Everything was easy to check into our room. Parking outside. Free breakfast of cereals and yogurt plus unlimited hot drinks whenever you wished. Good communal area, nice bathroom. Only thing to improve was room had a slight staleness to it.

Hotel owner was very helpful and emailed me procedures in case I arrive late and no one is around to check me in. Free coffee and tea available 24H which I like. Small town and not many choices for eating places. Overall it was a nice stay.

We had a delightful stay at Apotek in Hofn, Iceland. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable, making for a very relaxing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the shared kitchen, which was well-equipped and convenient, and the reliable Wi-Fi, which kept us connected throughout our stay. A pleasant surprise was the coffee machine that also dispenses hot chocolate, a lovely touch that we greatly appreciated. The surrounding area is beautiful and picturesque, perfect for leisurely walks and exploration. Overall, we highly recommend Apotek for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Hofn.

We had a great stay at Apotek. It was very easy to check in, the room was super clean and the bathroom was very nice. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great! A quick stop and super happy.

Great, quiet location walkable to everything in town. Owners left the key for us for a late check-in, so it was easy to get in. However, biggest thing is that there are no screens on the windows, and while both our windows were slightly open in the nice summer weather, TONS of these little bugs got in — and while they looked like little flies, they were actually midgies that left me covered in itchy bites by morning. I’m still itching all over days later. The TV in the room also didn’t really work (had sound but no image). And the pillow cases were super rough and abrasive on my face and hair. Just not the most comfortable experience.

Though not a big guesthouse, there are everything you need for a good rest. The location is good, close to restaurants, and short walk to a park with great sea views

Good value, comfortable stay and excellent location. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, it is within walking distance to restaurants, pool and shore and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is basic with yogurt and cereal. The rooms themselves were quiet until other guests were in the breakfast area and then became loud.

No space in shower or sink for toiletries and poor design of shower allows water to spread all over bathroom floor. Sloping ceiling over bed is problematic for taller guests and makes getting in and out of bed difficult. Other than cereal, coffee and some pourable yogurt, not much choice for breakfast and guests have to supply anything additional at their own expense. Overall, it’s a good, clean and comfortable place but with basic amenities.

It was cold and raining when we arrived for a one night stay. Nice clean, cozy place to stay. Comfy bed, reading light a tad too dim. Others were staying, but it was quiet. Breakfast offered cereal, yogurts, and a variety of juices , coffees, and teas.

Lovely guesthouse, very warm, spacious room and comfortable for a night. Large lounge area and kitchen facilities to cook dinner and breakfast. Good location within walking distance of restaurants and the supermarket plus free parking on site.

Interior: rooms are nicer than exterior would present... and much nicer than lobby. Small rooms but great beds and so nice to have blackout curtains for midsummer. Very comfortable beds! Excellent shower and bathroom... Breakfast was VERY good (those breakfast cake squares were just delicious!) Great coffee, and I love the yogurt in cartons that we found at several hotels during our stay. Really appreciated the self-serve towels in closet in hallway too Nice stay

Very easy to find and clean comfortable rooms for a bargain price. Breakfast is included. The local restaurants close quite early but there is a supermarket and off licence across the road and you can use the kitchen in the guesthouse.

Clean, small accommodations that are pretty standard for the Ring Road. My only complaint was that my bed was located on the second floor near a sloping ceiling, so it was somewhat of an annoyance every time I wanted to get in or our of bed. Otherwise, a satisfying overnight stop.
