Superb

It was near to both beaches and walking distance to the train station. I also like they provided beach toys which was very good and the children were so happy to take them to the beach. The host was very accommodating to our personal needs as one of the children is austic. He really loved the place and settle down very quickly.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed mattress in the main bedroom. That's just a personal opinion due to me having back problems.

There wasn’t a small freezer compartment which we needed to help store cool packs for medication when travelling but not hosts fault as they didn’t know this but now I know to check for this in the future as I took for granted.

Disappointed as it did not reflect what we saw on the website.

The location was ok for our visit and what we had planned.

It was clear that the accommodation had not been cleaned properly for a long time. There were cobwebs on just about every window. Woodwork and mirrors faces were very dusty. Bedside tables and bedroom furniture had not been cleaned. Cooking equipment was very poor, we had to clean everything before using it. On top of this, there were, and probably still are, several dead moths in the main bedroom and bathroom. Although the property is dated, it could be so much better with some tlc.

Lovely apartment, great location. We would happily stay there again.

Lovely homey feel to the apartment and the living area was more spacious than it had appeared on the photos. Lots of nice little touches around the apartment. Communication with the host was great and she kindly offered a slightly later check out which was very much appreciated. Easy walk to the main beach and town. Free off street parking made the whole stay feel very easy. We would definitely return!

Fantastic flat in a great location. Just far enough away from the main beach area to be quiet but a very short walk there. Both bedrooms get morning sun and are bright and well decorated. The hosts were also accommodating to a few changes in the booking and were there to welcome us on arrival and share some tips on where to go.

We did need to re-wash the cutlery when we arrived, but that was the only issue with cleanliness. The metal frame bed in second bedroom is a bit squeaky.

no parking, slightly awkward arrangement with the other flats, felt like going up and down stairs would disturb everyone, could have a better mattress and smoother bedding sheet

Helpful hosts but extremely unclean.

I liaised with the hosts over messages and they were very accommodating and helpful - offering flexible check-in times since we were travelling with our baby. The layout of the flat was great, with a spacious and airy main bedroom.

Unfortunately the flat was very unclean, which made our stay quite unpleasant. There was food and dirt on the surfaces and carpet and even some rubbish left under the dining table. I’ve since seen that another reviewer who stayed immediately before us had the same issues, meaning the property had been in this state for multiple visitors. This made us question whether the beds/towels had been changed and made us very uncomfortable. The kitchen counter and bathroom sink/toilet had been cleaned, but this was the extent of the cleaning - other areas had what looked like months’ worth of dirt on them. It was such a shame as this flat has potential to be a lovely place, but the level of uncleanliness was simply unacceptable as a paying guest, especially since we were with our inquisitive toddler.

Disappointing accommodation..... would avoid.

Nice size flat Quiet location 10min walk from central Margate

the surrounding area was litter strewn and unwelcoming ( not the owners fault of course ) the stairwell up to the flat was dirty and had not been vacuumed. the lounge and main bedroom had not been vacuumed The kitchen worksurfaces were dirty there was food in the fridge from a previous guest.. or tenant. the microwave was not clean big cobwebs in main bedroom The metal bedframe in the 2nd room creaked every time I moved the décor needs refreshing and furniture is mismatched / vert dated and could really do with being replaced. there was no effort in making the flat welcoming or appealing

quiet spot in the heart of Margate’s attraction … ten minutes walk from the super Old Town

great location …. quiet spot overlooking the bay … tucked between the Nayland Rock and the old Sea Bathing hospital …. excellent free parking

suggest …. grab handle in bath/shower … and larger bath towels

Nice break away from the city

Overall a very nice stay, the host met me at the property slightly before check in time to accomodate me as I was traveling with 2 children. Beautiful location, you can see the sea from the kitchen window, and the beach is literally at your door step.

I would say cleanliness wasn't the best, generally ok but visible dust and some dead insects on the windows. There were some nails coming out from the floor, and only one roll of industrial tissue paper (not toilet paper) for the 4 of us and 2 nights.

I was extremely disappointed and felt I'd been conned!

The location was awful! We were intercepted half way to the apartment by the host and taken into a property that was streets away from our destination! We were struck dumb! Contacted host but still no reply!

The apartment I booked and paid for was with a panaramic sea view in a quiet area but instead we were given an apartment on a busy main road, heavy traffic and slight sea view between other buildings at the back of the property!
