Good location for this old town

Comfy bed and great linen. Loved the little touch of a comfy bathrobe and great bathroom fixtures.

Gives you the perfect experience of an historical town. Outside is what you expect of an old town, but the inside was very clean, updated unique to make you feel like you have traveled back in time. Quiet and very comfortable beds!

Loved my stay at the Midnite Sun!.The hotel is quite lovely and our room was very clean and well maintained.
My only note would be that if you're looking for someplace quiet this may not be for you. We were entertained by all the people streaming in and out of the bars until all hours of the morning.
I would stay here again for sure.

At first, we thought the Midnight Sun was good. Beds are super comfy, though the pillows were way too soft.
However, our room did not have any hot water!
When they couldn't fix the problem until after we were to check out in the morning, the hotel said they would give us a partial refund, but we had to process it through Expedia, which was a pain to get an answer from a real person! In the end, the hotel only refunded $22. It didn't seem enough for the hassle of getting the refund processed, and for 3 of us to have had to deal with freezing cold showers!

Very good service

The inner decoration attracted me, but the living experience is not very comfortable. The found insulation is awful that I can clearly hear every second word from my neighbour's room, and I guess so did they. There is an air-condition fan in the room, this is good, but the fan was put beside the head of the bead which is really noisy. We only stay here for one night, and then move to another hotel. Honestly, the room is nice but I couldn't sleep.

We really like the unique interior design and the use of the Gold Rush decor
Would be great if there was front desk staff on site,to greet guests.

What a great hotel. When you enter the lobby, it looked like an old hotel from the gold rush, but once you got to your room, it was clean and modern. So cool. The bed was very comfortable. We highly recommended this hotel.

Dawson city is unique. The hotel was clean and comfortable

Great location. Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. A little bit of a hassle having to check into a different hotel for the key or ice or any issues, but that was fine as long as it wasn’t raining. No restaurant in the hotel but the upside was there weren’t a bunch of tourists.

The property was central within Dawson City. Guarantee Check in was 3. We arrived at 5 pm and our room wasn't ready, so the put us in a different room. I suspect a smaller room as it did not have the laptop desk as advertised. And the room was so small, there was no way they could fit a laptop desk and chair in the room. I brought this up at the front desk and someone was to connect with me and this didn't happen. We stayed two nights, and the cleaners did a very poor job cleaning our room. I think they only made our bed. Our coffee cups were not washed, etc.

Nice hotell, maybe best i town.!

Disappointed at check in to find no breakfast available at the sister hotel next door until August. Clean, pleasant room, kindly staff. Key card was "accidentally deleted" by receptionist one day and took some time to fix. Stayed 4 nights, but no hot water 3 days out of 4!!! Enough said. Not recommended.

Quick check in. Building does not look like much from the outside, but the lobby has been restored to look ok as if it stepped out of the late 1800s. The rooms are ultra modern and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Walking distance to all attractions and convenient parking right across the street. Highly recommend if visiting Dawson.

At first it seemed weird to not have a front desk at this hotel and instead have to use the front desk at neighbor hotel, but it ended up being just fine. The hotel was recently renovated and we were quite pleased overall.

They were having issues with the outside door key and the female bartender in the hotel was extremely rude. Other than that it’s a good option for Dawson.

The front desk staff was excellent. The cleaner did not change my sheets in 4 days( maybe I was supposed to ask her to?) She gave me a lot of towels.

I wasn’t sure at first… first impression and all. It does have a rustic look from the outside, and the main entrance is quite historic, but rooms are very nice and clean. It was great to have the sister hotel The Downtown right next door. Great food!! And we did the sour toe challenge! Within walking distance of everything. Great stay!!!

Nice surprise

Did not like the fact that the rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. Will need to pack lighter for the next visit.

Rooms were definitely nice, lobby unique and stunning. Check in was at a nearby hotel. Appreciated the hotel shuttle, although our group almost got bumped despite pre-booking it before our travels. It would have been nice to know, however, that our room was directly above the bar downstairs, which featured a karaoke night the second night of our stay. It was so loud we were able to sing along with each song, for 4 whole hours. Impossible to sleep before 11:30, so if quiet is your thing, this place isn’t for you. Lots of street noise/hallway noise as well.

The only thing I did not like was the lack of proper ventilation on the bathroom. Loved the Nespresso coffee, but it would have been better to include cream and sugar. Loved the lobby!

Place is nicely finished on the inside, downside there is a nice coffee maker but no sugar or creamer to go with it! Would have been nice to have complimentary water in the fridge considering the cost of hotel room was close to $300 and all stores etc in town are closed by 7pm!

This an old historical property. The room was small and clean. The only way to get fresh air into the rom was the AC unit as you could not open the window. The AC unit was very noisy every time it cut in which woke us throughout the night.
