Beautiful property! The space age shower didn’t seem to be fully functional, but a lovely stay regardless

2nd time staying at the Savoy Hotel. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Had to ring for front desk staff. They came fairly quickly. The 2 rooms we stayed in were on the smaller side. Bathrooms nice. No closet, hooks only. Love the hot tub on the roof. Downside no elevator.

Great modernroom, and comfortable bed! Disappointed that the fancy shower in the pictures didn't work, and had to fiddle with the thermostat all night to get the heater/fan to turn off, the fan was set and locked to be on for 55 minutes out of every hour. Ended up opening the patio do to dissable the thermostat. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!

The accent lights on the exterior are beautiful from the outside but make it difficult to sleep. Yes, I could close the curtains, but I love the outdoor air from the wonderful large windows.

Unique clean hotel close to downtown

Boutique hotel on a very busy street. Staff was excellent - they solved a neighbours noise problem for us expeditiously. Do book your parking in advance! Loved the rooftop deck and open brick.

Okay hotel in walking distance to everything downtown.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in aug of ‘24. The location can’t be beat as it is located at the end of the Main Street of town. The room was clean and quiet even though the hotel was full.
We reserved the rooftop hot tub one night which was amazing along with the view.

Place was great! Nice and close to DT
My only beef was wanting to charge $10 a night to park a motorcycle in a fenced off (not enclosed or secure) chunk of dirt …

The bed was GREAT! The only thing I wished it had was water in room and an ice machine. There was an ice machine on counter in the sitting area on the floor, but it needs water added and none had been added. The shower was great.

If you enjoy high end accommodation this is a great property for you.
I had to get acquainted with how to use the dimable light switches, the multi faucet shower and the in room coffee machine.
Very clean, neat boutique hotel. My room had a view of one of many murals downtown Nelson.
The sushi downstairs was also very good.

The hotel was nice enough. They have a very small parking lot across the street otherwise it’s meter street parking. The staff were nice and helpful but I can only give a 1 star because in the morning I discovered bed bugs in our room! I told the staff, who did not seem surprised ,they advised me on how to seek a refund through Expedia which I did. They said they would block the room and deal with the bed bugs so I hope that they do!

rooms are small with communal fridge in common area, No phone , but nice. the bed was comfortable, quiet at night, had good sleep. cons were: steam shower was shut off, and was not told until tried to use and reported leaking water. Is located on main street close to everything. Staff was nice. will stay again as issues were minor.

Had a great stay. The front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was lovely. The only very minor thing is that we would have liked to have some coffee cream. We did ask several times but it never came.

Had to pay for parking that only 5 vehicles could park. Only 4 could actually park there. Every time I went to park they were full? When I brought it up in the morning I was refunded (I think) on my card
No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the shower.
