Excellent experience!! The staff were extremely helpful and nice. The facilities were also fantastic. We had the best onsen experience in our life. Thought the meal was soso, me and my friends would definitely recommend people to stay there and would come back again in no doubt!

We visited this hotel with our three kids this summer. The hotel and the experience was an incredible, authentic part of our trip to Japan. The owners and staff of the hotel were amazing! The outdoor Onsen bath was under construction and was not open during our stay, but the hosts kindly let us use a small outdoor family bath. The indoor baths were incredible! The dining was a great experience and was super authentic. Maybe a little bit too authentic for our kids! The only breakfast option was a traditional Japanese breakfast which did not go over very with our our kids. However, the food was excellent and you can see why the Japanese are in such incredible shape!

Amazing place for relaxation. Best part was the friendly owners and high standard of everything (from food, room and onzen).
We will come back again!

Staying here was an incredible experience. Naomi-san and her staff were extremely welcoming and took great care of us the whole time. For example, when we couldnt find the nearby foot bath, Naomi-san personally walked us there and showed us what to do. She might say she doesn't speak English but she actually speaks it well and it's easy to communicate. The rooms were lovely. We did a traditional Japanese style room and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Even sleeping on the futons was very comfortable despite us being used to Western style beds. From our room we had great views of the surrounding mountains. The onsen was well maintained and it was serene to sit outside in the bath while it snowed. There are indoor and outdoor baths for men, women, and private families. It was our first experience at an onsen and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was also beyond expectations. Each meal we left completely satisfied, having tried about a dozen different dishes including grilled fish, soup, pickled vegetables, sashimi, and more. Definitely one of the most memorable nights of our trip to Japan. If I find myself in Japan again one day, I will definitely stay here again.
