Beautiful location and also very close to the main area. Staff were very friendly and made our joy extra special.
Nothing major to note.

The staff were courteous, friendly and attentive. These days it’s rare to receive such attentive service from staff, even at top-quality hotels. I’m glad the staff at this hotel still adhere to providing high quality service.
The food service was also excellent. We had the crab dinner course and it was so much food, all delicious and served immaculately. Our room was spacious and had everything you need, and there are baths available at the hotel too :)
It’s a bit of a walk to the station and center of town, but it’s not a big problem unless you have a lot of bags. My mother struggled a bit when walking to the station to catch our train.

Initially, I read some reviews mentioning this is an old hotel, while it seems that they have renovated the interior and both the room and dining area look fine. The staff speaks English although it may be more convenient to communicate with them in Japanese on some occasions. If you have ordered dinner, remember to keep your stomach empty. We came in winter and really enjoyed the seasonal crab meal with endless dishes of snow crabs cooked in different ways. The hotel is also very close to the train station. So you can simply walk there from the train station even with your luggage.
Compared to dinner, breakfast is less impressive. The price is not cheap, but it is also expected given Kinosaki Onsen is a popular tourist spot.

The staff went above and beyond. The moment it started raining the hotel send out the driver to loan us 3 umbrellas. The hotel also offers a driver to take you to the 7 public onsens. Very relaxing. We had a Japanese style room which I don’t find very comfortable, but my skinny friend said the futons were fine. We had the most luxurious breakfast I’d ever had. Very tasty.
I’m not a fan of Japanese style rooms but our skinny friend said it was fine.

離車站算不遠,並且有free shuttle service ,職員非常之有禮親切,房屋清潔,店內溫泉也不差於當地名勝温泉♨️👍🏻

The staff was very friendly! I even got a small gift for my birthday. The room we had was Japanese style with futon bedding. It was nice and large. Less than 10 min walk from the train station and they gave us a ride back to the station the next day. They also gave us a ride to the farthest Onsen.

Great service! The luggage was brought to the room in advance. The guest room is spacious and equipped with an air purifier, making it very comfortable to sleep in. They also provided hot water, cold water, and some snacks. The large glass windows offered a relaxing view of the mountains across. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant embodied the essence of kaiseki cuisine. The tableware and service were also meticulously prepared. I will choose this hotel again next time.

I love the food, but the portion for dinner was a bit too much while breakfast was a little too little.

staff barely speaks English. but they are very cute they trying to communicate through some kind of translating machine. hotel kinda old but in good maintenance. bed is comfy and the room is so authentic.
You can book private onsen at the place with extra charges but not expensive.
kinda takes time from the station but you can walk. They don't have the dinner nor breakfast which I think it's because of the Covid new policy

We were extremely disappointed with the hotel. We had an issue with the train and were supposed to arrive later, but we texted them and they replied 7 hours later 😣 and I had to text them more than once to have a response. And at the end they didn’t even reply to my last messages. Same thing happened the days before going, I texted them regarding the meals and never replied. After waiting some time for the response we decided to cancel our trip to the onsen.
