Very, very basic. But clean and comfortable enough.

The property was in a very quiet neighborhood. Which is nice considering how loud with traffic noise some places can be. It was centrally located from the main highways and fast food restaurants if you’re hungry and arriving late at night. Friendly staff and a good bargain if you want a place to crash and get up and hit the road early.

The people were friendly and accommodating.
The on-site restaurant served good food.
It was an easy walk to other restaurants and Walmart.
It is only a few minute drive from the Pan-American Highway.

We checked into the hotel just after 7pm. We were awakened by pounding on the door at 10pm. The girl tells us they double booked and they want us to VACATE the room and they would get us a room at another hotel! What? I'm already asleep and my husband has to deal with this woman demanding that we leave. We had already paid for the booking via Expedia and my husband refused to leave. It was not a pleasant experience to wake up to!

Too many bugs…..got bitten throughout the night

Quiet little hotel tucked out of the way. Only confusion for me was how to set the water temperature in the shower - I’ve never seen an electric shower head!

Friendly staff. Good room for a cheap price.

Very clean. The most lovely staff. Got stuck there when our flight got cancelled. The woman at the front desk was so helpful
Was unsure of the area but we could walk to Walmart. We were told the restaurants were another 500 metres but it was dark
Max 15 minutes to the airport

Good one night stay close to the airport, hotel is a little far from city or main square. However comfortable room an clean area.

Had to book extra night near airport after cancelled flight. Nothing wrong with the area or hotel just not to my standards. More of a motel than hotel.

Close to Walmart and the "American" part of Liberia. Very clean and nice, quiet and quaint.
The hotel has a small restaurant, and some of the staff knows English, if your Spanish is not good. If you are renting a car, they can deliver the car to this hotel as well, which is convenient.
As of 2024 you can get there from the airport with Uber for about $12, the taxi is about $20.

It was clean and close to some shopping. There wasn’t anyone at the front desk later in the afternoon. The shower was difficult for me to get hot water as it was so high to reach the electrical apparatus.

Comfortable hotel with attached cafe run by friendly women. Conveniently located on outskirts of Liberia about 25 minutes from the airport.

Nice, the room was a little quirky but it was comfortable and exactly what we needed.

The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood with a nearby bar/lounge. The bar played loud music until midnight so we could hear the thumping which was not conducive to sleep. The bathroom was tiny and the electrical panel is located IN the shower above the shower curtain which did not look safe. Luckily, we were there only 1 night and opted not to use the shower.

Walkable to Walmart, taco Bell, etc. customer service is great.

The young man who greeted me at the reception desk was very courteous and friendly. Checking was fast. I gave him my name and told him it had already been paid for through Expedia. He found me on his list and he handed me the key. It's a great value given its proximity to the airport. As other reviewers have commented, it's a great place if you need to stay near the airport before your flight.

Everything was good for a 1night inexpensive stay
Restaurant was limited but quite good
Room was simple but clean
Walmart is close by for purchasing food

Shuttle Transportation is listed as a service, NONE is provided. It is best if you know Spanish to communicate your needs. Otherwise, bed was clean, no hot water, not near any amenities. I would pass on this one, unless you are just traveling through and need a place to sleep.
1.5
A good place to stay if all you need is a room. No amenities close by and cafe was not open at all. Close to the airport and has a shuttle service you can pay for.

Goog place for the price, typical Costa Rica, near the airport, quiet, clean. We recomend.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were very clean. AC was nice. Super quiet relaxed hotel.

Unfortunately, myself and another customer were overbooked into the hotel. However, the gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful in helping us both to find rooms at another location and getting us to the site. Because of the his efforts, I am just thinking of this as a vacation adventure, something a little unusual.

The room was clean and confortable. Everything as expected.

Bathroom window is open so loud noises and birds morning Sounds were too loud which disturbed my sleep few times.
Once, someone was smoking weed outside but smell came to my room through the window which was not healthy for me.

Location wasn’t terrible it was just behind Walmart in town. Perfect for a nights stay after a later arrival in Liberia. Great breakfast spot in hotel too. We did hear gun shots at night though. A bit concerning but thankfully didn’t affect us. There was 3 beds in our room too, which was perfect for 3 solo travellers.

Hotel located in a quiet residential area .4 mile (.6km) from the WalMart.
Certainly an excellent value. WiFi and A/C worked perfectly

Our next door hotel neighbors rampaged like rabbits all night long and we could hear their moans and spanks etc. They even started the next morning early.
Area around the hotel is pretty trashy - walking to the river is gross.
Coffee was not free.
Old skool suicide shower barely worked.
4.0
The hotel itself was clean, well maintained and in a quiet neighbourhood close to the airport.
Note that the building layout has all hotel room windows facing into the courtyard, so you have to keep the curtains closed for privacy whenever you're in the room. In short, always darkness in the hotel room instead of being able to allow daylight in.
