Everything was great but there was no Internet which disappointed us

There was a terrific view of Noyo Harbor from our room, and it was fun fall asleep to the fog horn and wake up to the seals and sea lions in the harbor. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.
But overall, the room was incredibly dated (think 70s) and felt sort of thrifty and dim. For example, real ceramic coffee cups, but those cheaply flexible plastic water cups that you can't even stand a toothbrush in. Not great for drinking out of either. No-name soap mounted in a wall dispenser. Oddly unbalanced lighting with one bedside lamp incredibly bright and the other normal. A sort of weird layout with the vanity in the room, rather than in the bathroom. Not uncommon, I know, but it didn't add to the ambience. Overall, we decided that this was a fine place to sleep, but not a place I'd book if I wanted to relax in the room, read a book, have a glass of wine, etc. We also joked that it would be a bad place to check into depressed.

The room was very old and outdated. Not like the picture shown on the website. Extremely hot and the wall unit did not work. I had to leave open the sliding door because it was so hot and I was on the first floor. Do not stay on the first floor as you can hear the people above you tromping around. This was throughout the night and really ramped up at 6AM. Refrigerator smelled inside and was not turned on, I couldn’t find the cord to plug in. I spoke with the person at the front desk when I checked out. They told me that was an older room that had not been updated. Just extremely frustrating. Two nights was two too many!! If you stay there ask to look at the room first and stay on the top floor.

Incredibly friendly staff! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The whole family enjoyed staying here and if we are ever back in Fort Bragg staying here is a no-brainer!

Was a nice place the only thing was the floor was slippery in the hallway and vanity area. Could be dangerous.

Beautiful room. We had a great view of the harbor and could see the seals and the boats coming in and out of the harbor. Everything was great about the room. Mattress is a tad to soft for my liking, but other then that this place is great.

Room had stains on carpet and smelled.

The room was clean and spacious with a view of the harbor. We had a sofa, a table and chair for writing and a comfy chair for sitting and reading.

Great view. Walking path to the noyo is not maintained and a little scary to walk down. Beds are hard if you like that. Our room had spiders and ants in it. The fridge kept things frozen even when we adjusted the temperature. But it was clean. And we loved the view.

Nice hotel the property was cute. The rooms are pretty basic we got one without a view though so maybe those are nicer. The heater got stuck on wouldn’t turn off so it was so hot in our room but other than that it was ok. Beds aren’t very comfortable pretty hard.

When I walked into my assigned room 305 I found the rug absolutely filthy. I asked the desk clerk to look at it, which she did. She did not offer to move me or make any compensation. She just beat around the bush. Sorry this and sorry that. In addition the WiFi there is not good. Clerk gave excuse that it didn’t work well. Worked in lobby but not in room.

This place is great and the office staff was incredible. We had one of the studio rooms that overlooked the harbor and we got to listen to the sea lions the whole time.

Loved the deck and sounds of the harbor seals. Fireplace was a nice touch and the king size bed was comfortable. Water pressure was rather weak in the shower but plenty of towels and the complimentary shampoo/conditioner was of good quality. Cleanliness excellent but the cleaning solution used has a potent perfume smell. Thank goodness for the cross breeze ...all in all an excellent stay and Alison was very helpful with local places to eat at. Free coffee is a nice touch but was burnt but the station was well stocked and clean. We will be back....thank you

A very convenient and comfortable stopover, but also a good base for a longer stay. Our room had a nice view over the harbor, from which we were occasionally serenaded by sea lions (though room sound-proofing was fully up to the task of deadening that and the road noise from a nearby bridge). Excellent service - friendly and efficient. Would happily stay there again.

Room was extremely outdated and in poor condition. Carpet was black and so soiled with filth. Horrible bed that sunk at the head. I felt like I was sleeping on an inversion table. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Would NOT recommend at all!

Friendliest staff I have encountered and a lovely property at a good price.

The front desk service was great. The room was clean and very pleasant. There was no internet and I was unable to work which caused a problem for me. I pointed this out to several staff members, they all felt bad and said it has always been a problem and that they are trying to upgrade it. At this point in time, there is no excuse for weak or no internet.

Staff very friendly. We stopped one night on our motorcycle trip. Quiet and comfortable bed. Found excellent Sunday brunch, saw seals and otters.

My husband and I decided to switch up which hotel we stay at in Fort Bragg and we loved the Harbor Lite Lodge! The staff were very friendly and check-in was a breeze. We got one of the deluxe rooms and it was nice that those rooms have their own parking area. The balcony was a great spot to watch all of the harbor activities. One small detail that I was quite impressed by is that you could watch Netflix and YouTube on the tv.
Would definitely stay here again!

The WiFi connection did not work in my room so I had to go to the lobby for work. It is being fixed later this year

I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay, but not a long stay. The hotel itself is extremely clean and fairly comfortable. Location is excellent. The staff was some of the nicest and most helpful I've ever run into.
Unfortunately the hotel lacks on the noise level. You can hear others very easily, and we unfortunately had people yelling out on their balcony from 1am to 3am. We could hear every word. It did keep us awake.
Overall though the hotel offers solid value.

The property is a bit rundown, Several large spots on carpets and black stains in bathroom floor. The particular "No View" room is right next to the gas station and roads/highway? The traffic noise is loud that I have to keep the balcony door closed at all time. Too much noise to really enjoy the balcony. Will not return to this hotel... I could have chosen the nearby motel and save $50

Great location, the room was dated but was sufficient for me. The wifi is atrocious, you should really upgrade if you plan to keep the price point up.
