to get in and out of. The beds were very comfy and I was able to get plenty of rest in between trips, anytime of day with peace and quiet.
I will definitely stay here again whenever I return to Agadir.

The hotel is pleasant, old fashioned and perfect for those who want a hassle free basic accommodation. Simple rooms for simple traveler's who just want a bed to fall asleep on and a shower to get refreshed after an enjoyable day out in beautiful Agadir also breakfast and service is first class.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean, but the linens, rugs and bedding were obviously very old and worn. The furniture and bathroom looked like they were last updated in the 70s. The air conditioner took a bit to really get going but worked well when it finally did. The pool is very tiny but clean and good for cooling off. Area is nice with good restaurants in the same square. About a 20-30 min walk to the beach. Overall, it was doable and a great price.

Heating/AC unit fan didn't work, tv remote broken, hadn't done a thing since the 60's. Bathroom was rusted but clean, lots of bleach, hot water barely tepid. Front desk / Mgr Khalid was a wonderful man, friendly and helpful

Wonderful, friendly staff and a great location. The hotel is older and the square in front was being renovated when I was there, but good value for money.

I want to thank mainly the morning receptionist. Our alarm never rang and we had to take a bus in 15 min. He went with us to the main street and stop a taxi for us. Thank you! The only bad thing i can say is people is allowed to smoke inside the building and breakfast isn't included which for the price i think it should .

After some hectic days in Marrakech and Essaouira it was nice to come to a place with a more quiet and chill athmosphere. A hotel close to supermarkeds and restaurants with great staff and a great room. Would stay here again.

The Hotel was much better than I expected. We had a really good service, the room was very clean and the people at the reception helped us a lot. We could reach the most things by walk which i liked most. The Beach is only 15 min by walk and taxi very cheap.

overall a very good hotel. The staff were very helpful, kind & happy. Only downside is that its a little far from beach and main tourist area. Well done.

Hotel lies in a very pleasant environment with restaurants, shops, stores, housing, in the middle of urban everyday life. Still situation is peaceful and quiet. Staff is pleasant, skilled in languages and helpful. Rooms are tidy, bed is good. Everything works. For todays traveller, there are enough power sockets in the rooms. We stayed for two weeks and were satisfied.

We was very surprised the fresh fruits as welcome gift. Very nice and clean hotel. The swimming pool on the roof is the super idea in warm days. Next to hotel you can find some nice restaurants and bars. Also the big supermarket is a 5 minutes walking distance. Very friendly and very helpful stuff.

I only stayed at the hotel the night before my flight back home but the place was perfect for it. There was no problem with a late check in. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The reception arranged a taxi to the airport for me and early breakfast.

Poor hot water in the shower- barely warm!! Lots of noise from the restaurant & bar. Smoke drifting into our room from the bar directly under our room.
Comfortable, bed, good sheets & towels, wifi worked some of the time.

The hotel is located in the town centre and is great for those who want to discover real, local life in Agadir. There are 2 mosques nearby and the calls for prayers can be heard even with balcony/windows closed (first call around 6am). If this bothers you, you may want to look for another place to stay. The noise from the corridors can be heard as well (people talking), but this wasnt a big issue for me.I cant comment on the pool as havent tried it.I stayed in a room with a garden view and attached a couple of photos (I came across a review complaining about the garden; in my opinion perfectly acceptable to call it that).Smoking was permitted in my room. This info wasnt anywhere on the website (or perhaps I missed it?) and it was a little bit of a surprise. It wasnt terrible, but there definitely was a slight cigarette smell and you should be aware. The decor is outdated, but the room, the bathroom and communal areas were spotless clean. The staff was very helpful and the manageress came personally to introduced herself. It is also possible to exchange the money at the hotel reception with a reasonable exchange rate.Considering this is a 2 star hotel and one of the cheapest in Agadir, the overall experience was great and you cannot beat the value for money.

Charming and helpful staff - good quality/price ratio - great location (very close to the see) - I didn't swim on the rooftop swimming pool but it's really really nice and agreeable to have this option for your stay - the only "negative" point to me is that the room seemed bigger on the picture, it's a little bit small, but still confortable. Conclusion : I recommand!
