The hotel is close to the walking areas and worked just fine as a room. The only complaint is the noise level is high. Windows closed still felt like open. Lots of street noise throughout night. Used ear plugs provided but still difficult. Just to loud for me. Rest was good enough.

Alma Hotel was a great location for walking to the must see parts of the city. Palermo can be a bit daunting but the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was so lovely and comfortable. A good breakfast to start the day. A special shout out to Michele and Francisco on reception, who were so friendly and welcoming. You knew you could ask them for any help or advice and they would be more than happy to assist. If you visit Palermo, the Alma Hotel is a great place to stay. Its a deceptive external appearance.

This hotel is situated only five-minutes walk to the Teatro Massimo, and on a quiet street. It is easy to call taxi from here. The downside of it is a very old elevator with multiple 3-stars hotel and it small breakfast selection.

Perfect location for exploring historic Palermo. Very friendly staff who were keen to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Very clean and comfortable rooms, good bathrooms and toiletries. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here if returning to Palermo.

Nice location. Lobby on second floor then rooms scattered on floors 3-6. Good options in breakfast buffet. Rated very low on cleanliness only for the terrible sewer smell in the bathroom pipes. Needed to keep door closed at all times! Overall a nice place for a few days

The folks at the reception desk are super friendly and super helpful. The communication prior to arrival was great. We had a 2 room suite that was very comfortable. The location was central to the older part of Palermo. 2 restaurants i suggest you reserve ahead of time, Locale and Nona Dora

I rated this as 2 stars for the following reasons: Cons - Parking was terrible, there is no breezway or hotel specific reception on the street. I had to double park, go up to the 2nd floor and let reception know I had arrived. THey called their valet who came in 10 min but by that time a bus was yelling at my family to move. - I had to ask the reception to come help with bags and it took 3 trips because the elevator is slow and small. - We came back to the 2nd floor for some reason just to be told to go to the 4th floor to our room. - Room was extremely noisy all night long with people moving furniture, very loud road noise and lots of light (curtains have small slits in them). This was a problem for us mostly since we were traveling with a 20month old but my wife and I were woken up by loud music and loud horns. - The room is extremely simple with not many amenities. - We found a roach the morning we were checking out after a 2 night stay. Pros - Great for single or couples in terms of proximity to lots of sights, food, bars. - Staff was helpful and nice in our limited interaction - Travelers without a car or luggage

The staff is attentive and responsive. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable 😊. I love the electric tea pot in the room with instant coffee for those moments when you just need a coffee or tea! Definitely returning to this one!

The conditions were simple/minimal but were wonderfully comfortable and clean, and the staff could not have been nicer. They were very helpful in all matters and flexible in adapting to our needs. I might add that the location was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely stay there again
