The experience in this apartment was the worst I have ever seen/encountered. To begin with when I had arrived at the apartment the bed sheets were smelling of sweat and had stains. The toilet was very dirty and I asked the supervisor to have them changed which he did but little did I know that he would go downstairs and start talking about us in a rude and unprofessional way to his colleague and her boyfriend (non working staff individual). After that I was woken up at 3:00AM by loud bangs on the door being threatened to leave the place because apparently payment was not made yet it showed booked on the app. There was a non-staff individual threatening to kick us out together with the staff - who claimed to had called us during the night when we were sleeping and was also very rude with her communication. She and the non staff boyfriend called us to go pay or else we would be kicked out and what was puzzling is the apartment was booked on the app. Supervisor came shortly and insisted we sorted the matter in the morning. Next morning the manager came and everything was sorted, we cut our stay short because this experience was not only dissatisfying but traumatising. The manager had to charge us a discounted fee for our stay after we complained to him. We travelled from London to Preston for a City Break only to go through such an experience. This is the most disappointing unprofessional dissatisfying experience.STAFF WAS VERY RUDE .

Convenient and decent price, although no shower gel or shampoo in the dispensers. Is noisy as next to a railway station but didn’t bother me

Before I went there ,no one replied my phone calls and emails. I went there and there was serious clog up at the bathroom. It's noise with just a thin wall. OVERALL, POOR!!

The home away from home feel you want. A lovely little apartment with all the shops in walking distance. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in and around the area.

Great location next to the train station We normally stay at a hotel but there was so much more room here and the facilities were great. Concierge very friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. The apartment was a good size and only a minute walk away from the train station and only a couple more minutes to the shops and bars etc. There could be some more things within the room such as pizza cutter or a big knife. The oven didn’t work when I arrived but this was explained to me and didn’t really affect my stay.

I have stayed here a number of times, the property I love, the location is perfect and I do enjoy staying at these apartments. The property itself was very clean, tidy and in excellent condition. However the only slight issue I had were there were no glasses, one wine glass and one latte glass. Also the communication was a tad poor, as there were two of us with cars we wanted to know where we could park. I fully understand that they are busy etc., as I know what it is like. These issues are very slight that is because I am being picky. Overall - whenever I am in Preston I will always book Fishergate Apartments.

Stayed a few nights for a business trip. Small but comfortable and well equipped apartment in a very useful location. Friendly and helpful management. Would stay here again.

A good find close to the station but the noise was not an issue. Comfortable apartment although the mattress on the bed was memory foam which is not to my taste particularly but probably suits most people. The only issue I had was check-in when the intercom was not answered but a quick call on the mobile number contained within the hotels.com reservation email soon solved the problem. Would definitely stay again.

Had trouble getting hold of the owner to let me into the property, pressed the bell 3 times and no answer, had to phone the number on the email twice. The email also stated someone would come down to meet me but they just spoke to me through the intercom. Other than that, can’t fault my stay, the apartments are lovely, the bed was so comfy, everything was clean, nice facilities, liked the smart technology, felt at home, was a ten min walk away from where I was doing my course, loads of local amenities, right next to train station but wasn’t noisy, would definitely stay again, was sad to leave! Not much parking but I managed to bag a space. Appreciated the strict rules about noise levels and respecting other guests as that has been a big issue when I have stayed in other hotels.

Excellent location if you require shopping, food at your door stop and perfect if travelling by train as you can literally see the trains coming in. Noisy uf windows are open as 24/7 of station announcements heard. Property smaller than expected but fine. Generally utensils/ cutlery was a little on the depleted side for an appt and hsd to request inc towels etc but were supplied without a fuss. All in all felt very homely :) Would I stay again?? Yes but if it was cheaper!!

Next to the train station and far too noisy for me with the window open. With the window closed, the room became too hot during the night. Needs air conditioning. The window also had a bar preventing it from being opened more than an inch.The room itself was clean apart from the bed and sheets which were a bit smelly.The doors in the shared accommodation all slammed shit very loudly as they’re fire doors.

We arrived early in the day after our flight to Manchester but were warmly received by the manager and staff even though check in time was much later in the day. We were very tired from traveling and greatly appreciated being allowed to move into the apartment early. The kitchen had tea and coffee so we didnt have to go out right away to stock up.

Friendly & helpful proprietor greeted me on arrival & showed me round, including advising me on best places to breakfast & dine in Preston (& he was right!). Modern, light (2 windows) & nicely-decorated en suite room was sufficiently spacious to watch TV or use free wi-fi comfortably, with generous width of shower. Complementary tea/coffee, breakfast cereals & milk provided in fully equipped modern kitchen/lounge where one could sit & watch huge TV. As purpose of my holiday was to explore Lancashire, apartments site adjacent to station & within easy walking distance of bus station & town centre shops made it an ideal base. Double glazed windows kept sounds of station to minimum, so my sleep was not disturbed. As a female pensioner travelling extensively on her own, this was my first experience of self-catering & definitely I found the whole experience much better than many 3-star hotels in which I have stayed. Highly recommended.

From the pictures looks like an apartment. However it is rooms with ensuits like a hotel and a shared kitchen area. My room was tiny, the sink in my ensuit was even smaller, so small I couldn't even brush my teeth properly and toothpaste went all over me! Reminded me of a shared house for students. Great location, walls also very thin I could hear the guy next me coughing all night.
