We were only there 1 night, but enjoyed the stay with our family. Dominic was super helpful with getting us connected to a local Car Rental agency.

I can’t say enough good things about Nabitubich, Dominic, and his family. A unique and wonderful experience. We met several guests there that we continued to travel with in Caye Caulker. Great food, incredible scenery, comfortable lodging, and amazing people. Don’t hesitate to stay here. We would definitely return.

The property is a wonderful taste of an old working farm. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. You can walk to the river and Xunantunich. We enjoyed the sounds of the jungle, the amazing sunsets, delicious breakfast and Dominic’s friendliness and knowledge of the area tremendously. We look forward to returning.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Nabitunich! The owners, Dominic and Rebecca, were friendly and incredibly gracious hosts and made sure we were always taken care of. The location on a farm was lovely, and it was a short walk to the clear blue river. We loved seeing the adorable dog, cows, goats, and cats. The only downside of the location is that you are not within walking distance to San Ignacio for shopping or food, however, the property can provide all meals if you ask and there are taxis. The food prepared there was authentic, delicious, and very inexpensive - a great deal. We are not the most adventurous eaters, but loved everything we ate there. We also loved the quiet nature setting and it was a beautiful property. The room was clean and we always had hot water for showers. You should remember though, that you are on a farm in Belize, so we had some spider and gecko visitors in our room that we caught and released. Overall, fantastic experience and would definitely stay again! When getting picked up for our tours, other tourists asked us how we found this property becaue it was so lovely. Truly a gem!

Soooo beautiful, owner and staff are very accommodating. Peaceful with view of Xunanitunich, old family farm. Breakfast fresh and amazing. Rooms are tiny and quaint but very comfortable . No TV but wifi is good . Saw toucans and parrots as well as lots of farm animals. Love to visit again!

everything about this place was exactly what we wanted it to be. lush, lovely, and homey. it’s a little bit out of the way but we had no issues walking or catching taxis/busses anywhere we wanted to go. we thought no ac might be kind of tough given the heat, but the ceiling fan was so powerful we were actually getting cold at night. wonderful meals and company—dominic was always able to accommodate us. plus there were hundreds of butterflies and some very darling cats and dogs around. totally would recommend staying here :)

The most spectacular experience. You can see the top of Xunantunich from the property. In fact there are still some ruins on this site. The birds definitely won’t disappoint. List to the howler monkeys and the birds on the morning. The included breakfast is superb and dinner on site is always tasty.

The host was very congenial and accommodating. I’m handicapped and he had ramp built so I could get up the steps easier. I enjoyed playing with the cats and petting the dog. Breakfasts were included and were delicious. Great value for a low price.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The hosts are incredible, the location is scenic and stunning, and the breakfast was delightful. This was our favorite stay on our trip to Belize, far outdoing much more expensive locations. The host even taught us how to find toucans! Would definitely visit again.

The property is huge with Mayan ruins on the property. They offer a ton of tours that are not listed. The views are exceptional as well as the staff. Dominic is a great host!

I loved the property and everything about it. It was peaceful and full of sweet singing birds. I cannot say enough on how hospitable Dominic and his staff were. I cannot wait to go back and stay again. It's a true gem and highly suggested for anyone to stay

Let's be clear to anybody reading this, Nabitunich is not an ordinary hotel. It's a handful of duplex rooms on a farming property which is right adjacent to the jungle. There are howler monkeys that make noises throughout much of the night and the roosters will crow whenever they feel like it. The road from the main highway is about one kilometer and is bumpy and rocky. You will dodge goats and sheep as you traverse the dirt road. However, once you get there, Dominic will treat you as an honored guest. While he still must tend to his farmwork, he makes himself available at all times throughout the day, and if you hang out in the communal cabin at night, he loves to talk about anything and everything, including providing advice and travel suggestions. The rooms he provides are comfortable, but certainly not luxurious. They are precisely what they need to be and Dominic will respond to any simple maintenance requests. My wife and I spent a full week here and were very happy with our stay. Dominic and his assistant, Marta, will also be happy to cook breakfast or dinner each day for a very affordable price. The food is excellent quality for a home cooked meal and frankly better than many of the local restaurants we tried. If I ever have occasion to return to San Jose Succotz (or San Ignacio), I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I will recommend it to any of my friends as well (so long as they can deal with the farm life atmosphere).

Fantastic place very close to the Xunatunich ruins. The accommodations are rustic, but comfortable and sufficient. The drive from the main road can be a bit rough, but worth the effort. Dominic was extremely friendly and accommodating. We needed to leave earlier than breakfast is normally served, but he was fully accommodating. The views and surroundings were simply amazing.

Very rustic experience. Not your typical resort or hotel. But worth every moment of it! It was a nice break from the typical hotel experience. The views were amazing. It was very quiet and relaxing being away from the city. It felt like we were far from the city, but it was still a very convenient location. you could hear monkeys and see beautiful birds. The sunset from their property was spectacular. The room was beautiful and clean. It was the cleanest and most beautifully organized room that we had stayed in during our entire time in Belize. Dominic, the owner, really made us feel at home. The service was welcoming, and we had a wonderful time talking to him during dinner and during breakfast. A very worldly man and very smart. He really made us feel like we were staying with family. The food was delightful. We didn't have a car, so we walked to and from the cabins to the highway. But once we were at the highway, it was easy to pick up a taxi. I'm definitely making an effort to stay here again when we return to Belize.

We liked that the property was secluded, quiet, and peaceful. The room amenities were excellent- the personal touches such as the fresh flowers, coffee and tea, cookies (kids loved them), and water in the rooms were a nice touch. Definitely need the fans- it can get quite hot during the dry season. However, we did find at least 12 ticks on us from walking in the grass though. It would be nice to warn guests of the ticks and note how tiny they are in Belize- they are difficult to see. However, the breakfast was EXCELLENT!! Everything you needed was there. Internet was good- although you have to go to the main reception area. For check-in we had to search for someone to check us in and show us to our rooms. We thought that place was deserted when we showed up. There was enough parking space to get our truck in and out of the parking lot and a vehicle is definitely recommended to get around as the area is quite secluded. The hosts even accommodated my service dog, which was a blessing as in Belize, not many people will allow service dogs into accommodations or dining facilities. Growing up on a farm, we found that the stay was what we needed. If you like the outdoors, quite, tranquility, and a peaceful setting, this is your place to stay. I had two children with me and they loved seeing the farm animals and the location was ideal.
