Loved this hotel. It has so much personality - fun and eclectic, exactly my kind of place. The room was comfortable and I really enjoyed using the hot springs bath onsite!

Just exactly perfect

It was very homey, like being in an old, but modern, ranch.
We cooked a full meal in the kitchen!
Nice traditional decorations and colors.

We had a reservation with this hotel. We arrived after a long day of driving, late at night, only to find that the front desk was closed. We were

It was HOT. Air conditioner was not in the bedroom, which was west-facing and had the biggest window, so it was very hot in the room during the day. The soaking tubs were fine, and soaking was great.

Funky place with several buildings, i liked the room facing a courtyard; but was originally given a room upstairs in another building: it is not very clear where the rooms are from the webpage. Access to the hot springs a bonus --- although the water could be hotter. A 50s style motel, some rooms have kitchenette. Several of the cafes in town were closed Mon thru Wed, weekends it is busier.

It was a nice stay.

Once you arrive at the room, it looks welcoming. However, spiders were crawling on the bed which frightened our little one.
I booked this hotel because of the kitchen but the stove was not working. I had all the items and ingredients to make spaghetti for my family and I was not able to. Very disappointing because staff is very friendly, Bill was so nice when we checked in.

Close to everything with the biggest hotel room i have ever stayed at. Personal service was great

Probably a novelty for most people but not what expected, especially when given an outdoor shower not mentioned as per original booking.

Reaches and ants in the room. Was not happy !!

The person helping with check in was very nice and went out of her way to be helpful. My room was more like a small apartment with an entry, bedroom and kitchen. Having spent many hours in 100+ degrees, the outside shower was a welcome sight!

The room was a little dirty, and extremely hot. One of the photos in the room was drawn on. Staff was friendly. I’ve stayed at the pelican before and the room was a little dirty. I’m not sure if I’ll stay there again.

The place has a living room, kitchen (stove works but hasn’t been used) dinner area, bedroom (great heater and air con) and a full bathroom with a tub. I like this place a lot because it’s very comfortable and a mile walking distance from the Pelican Bay Spa. I was able to soak all the time that I stayed and even the whole day and night that I checked out. The service was very friendly and the Spa was great and it was easy to make a reservation. If you pick the Amex C bring some food from Walmart if you arrive after 4:00pm or want a late snack. We think this is the best place if you want to stay at the Pelican! I recommend 3 days to get the best experience.

The room had an outdoor shower and it had food in the sink and cofee pot was dirty. Thevroom looked like it had not been cleaned before our arrival.

This review was from someone who wasn’t there for the spa experience. This is an old property in pretty good condition considering its apparent age. We had to upgrade our first reservation because we didn’t want an outside shower. We were then upgraded for free to the next level, to a spacious room.
Pros: * this was a large 2 room space
* the king bed was very comfortable
* There was a large college type refrigerator
* a nice dining room table for eating
Cons. * there was no real place to park. They wanted us to park in the bank parking lot across the street that had the “no overnight parking or you will be towed” sign. Not good
* the springs in the couch were so bad that they poked you in the a$$.
* they charged me a $3 credit card fee without telling me.
I would certainly search for other options the next time.

I was charged an extra. $160 for having 2 chihuahuas with me. I told the receptionist that the site says I would be charged an additional $25 per pet and nothing about a holdover . He said the information is outdated . I Expected the $100 to be cleared and saw it was charged less than 24 hours after checkout. I am not happy and will not be returning to this facility.

Great hot springs. Fun area to walk, good restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable. I will stay again but probably in the main building next time closer to the springs.

LeeLuu and Taylor made my stay the best and a large part of the reason I extended my work contract in the area. I can't wait to go back for vacation! Thank you ladies!

Pelican Spa gets 5 stars for whimsy, 3 stars for execution. Room was clean and everything worked, but the bathroom was cramped and difficult to use.

Funky but pleasant place to stay. Unfortunately, not enough hot tubs so i only got one soak in. Staff are great, accommodations are eclectic with full kitchen and very small bathroom

It's been 3 years since I stayed here and the property looks great! They've painted and the outdoor areas are beautiful. Little upgrades here and there. Only downside is kitchens in units are missing alot of essentials. I'll definitely return to Pelican Spa!

It must have been a fancy place a long time ago
Ok people were friendly and its colorful
But very poor bed. No possibility to get beverages. No breakfast. No showers in the room and those in the tubs were cold.
Besides the do have mineral baths.
To me the whole thing needs to be renovated
