Other things to note
Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of the cabins in the area will have a higher elevation than this. This means that these roads will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!
The last half mile to the cabin has a narrow, gravel road.
There are 2 security cameras on the property. The first one is over the front porch and the second is on the Pond Overlook. They are there for the protection of the property while unoccupied and to monitor the health and safety of the fish in the pond.
Hot Tub Rules:
1. No children are permitted in hot tub without adult supervision.
2. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.
3. Our cleaners sanitize and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival.
4. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement.
5. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.

We were very pleased. This is more than the cookie cutter cabin that you sometimes find in the mountains. Older ( with great character) and very well maintained. Great amenities, exceptional and unique water features and room for almost any size group.
We loved it.

This house is everything it claims to be and more! Super clean and a lot of space to relax including three porches. We appreciated the extra touches throughout and the well-equiped kitchen. The directions to the house were very accurate and helpful! Having everything on one floor, easy-entry access (few steps)and the large, flat backyard was especially nice. The fish pond was fun and sitting on the side porch listening to the creek was so relaxing. This is one house to which you'll want to return!

Don't look any further!!! This is an absolute gem!!! The cabin is stocked with anything you may need, from pots and pans and spices to the most comfortable bed we have slept in away from home!!!!
Jenny and Ryan answered any questions we had and very promptly. We lost our code and she emailed it to me right away. The view is spectacular and the only time we were in the house was to sleep. Listening to the small waterfall was heavenly. The trout pond was a treat for our 2 year old grandson. Won't stay anywhere else, we will be back!!! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!!

Great surprise with the hot tube. The property is breath taking. Owners were very gracious. We definitely would stay here again. If you have more than 7 people you may want to bring extra towels and wash clothes. Over all we are very pleased with it all... highly recommend...

We absolutely loved our stay at Laurel Lodge! The property is gorgeous, and the cabin is a perfect combination of rustic style and modern amenities.
The wifi has a strong connection and we had no trouble streaming on both tvs and multiple devices. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds/bedding are very comfortable.
The new hot tub was a welcome surprise and we were happy to take advantage.
Very highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. We had more than enough room for the five of us and our dog. We really enjoyed the hike up to the waterfall that was suggested by the homeowners. The property is very beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend.

This property was very peaceful, the sounds of the creeks rushing past the property and the small pond out front made for great memories with the family.

We had a wonderful time staying here!
Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy this beautiful cabin. Christmas lights and tree made our stay especially cozy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the best time and the house was beautiful. The owners were so helpful and responded quickly when we needed to reach out to them. The house was clean. We didn’t get to enjoy much of the outdoor life around the property minus the covered porch because it rained almost the whole time we were there other then 1 afternoon/night and the day we were leaving but we still enjoyed it so much and our 2 year old had a great time playing with the games puzzles books and toys that were there. We went only to do the polar express but also spent a lot of time shopping around downtown which isn’t but like a 15 min drive. But I will say when you do take your food and drinks because YOU ARE IN THE MOUNTAINS so 6 miles is a 15/20 minute ride so to run out and grab food to go every meal isn’t the best option. We cooked and ate out at night when we went into town. Jimmy mac downtown is a MUST! Yummy food!!

We stayed a week at Laurel Lodge. This is by far the best VRBO we have rented. The house is very clean and spacious, with everything you need except food. Phone service is a bit limited, but you can stay in touch using the internet. We loved watching football on Saturday on the Roku TV.
As someone with a failed back fusion, I can honestly say the bed in the master was a dream and with the windows open you can hear the creek. The other bedrooms/bathrooms were also very comfy and well appointed.
The property has a large gated back porch with a beautiful mountain view and leads to a firepit, grill and large backyard. The front has a small gated porch where you can enjoy the sound of the pond and nearby creek.
The owners were readily available for questions during our stay and it is obvious they want their guests to have a wonderful stay.
Thank you for use of the cabin. We will be back!

We stayed the weekend at Laurel Lodge and had a wonderful time. The kids room with bunk beds, books and toys were perfect for my young girls. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great house and property. The waterfall hike was challenging, especially for my 3 yr old but worth it in the end. Thanks for a great weekend.

We stayed 2 nights in the cabin and it was great. The cabin was very clean, they had everything we needed to make a couple home cooked meals, communication was great and the view was spectacular. We would definitely stay here again. Our whole group loved feeding the fish in the pond.

I loved the house. It was very beautiful and had plenty of room. I only wish it would have had a jacuzzi. But the cleanliness and spacious rooms made up for that. Even though my kids are grown they have always been water babies give them a pool or a jacuzzi and they don’t want to go anywhere else.

Booked this cabin last minute for a mini getaway with my partner and it didn't disappoint! The views are absolutely incredible and the cabin is so cozy and inviting. Jenny & Ryan were easy to communicate with and super responsive to any questions I had. I'm already dreaming about when I can get back there!
