Room was very nice, clean. You can find everything you want. The host was very helpful. Breakfast was good enough.
I was staying not ground floor, the stair was a bit narrow. If your suitcase is super big, it would be hard to carry.
4.0
The room was comfortable, though we did not spend much time there. Breakfast was very basic, but good enough. Had we appreciated that the facilities of the kitchen, we would probably have taken some of our own cereals.
The council parking limitations meant that we could not park in the street by the property. The owner (?) said that council have been making it more difficult to buy temporary parking permits. We ended up parking some distannce away and having to walk to the car.

It was neat
It wasn’t very clean and the drainage in the bathroom was poor, it almost flooded. You can only have a very quick shower.
4.5
The location is a bit difficult for me, I just manage, otherwise everything great!
The breakfast was a bit short the 1st day, no orange juice. By the 2nd morning there was a bit of orange juice available , not much left, I wonder if some of the guests were drinking it during the day due to the heat

Bed was comfy and I liked it had an ensuite.
3.5
Clean, comfortable, warm, mostly quiet, secure.
It does what it says, it's trying to be a home from home.
Parking permits supplied for overnight (2pm-10am), 8am-2pm permits available to purchase if needed, at £5.
I missed the option to make tea/coffee in my room, separately to having to go downstairs to the kitchen.
I heard the other guests (longer term residents), but never saw anyone.
Hostess was responsive on messenger, for queries e.g. when I ran out of milk re breakfast, but remote. I didn't see another human for the duration of my stay and whilst some may find this appealing, it felt isolating and lacking in human contact for me personally (single guy, lives by self).
4.0
Clean, tidy and warm. Also comfortable bed and good shower. Once we had sorted out the door access we found it really good.
The stairs are very steep with a narrow tread. The sink in our bedroom was too small to have a shave!

The property is one on a quiet one way street of terraced houses set back from the main road. Inside it has had a full makeover and is bright, newly plastered and decorated and spotlessly clean There are a selection of inexpensive and friendly take-away type restaurants with eat in facility and we had an excellent t Indian meal only a couple of hundred yards from our room
To be honest we were expecting the hosts to be hosting and for it to be more of a B&B type arrangement with the hosts living at the property. We were also expecting “parking” as in somewhere allocated to park - not just a voucher for on street parking, as there was a mix up and we did not receive the message sent same day by the host. However our phone call was answered immediately . As we had put parking in a filter I did expect off street parking so that was not a good first impression

It was great - it felt like staying in Sonia's home and was extremely comfortable.
3.5
Very clean, nicely furnished. Had put thought into details and finishing touches.
It was very noisy at night, which can't be helped in a busy street and there was full occupancy. A fan in the room would be a good idea , then you could close windows.

Hard to park had to walk a little way, very noisy bed but on the whole good

Sonia is a lovely lady I have realy enjoyed her company over the last few days felt as though I’d known her for ages although we only met on Friday by staying in one of her rooms I have booked to come back a couple more times
Next time I will need the downstairs room due to me struggling with the stairs if I’d have known there was a ground floor room I’d have booked it but as I said I’ve had a wonderful stay I would like to mention one thing that I think may help I felt that kettles could be in the bedrooms so the guest could make drinks whilst in there rooms just a suggestion but a fully equipped kitchen was down stairs it was something I could have done with as I found it so difficult keep going up and down the stairs to make a drink but defernately not a criticism
4.5
Simplicity and price.
Organisation in the breakfast area
The room is very small (but adequate)

Really liked it!

Clear instructions for accessing property.
Stairs quite steep for someone with limited mobility.

Sonia was v friendly and helpful during our stay. She had obviously done a lot of work to make the house work for B&B guests. We had access to her well equipped kitchen and there was a mini dining table and chairs. She was happy for us to bring in takeaways and provided a parking permit included in the price. The ensuite is v modern, if small, with good shower. The mattress was comfy.
Broken headboard on bed. No curtains to window despite being downstairs, straight out to street and bright streetlamp just outside. The Venetian blinds provided privacy but no protection from the light.
My husband didn't sleep and was ill the next day, which spoilt our visit to family as we couldn't go out for a meal as planned. We couldn't sit up in bed due to broken headboard and the tiny room provided no where else. Sonia did try to rectify these problems, so in the end we stuck tin foil on the window with sellotape. Unfortunately, the kitchen and lounge dinner smelt of cat. Though said cat was v quiet and friendly.

The entire purpose of my stay was good. Clean facilities, good range of cereal for breakfast, great host.
I cannot report any issues or dislikes.

The room was quite light at night from the street lights, better blinds would solve this.

Excellent for a one-night stay. Clean room freshly decorated. Beautiful but tiny modern bathroom. Parking permit included. Simple help-yourself breakfast.

Back of the bed bends, concern about breaking it.

Lovely to stay in someone’s home, Sonia was a great host even letting me chat to her and say hello to the cat! Wish I could have stayed the 2 nights as I had originally planned but it ended up only being the one due to a work event!
The room was cosy & cute with services nearby & there were services in the kitchen I could use as well. This is definitely the best home stay b&b I’ve stayed at! Much better than a travelodge!!
Nothing to mention
