The desk staff and bartender were great, very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself feels like a budget hotel, but it’s priced too high for the quality. This was the fourth hotel we stayed in during our Mexico trip so I do understand there are different expectations here. There were several details that, if attended to, could have made our stay more convenient and comfortable. The only window to our room overlooked the main entrance and the only curtains were blackout curtains. We should have had a set of curtains that alllowed us privacy while letting natural light in. We felt like we were staying in a cave. In addition there was only one rack for towels, and no hooks or clothes line. In a beach town where everyone is needing to hang wet suits and towels there should be someplace to do that. They were also stingy with the towels. No beach towels are provided so we had to buy our own. Inside the room we were given 2 bath towels and one hand towel. That’s it. No floor mat for the slippery tile floor and no washcloths. The WiFi was sketchy occasionally and the air conditioning worked but barely. I feel that even by Mexican standards, the price was too high for the level of amenities.

Great staff, nice breakfast with additional menu items, room was clean, comfortable and quiet, great bartender with excellent cocktails, nice pool area, close to beach, walkable, safe area with restaurants nearby. Only con was very low water pressure in the shower.

Great stay very close to beach and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and food is great. Help yourself breakfast, which is not usual in Mexico.

Words cannot properly articulate the incredible experience we had at Casa De Olas. We were greeted with the beauty of the property tucked into the outskirts of the downtown area of La Punta. (Casa is walking distance to the main downtown area and beaches of La Punta). The reception area was welcoming and easy to check in to. We were escorted to our room where we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious, clean, and luxurious our room was. (And yes, the AC units are amazing ;) )Once we unpacked we traveled to the bar for some of the best poolside frozen Mojitos anyone could ever hope for (they are a dream in the frozen liquid form). The staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming to us we instantly felt like family.Next to the bar is a beautiful pool and lounge with hammocks where we spent most of our days enjoying the incredible menu where allItems are made from scratch. I recommend the burgers and homemade guacamole of course. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times on property and were never disappointed. There is also an outdoor gym and massive upstairs patio for getting your chakras aligned with some yoga overlooking the ocean. It’s a can’t miss experience once you follow it up with a massage at the spa. Most importantly, I think, is to discuss the incredible service we received at Casa De Olas. We were unequivocally broken hearted to check out on our last day. The staff became our family through our seven day stay. Their smiles, attention to detail

This was an amazing place to stay! The entire staff was the best part. Flor at reception was so accommodating and kind. She has great recommendations on food and activities in Puerto too! Chef Adamo and Monica run the kitchen and bar beautifully! The food and drinks were delicious and so fresh. Ivan and Oliver made sure breakfast was available and stocked! I loved the HIIT classes as well at the resort! My friend also really enjoyed her tennis lesson!
The entire place is clean & the housekeeping does an amazing job and it's only a minute bike ride away from the beach! I would gladly recommend this place to others! I only stayed three nights and four days and it felt like a home away from home.

Staff was awesome, everyone from the desk that greets you upon arrival and departure daily to house keeping, chef, bartender, everyone was so accommodating and friendly. They do whatever is needed to help you out. Its a small hotel and very clean. It is delightfully quiet at night. No barking dogs and no loud music after 11 pm. The 2 pools are large enough for their hotel, never crowded and is clean. Coffee pot is ready around 730 am. You can cook your own eggs with peppers, tomatoes and onions or have cold cereal, bread or yogurt that is included there. We ate delicious dinners there twice. Their bar prices are similar to other bars nearby or bring your own which is cheaper. Its a short walk to the beach and many other places to eat good food at cheap prices. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen stocked with all the utensils and cookware and items from Ikea and an Oster blender. Our suite did not have an oven but had a gas stovetop. Our large bathroom only had one small shelf for placing your things. Our king bed was comfy and the room was spacious. The 2nd bedroom did not have a closet or place for clothes, plus the 2 comfy beds in the room were small single size beds. The 3 tables beside the pool and bar allowed smoking, on a couple of occasions some also smoked in the eating area which was also a small area, this was disappointing to the majority of non smokers. We were on the ground level so morning chatter was loud
Top floor you see beautiful sunsets
