The first room we checked into was filled with bugs. Bugs in the bathroom, bugs around the bed, bugs on the ceiling. We got moved into another room and there was a hole in the wall with a fly hive. The door of the third room we were moved to would not open. We were offered breakfast as compensation for all the inconvenience and when we moved to the fourth room, the staff kept our breakfast compensation. When we got to the fourth room, the bathroom light was not working. Maintenance resolved the issue. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone as it would give the wrong impression of Taos. I am sad that the night had to go like this and feel like I should be reimbursed for this terrible experience.

We drove from Trinidad for a 2 night stay. Beautiful drive. The location of the room was our main concern. There was a lot of traffic coming through, both cars and guests and workers constantly. It's like they booked most everyone in that building. Room was nice and clean and roomy. Ice machines not working, no big deal. Happy Hour was still expensive! Probably would stay again but would ask for different building. Staff was nice.

Everybody was very kind. The check-in person was professional. I was just startled that it was a Hilton hotel because it was sparse and okay quality. The bed had a dip in the center. And the outside part was unimpressive. The bar and dining room look nice but I was expecting a little more from the room.

We weren't able to check in until almost 8pm so we had to stay in the lobby until then. They comped some drinks for us while we wait but we'd driven all day and had to wait almost 5 hours after normal check in time. And, all the ice makers in 4 buildings were not functioning so we had to walk to the office to get ice (5 buildings away).

Unfortunately, when I reported we had a mouse in our room, there was nothing they could do about it and since we had booked this room through Expedia and I did not have a Hilton honors account, they were not able to refund or give us any kind of credit or Even provide a call from a manager and see what could be Done to compensate in anyway.

Stayed one night. Thought it would be a nice hotel due to the Hilton name and reputation. We were wrong, worst hotel of our 5 night trip and was really overpriced.The first thing that we noticed when we got to our room was that you could see daylight all around the door. It looked warped, almost like someone had tried to kick it in. The interior of the hotel room reminded me a cheap 1970's apartment minus the kitchen. Everything was tired, and the TV leaned so far forward on it's stand that we were afraid to touch it for fear it would fall over. Also, there was a rat trap outside our window., and the AC unit was super loud. We relayed the issues to the front desk when we checked out, and they were not concerned. Would not recommend, and Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name attached to this property.

It was an okay stay. Our heater smelled like mold/cigarettes. Also a group of men were at the base of the stairway smoking Marijuana. Felt uncomfortable since i did have my child with me. They were there for a good majority of the night so getting our items from the car was awkward. Also limited options for dining.

Check in was fine and first impression of room was good until sitting on bed. Realized headboard was loose and banging on the wall. Was not attached so we moved it away. Later in evening when getting ready for bed I captured a bug walking across a pillow. This was my first experience of something like this and I was shocked! My husband tried calling front desk but phone was unplugged. Plugged it in and doesn’t work! Called on cell phone and no answer four times! So husband took bug to front desk and was informed it was a local tree bug. Made me feel a little better because I was ready to leave but it was late and raining. Front desk gave us two free breakfast for inconvenience. Whoopee! I definitely did not sleep due to you know… Also the toilet ran off and on all night so that did not help. For being a Hilton hotel it needs help. Not impressed.

Somehow my reservation through Expedia was double booked. When I tried to explain to the hotel what had happened, they told me to talk to Expedia. Expedia does not make it easy to talk to them, so I emailed them. They told me to speak to the hotel which I did. So, between the hotel and Expedia, both bounced me around until I was at my wits end. The hotel finally cancelled the reservation. People were nice about it, but the run around didn't help my anxiety and stress level.

This was not a place I would return with so many other good options. We came because of the pool and the Hilton name. But the pool was in need of work - mortar falling off, inside a very hot patio, noisy fan, doors to the outside that won’t open. And this is not on par with Hilton brand name - the room was fine but smelled musty, lobby bathroom smelled terrible, no fan in the very hot workout room, and the room itself needed additional cleaning (lots of hair - on the chairs, in the corners, and in the drawers). Plus we had to repeatedly ask for things that should have been done automatically (housekeeping between 8-3, enough towels for guests, hand soap, an unlocked safe). We won’t be back.

Not the best place to stay. The carpets were not clean, I went to all of the ice machines and they were all broken. Walked to all of them. The laundry area was also out of service. Sent a message through the Hilton app and was never answered.
