Light, airy, spacious, double aspect room. Very peaceful location. Distant views over the village to Exmoor and Bristol Channel.
No evening meal available within walking distance as no pub open in village or nearby.

The location was better than we expected very clean and quiet, the choice of breakfast was plentiful and served to our table hot with our hosts making us feel at home.

There is nothing not to like about staying here. The friendly welcome, helpful info on the local area, super comfy beds, spacious room, modern bathrooms, the most amazing breakfast. There is nothing the owners will not do, nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect, quiet and relaxing with a spectacular view (especially if you have the main room at the front).

The location so tranquil and peaceful the property immaculate and our host very friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent both from getting to places locally but also peaceful location of property and the wonderful views from our room. Easy access to places to eat in the evening but advise book in advance as very popular
Nothing everything about the week was great.

The views were fantastic.
The breakfast was really good, especially Eric's pancakes! (Sorry Eric, I know you don't like cooking them, but they are excellent)
The stewed fruit from the garden.
The local knowledge of Kay and Eric.
The dark skies and solitude at night.
Plenty of restock tea, coffee and biscuits to help yourself from.
Watching the robot cut the grass.
The long-life milk made the drinks taste tangy.
The garden furniture needed wiping down before we could sit out.

very comfy bed, the location was great
we couldn’t stay there for longer

High standard of cleanliness & comfort. Quality decor, furnishings & linen. Breakfasts were fabulous with plenty of choice, quality ingredients with fruits from the garden & cooked & presented well 😋👍. We had sea views & alpacas at the back with beautiful gardens. Kay & Eric were a delight & fantastic hosts 🤩.
It was faultless 🥇 👍.

The Peaceful surroundings, view from room.

very friendly couple that run it, full of local advice.
Single ensuite bedroom was large, clean and comfortable.
The views from the front which has a large seating area were wonderful.
I opted for a continental breakfast with porridge which was nice but would have liked more choice of sliced fruit.
The drive has a winding low stone wall either side which makes bringing a large car up a little uncomfortable.
These issues are personal opinion and do not put me off booking again as they are far outweighed by the positives.

Great quiet location in Old Cleave which is close to A39 so you can explore the area easily. Our room had great views of the valley, bay (Minehead) and sea. Owners were very friendly and supportive including sending us useful information of the area beforehand. They provide a good range of menu options for breakfast and good quality
