About this house rental
Remodeled home on the Intracoastal canal with pool and water views! The sunsets are amazing! Cook up your daily catch for friends & family in the "over the top" backyard entertainment space. Complete with a private pool - this will be the go to spot for friends and family! There is NO boat dock and we do not allow boats in the water behind the house.
The interior of this newly renovated home is ready for your arrival! The kitchen is bright, airy, and stocked with everything you need to prepare your family's meals. 4 bedrooms and a relaxation room with day-bed and workspace mean there is ample room to spread out. When you are ready to come together, there is a fun outdoor gathering place near the pool that is sure to be a memory maker for your family. Our home is situated on the quieter, southern end of Anastasia Island and private beach walk-over.
The beach is just a short 2 minute drive away.
The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!
The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!
Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. The pool heater thermostat is set to a temperature between 78 and 85 degrees F, depending on the time of the year. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. Our pool technician comes on Tuesdays to check the chemicals and Fridays to clean. Our lawn/landscape professional comes on Wednesdays. These dates are subject to change based on weather or other factors, but in general that is when they are scheduled.
The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.
Per St Johns County regulations, only ten people are allowed per rental, not counting children 12-years-old or younger. That means this property is allowed up to 10 adults and the rest of the guests must be 12 and under.

We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.
EV Charging: There is a fee of $5 per day if you will be charging an electric vehicle at the home.

This isn't 5 star lodging. The place isn't perfect. It makes up for that in the pricing, charm, location and amenities. We had a blast. Swimming, fishing, relaxing and exploring. Highly recommend this place

We were all happy with our stay in St. Augustine. The house had a lot of room inside and out. The beds were very comfortable for everyone. The AC worked great and there were plenty of ceiling fans in each room. The couches comfortable. Both showers had the best water pressure I think I've ever experienced. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool which was small but nice. There is beach access close to the home, but still a little too far for us to walk to. We were dropped off at the boardwalk which led to a beach area that was not crowded. The city is in process of putting in a pedestrian crosswalk at this beach access which is needed due to the high traffic volume.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The property manager was very prompt in responding to our questions about light switches and the issue was taken care of the next day.
The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to historic Saint Augustine
and plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.
We even had the opportunity to meet the owners! Super nice people.
If we are ever looking to stay in St. Augustine again, we will definitely see if this property is available.

This place had everything we needed for an amazing week in Florida. We shared it with my sister’s family. (4 adults, 5 kids ages 7-17, and 2 dogs). The canal was gorgeous and we loved the pool and whole ambiance of the outdoor space. Thai was our second stay in one of David and Pattie’s places and we plan to rent again from the same hosts next year!

Very nice, clean and had everything you would need. The pool was clean and it was so nice to sit by the canal and visit. Unfortunately I got sick and had to leave a day early. Would love to come back and enjoy again!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunbather house. The house was comfortable and came equipped with more than we were expecting. Kids loved the pool (although smaller than expected) and we enjoyed the outdoor area overlooking the inlet. One family took the top floor and one took the bottom. Beach access is a short 2 min. drive away. The house was clean and the pool and yard were well-maintained.

The overall property was clean. The back deck/pool area was pretty relaxing and the neighborhood was fairly quiet, which we liked. The house is close to the beach and theres plenty nearby to do.

We had a great time during our stay. There were plenty of rooms to fit our large family, including a couple of nieces and nephews. The distance to the beach was short and the access to the canal for fishing was perfect for my guys. The pool was great for relaxing later in the day. The property managers were just a text away and were great at answering any questions we had.

First of all the convince of checking in was perfect. If you’re running early you can call and get a early check in but in our case we was running behind and when we arrived I had problems checking in(my fault Not theirs 9 hour drive and we were tired) and I made a phone call and she answered the phone on second ring to help me get inside and stayed on the phone until we got inside the house.
The house was perfect inside and out. Very spacious. Fully stocked kitchen. I have a travel keurig but didn’t need it. Everything was there. The entire house was clean including the outside pool area.
I had a problem with the cable but it didn’t last more than a hour. The owners, property manager made it seem like a 911 emergency. They were on top of it with just one phone call. I wish I could say something negative so we can make sure the house will be available for us because we will be back in a few months😂😂😂. On the side note. I caught 4 flounders and a dozen catfish. And I just had a rod out while we were in the pool. We were there to relax and the neighborhood was super quiet. I’ve stayed in a lot of places but this property by far get 10 out of 10 stars.

I think you guys get it….. this property can’t get any better.
I could go on about how great this property, owners, and property manager are but just book it and find out how great they are…..

We had a great time here. The rooms are nice. The living room/dining/kitchen area was a great place to hang out. Our favorite place to hang out was the pool area!! We did bring a few beach chairs. They have two pool lounge chairs but the other chairs in the back are for the table so they aren’t really for lounging. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be coming back!

Nice property for a large group. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and it was the perfect size for us. The pool was great. Only complaints was no fishing or beach supplies but that was clearly stated. It would have been nice to have those provided (beach chairs for example). Great location by beautiful Crescent Beach!

The house is nice overall, it does need a little TLC on the curve appeal and first floor. The second floor is beautiful. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. My family and I had a great time during our stay.

Where do I begin, the home was so clean! There were no stained or frayed linens. Same with the furniture. All the kitchen supplies we in great shape. And the showers were better than ours at home!
Next, the backyard was the bomb! We loved the pool and the temperature of the pool! All the neighbors thought we were nuts until they found out the pool was heated. Well, they still might have thought we were nuts. 😉 Afterall, we were in it every day! The canal is very cool to see as the tide goes in and out. But we were very happy we never had to pull our pup out of it.
The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt very safe there. There were lots of people walking with dogs or by themselves. Everyone waved and were lovely. The road dead ends. So there is no reason to go there unless you were staying there.
The owners were so quick to respond to any question or concern. That was so appreciated.
Finally St. Augustine Beach and St. Augustine were amazing. We were so close to everything yet not in a busy area. Every beach was better than the next!
We will be back and we would definitely rent from his bunch again!

This house was in a quiet area with a beautiful outdoor space. The pool and outdoor eating/entertainment area were beautiful. We had a great weekend grilling and drinking wine around the fire pit.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house/living area is updated, kitchen is very well equipped, king bed is very comfortable, pool is wonderful. I missed the fact that the house is upstairs living and with recent illness the stairs were a challenge but that was a small thing and we had a lovely stay here that went by too quickly!

We spent the majority of the time outside and it was perfect!!!! The pool was very clean, the canal was so much fun for fishing, the barbecue is charcoal not gas just FYI, the bar area was perfect to hide in the shade or sit outside at the table in the afternoons. The house is well equipped with all you need for a care free vacation, towels and pool powels were enough for all, kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals.
Very relaxing and very happy family vacation! We would absolutely return to this rental!!!
