The breakfast was very delicious. The egg caserole was just yummy and cheesy. The OJ was exceptionally fresh being squeezed on demand immediately before being taken to the table.
The beds were a little too soft. But we did sleep just fine.

Fantastic breakfast
Bugs in first room forced us to move to another room.

The property is stunning and very welcoming. The staff is very friendly and the breakfasts were amazing! Cannot wait to visit again! We met the other guests there and had a great evening sitting out front getting to know everyone.

The location was within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast on the beautiful patio was the perfect way to start our day. If we are ever back that direction this would be our stop for sure.

Breakfast was fresh, delicious, timely, and unique. The owner personally prepared our breakfasts with freshly baked bread and other goodies. The fruit was flavorful and plentiful, and the meal was included in our stay. Each room is different, with eclectic furnishings and styles. The owner of the inn has a wonderful back story and is delightful to talk with.
Nothing.

The property was nice and cozy.
Just as I imagined. The service was great and the breakfast in the morning was great.
The TV in the room was not working.

Quiet family hotel with very welcoming owner Peggy. She made us feel better than at home. Very caring, very gentle, she upgraded our room where we felt more comfortable and free while traveling with infant. Exclusively tasty breakfast. Wish we could spent more days at her place

Spacious beautiful rooms. historic property
up on hill no elevators so bringing up luggage a little hard

Very nice facilities, Taos typical architecture.
Not an issue for us, but better to know that there are many steps to get to rooms, and no staff to help you with luggage.
8.0
beautiful historic property. very friendly owner.
our room was so small it was uncomfortable. no space to put luggage. while I appreciate the small amenities, coffee, etc, it takes space and the room seems cluttered. other than that, the property owner is friendly and she makes a lovely and plentiful breakfast.

We loved our stay. The grounds are beautiful -- it feels like an oasis of green in the city. The New Mexico style of the room was inviting and comfortable, with extra touches like wine glasses. The daily special entree for breakfast was always good, and added a special touch. Pre-ordering breakfast worked out well -- we could get what we wanted from a varied menu. The dining area was very nice. I appreciated the workout facility and being close to the Plaza.
Our mini-fridge seemed to overheat in the cabinet and didn't get cold enough to keep food.

The breakfast was wonderful. The baked goods were fresh and homemade and the egg dishes were unique and delicious.
Our Sky room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
We had not been told that there were 16 steps up to the first floor and another 16 steps of narrow stairs to our Sky bedroom. We are 75 years old, and getting our suitcases to the room and back down was very difficult. The young man who checked us in did not offer to help.

Very charming. Great Breakfast. 3 minutes to town center, beautiful setting.

Smaller inn made for very personal service. Excellent breakfast. Easy walk to the square. Fantastic outdoor sitting areas.
One of the cleanest places I have every stayed.

Everything was fine except the room we stayed!
I don’t know how the other rooms are but, Don’t stay in the “Happy trails” room! Very cramped, very dark, not clean and there are small skinny black bugs everywhere in the room. Old nasty loveseat blocks the access to the closet? We moved to access the closet…it was dirty… and someone forgot their dirty socks in. Bathroom very small and no functional. All for only 256+tax/night!

Breakfast was fine. Location was good...an easy walk to the Taos Plaza and surrounding offerings.
Gentleman at the reception desk was not all warm or welcoming. He didn't introduce himself and barely spoke to us during the registration process and as he showed us to our room. In general, the inn is old and tired. We stayed in the Sky Room. I wouldn't recommend it if you want reasonable access to the described "balcony with a view of the mountains." The grounds are nicely kept but the inn itself is not. The price of $324 was totally unjustified.
