The room was clean, shower leaked outside the bathroom onto the room. Hairdryer had taped around it and it didn't work. Check in was very difficult. On a good note it was very centrally located, we could walk everywhere.

Super clean space located close to dining and shopping. Would definitely book again!

Room was wonderful. Great guesthouse! Unique character! Address on website did not accurately show location on Google maps. This was very confusing for Taxi driver which cost me Euros driving arround the town. Check-in is absolutely NOT available before 3 p.m.... even if it is raining or you are feeling unwell (although I was allowed to leave luggage early and puck up after check-out).

There was a strange smell in our room like fresh paint that was very difficult to ignore. The place overall felt more like a hostel than a boutique hotel. The walls are thin so noises kept us up a lot at night.
Parking is sort of a joke. It’s across the river and public parking at the local bus station. So it’s not associated with the property whatsoever.

Great location, next to the river, with a warm welcome and nice design. We had the garden suite, which has a separate bedroom and a lounge with kitchenette. You can make your own breakfast there, use the common kitchen downstairs, or head round the corner to a healthy breakfast place.
The only negative is the design of the bathroom, which really offers no privacy. Separated from the bedroom by a glass wall, and from the lounge by a curtain. Unless you are comfortable sharing your entire bathroom life with your travelling companion, it is a little exposed! An additional curtain or some more frosting on the glass would be a plus. Everything else was great.

in spite of old traditional extelior, inside is perfectly new and clean, extremely comfortable facilities.
moreover, the best thing of this hotel is kindness of all staffs.
i really appreciate them, especially one of them, for hospitalities i have not recived ever, anywhere of the world.
i really recommend this hotel to all tourists who go to San Sebastian.

Stayed for 1 night in room no.1. Hotel staffs were very nice. The room renovated in good taste to look at it. But functionally it needs to be improved specially in bathroom. Shower has only curtain beside toilet and floor is not sloped enough to drain water. Flooded all toilet - sink area and water stayed till next day.

Great stay in a lovely hotel and brilliant location! The only downside was that the WiFi wasn’t always reliable

Lovely staff and accomodation. Perfect location to explore the city from.

Great place to stay near the commercial district, and walkable to the historic center. Parking will need to be done at a paid lot across the river (at a discounted rate).

Nicely renovated rooms, very friendly and helpful staff.
We had the 'apartment' that sleeps 4 and has a kitchenette. It is a bit cramped at full capacity but the facilities are modern and there is direct access to the garden. Good, central location but parking is a 10 minute walk.
It is on the pricey side given the size of the room we had.

Bottom line, nice little guest house with rooms on the first floor of a small apartment building in San Sebastian. The sleeping rooms are extremely small and no window looking out on a street. The staff are very nice and helpful. A small refrigerator and a place to make coffee are in a shared common area. Also, you have to park your auto several long blocks away in a commercial parking lot that is like 18 Euros a day. I lost my phone so the staff were very helpful. The shower worked well and the place was clean and safe but the rooms are as small as anything in Paris or New York. Great location for walking to shops, restaurants and the beach.

The bathroom was separated by a glass wall/door so there is literally no privacy when you shower/ go to the bathroom save a frosted stripe cutting across the length of the wall. Upon checking in, we paid up front for 2 days parking- simple enough and at a discounted rate! Upon check out though, the machine at the garage 3-4ish blocks away said my ticket expired. I had to repark and head back to the hotel to get a new one. When I did, the guy gave me a hard time acting like I didnt pay for the ticket- he even told me Id have to go and pay the full price if I wanted my car out, even thought I had already paid AND gave him the pass with the hotels name PRINTED on it back to him. How would I have that ticket if I hadnt paid them for it already? The guy then questioned me about when I bought it from them, for how much (does this mean they charge people different prices?), and who at reception I bought it from. The owner (I think) and the guy discussed my situation via phone and I was eventually (~25min later) given a new ticket. When I then walked back to the garage to get the car (ticket worked!) and picked my mom and our suitcases up at the hotel, my mom told me the owner said hed call the lady up who worked reception the day we checked in to verify I paid and would be in touch later for me to pay for the parking pass. Absolutely ridiculous.

Really stylish hotel in a great location. 10 minutes walk from the Old Town and right by the river. Loved the decor and the room was bright and airy. Have access to a cute little garden and communal kitchen with tea/coffee supplied. Really great stay and would definitely return!
Just make sure you stay with someone you're comfortable with seeing you shower as the bathroom is in a glass box. If you're after bathroom based privacy look elsewhere!

it was good.

Clean and nice hotel, but for the price I expected more. The rooms are quite small and dark, and there's no aircondition. Feels more like a luxury hostel then a boutique hotel.

The worst room I've ever stayed in - the window faced a brick wall in a very narrow backyard. There was no natural light, and no fresh air coming in. The back yard was also full of downpipes and drain pipes, making our room very noisy whenever anyone else in the building used their toilet or had a shower. When it rained it was unbelievably noisy. The room itself was so tiny there was no room for a bathroom, only a tiny cubicle with a shower and a toilet, which was fronted by glass door - not great for privacy. This cubicle was so small that there was no room for a sink - this was placed in the bedroom, right at the foot of the bed.
Hotel management were not helpful when we made our complaints about the room, and it made our stay very unpleasant.

Great location being just next to the bus terminus, old city and the beach, plus good service at this boutique guest house. Just note that there is no air conditioning and can get a little hot at nights in summer

This was a very new hotel. What I like about it is that it is modern in design unlike the other older san sebastian guest houses. The customer service was great, and the guy told us about the newer restaurants in town which I really appreciated. If you're in san sebastian give this hotel a try because it is unlike any other hotels in town.
