Northern Traditions - Deer Hollow and Loon Lodge; both cabins are listed on this website and are located adjacent to each other on the beautiful, 3300 acre Long Lake in Washburn county, the 'Walleye Capital of Wisconsin.' These well-appointed cabins provide a home away from home retreat without compromising any comforts.

Deer Hollow has five bedrooms and three and a half baths; Loon Lodge has five bedrooms and three and a half baths. Each cabin has two full kitchens one up and one down. Cabins can be rented individually or together for the Wisconsin family vacation of a lifetime.

If your traditional Wisconsin vacation has been threatened due to resorts going condo or sold to private owners, Northern Traditions is your answer.

Private five acre lot, log-cabin construction, large decks, spacious screened in porches, deep water docks, excellent fishing and water sports... these cabins were constructed with both the fishermen and the family in mind.

Each cabin comes with a Lund boat with 15HP motor and trolling motor. ( Note docks and boats are out of the water for winter by 10/15 each year.)

Our week at the lake home was perfect! Everything is well kept and clean! The views of the lake are spectacular. The property offered all the comforts of home. Looking forward to going again.

This place was perfect for our mother/daughter/cousin weekend. Lots of space to spread out and to come together. The stair lift made getting the 80+ year olds up and down the steps. Well equipped kitchen was perfect for eating in. It rained all weekend but was still lovely to look out on the water.

Loon Lodge is beautifully situated on Long Lake. Lots of amenities - two kitchens, fish cleaning house, docks, lovely outdoor sitting areas, screened porch, etc. Kitchens are fully outfitted. We were hesitant about sharing the fire pit and fish house, but we only had neighbors for the last day and a half so no problem. Our family enjoyed the lodge and picturesque setting. Rich was easy to communicate with; we appreciate him and his family sharing such a treasure to renters.

This cabin will not disappoint. It was so homey and clean! My husband grew up on Long Lake and we love to go back when we can. The owners are so easy to work with.

Had a great weekend with family at this beautiful home on Long Lake. We have stayed there several times before and hope to return again. Always hard to leave this home that has everything you would want or need for a great stay. Lots of great memories made!!

Loon Lodge is a perfect place to gather with family and friends! It is a spacious, beautiful place set in the midst of Wisconsin’s north woods. Long Lake provides lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors! We’ll definitely be back again!

It was a great place to stay, very scenic, deer came into the yard a few times, Bald eagle did some fishing right in front of the dock. Place was bigger than I expected, lots of room.

Been staying at Loon Lodge for years building our familys traditions. As always, a wonderful time in a beautiful home on a great lake. Sad to see so many of the local restaurants closed, but being so close to Butternut Hills and The Pioneer was convenient for food and cocktails.

I have been going to Long Lake since I was 5 years old so lots of memories and making more each year because of you opening your cabin to us. Laurie is great to work with and we have become friends. I hope to one year spend a few days in the fall at Northern Traditions. Winter would be fun also. Have a wonderful time with your family at the lake.

Our group has been to the cabin three times now and we absolutely love it! It is clean, the owner and management are wonderful with communication and the cabin layout makes it ideal for large groups. We love it and hope to make it an annual trip. Highly recommend!

The Loon Lodge, mild weather, and falling leaves were the perfect combo for a relaxing weekend with my 6 sisters. An abundance of space when we wanted to spread out, and plenty of comfortable seating for when we wanted to bond. An absolutely gorgeous home for any size group.

What a beautiful vacation rental. We rented this place for our annual girls weekend and we’re very pleased with most everything. My only advice to renters is that although the kitchen is very well stocked there are no spices, garbage liners or towels so come prepared. We were fortunate enough to meet Laurie the property manager and what a gem she is! She takes excellent care of that property and was available for us if we needed any little thing! Thank you Laurie for making us feel right at home!

Laura was fantastic. Visited with us ,fun conversation , made us feel at home. The cabin was beyond clean. Grumpy's walking distance, Frankie was fun, fun bar. The cabin has everything you need. Beautiful Lake!!!!!!! We will be back!

This property is outstanding! The house is beautiful inside and out...very clean and well supplied with everything and more that you could possibly need. We enjoyed our evenings around the campfire with gorgeous views of Long Lake. Can't wait for a return trip!!

We have been coming here for over 15 years, and there is a reason. This place remains fantastic! Getting to spend a week here with my parents and family is usually one of the best weeks of the year and this year was no exception.

We've been staying at Loon Lodge for years and always find it to be clean and well maintained. One of the best locations on Long Lake. Once again able to use the fish house to clean the fish we caught and have an awesome fish fry.
