Checkin was a disaster

Very easy check in and out, host is very helpful, prompt reply, and reliable, in a place like this this is extremely important.
The room is just as picture very pretty, clean, the hot tub on the balcony is very good too.
As a room itself there’s absolutely no problem.
The dealbreaker is the internet. It’s to a point that’s unusable. You need to wait for 30s to open a text email. The area does not have good phone signals, at the area close to the front door it may work, on the bed, absolutely no, but also the Wi-Fi is very slow. I think they do no understand how import it is, especially for people who needs to be able to take care of work or you didn’t have a travel schedule setup and want to do it in the hotel, this is not the place for you.
The location is problematic too, the taxi driver the previous hotel hired for me refused to drive to the front door, because he said the road is too narrow for his car, he would only drop me off at the other side and I have to drag my luggages through the hills and rocky stairs for about 500m. Without suitcases it maybe an interesting and exotic experiences, but with suitcases it’s a nightmare. And when you click call the property it doesn’t go to the host but the headquarter in Athen, that the driver tried to call.
I am sure if you’re local and speak the language it may be able to resolve, but if you’re foreigner, it’d be much more difficult and a headache. I think it’s a shame that a good apartment? Airbnb? (they do not have a front desk or reception desk) has these 2 serious issues that both could be a dealbreaker.
Very unfortunately I have to give it a 6 because the wifi issue creates a lot of issue for me to take care my job, and I cannot work around by using my phone data either (in an area without good phone signal it’s really crucial to provide people with stable and good internet) even though I truly appreciate the room design, view, experience, the host and everything. Internet is just too important.

We had the room with the outdoor tub and it was absolutely beautiful, we spent the whole night in it. Beautiful views over the old village. Huge terrace, the room was clean and beautiful. Walking distance to supermarket and a few food places. Would definitely recommend staying here.
The secluded location can be problematic if you want to go into the main towns in the evening as taxis can be very expensive in Santorini.

Just an amazing place, it had everything we wanted for our short stay. Beautiful and in a quiet area, incredible restaurant / café 3 mins away! The manager was super sweet and helpful!

I loved the room, the jacuzzi, the views, and the quiet, quaint, centrally located village. Santorini is beautiful, but some of the seriously spectacular villages on the island are very busy. They were easily accessed from centrally-located Acave by bus (though we rented a vehicle for part of our stay), but it was so nice to return to our quiet little village and lovely comfortable suite where we could just relax and enjoy the scenery. I can't wait for our next trip to Santorini! We will definitely stay here again.
Leaving was terrible! I still dream of being back there.

Stayng at Acave suites allows you to discover one of the few traditional villages in Santorini. Far from the crowds of the cruises you can relax in a unexpected environment made of traditional cave houses, white churches, narrow streets, flowers, beautiful countryside, wonderful nature. The best experience I had was to walk from the house early in the morning along a wonderful valley path above the village full of olive trees, pomegranates and prickly pears, while hawks and many other birds were flying above the steep volcanic escarpments.
The suite is very well organised with everything you need. New and clean and every little detail is very cared for. It is an old restored cave house transformed in a modern and functional accommodation with a perfect taste. We stayed in the top Santo suite: it has a spacious terrace with a beautiful view on the village below and the small valleys around. The hot tub located in a small cave on the terrace is perfect for a relaxing bath at sunset after a busy day in Oya. thanks to the property which with its enlightened vision is saving a priceless heritage of the island. This is the type of sustainable tourism that we need to have a better future.
Nothing to say. Our stay was perfect

I was pleased to find the apartment looking exactly like the pictures provided on the website. The room included all necessary amenities and the private "outdoor cave whirlpool" definitely gave my evenings that little extra level of holiday feeling. Although located in a calmer part of the island, the close-by town has everything you might need for a comfortable stay in the apartment (super markets, pharmacy, food places, etc.). The general area is great for enjoying picturesque walks through wineries and to explore some small older towns. There is a beach close-bye and also that typical blue and white Santorini buzz known from postcards is only a short drive away (<30min to Oia, <15min to Firá). If I am travelling to Santorini again I'll definitely stay at Acave Santorini Suites again.

Perfect location, perfect room, perfect view, and excellent hosts. We loved that Acave is situated in Vothon that is not crazy busy with tourists. We had lovely, quiet mornings and evenings, a wonderful view, and a great stay overall. Loved the jacuzzi... Our host, Fay, was welcoming and most helpful in making our stay comfortable with tips about restaurants and cafes.
We only have one minor complaint: The superior suite is stated in the website to have a kitchenette but in fact it only has a fridge and a sink. While this is not a big deal, we were planning on using a stove to heat up food for our child, so this was a little confusing. Apart from that, everything was excellent.

It was an amazing hotel, it’s new and the immenities are nice. Smelled brand new inside!
The only issue would be the location, it’s a bit isolated and in a village. you have to walk about 15 minutes to get a taxi on the main road. Also, the air conditioner was good but the room is down some stairs and the air does not circulate so we were sweating. it’s super hot in august and it was really bad sweating. the hosts were super accommodating and really nice, which made it amazing. the price was also decent but we spent a lot on taxis going to and from the hotel, but I guess that’s typical in santorini as it’s so expensive.
