Walking distance to food and shopping anytime of day. Great furniture, beds were great, kitchen was roomy and well stocked, bathroom was roomy with an awsome claw foot tub.
Plenty to do in town with museums and rodeo
To name a few. Short drive to yellowstone.

The place is great…the only draw back is the only source of air conditioning is the window unit in the living room. The bedrooms are pretty warm at night even with doors open. Admittedly the building is old and the location was great for what we wanted to see and do.

Large apartment in the heart of Custer. Great location, convenient to all the sights and near many restaurants and amenities.

Super cute property right downtown. Everything was as promised. We will be back for sure.

This is the second time staying at this property and it’s a lovely spot in the heart of Custer. Trying to connect with Evolve, the property management company, was a dead end and frustrating. The one question I asked took them over a week to respond to. The second question I asked they never responded to.

This was a wonderful area and apartment to stay.

The description is exactly what we found during our visit here. The beds and bathroom were clean and the kitchen was also in good order. We loved the location and being able to walk all around town and hike up to the top of the hill to start every morning. My only complaint was the faux antique bath tub which fit the decor but wasn't the most convenient to get into and out of. Will definitely stay here again.

Pleasant stay (State park, little town, nice snacks and souvenir), but there were lots of small issues that made this a mixed experience (especially considering the price): Pictures of flat were much brighter than the actual rooms. Wifi was poor (and owner had to come to fix it). No information about TV usage. Information about restaurants outdated. Not enough cutlery, not enough toilet paper. Gym is very old and not well maintained. Unfortunately not a place we would come back to.

Amazing. Everything as advertised.

Owner was very attentive and knowledgeable about the area, peaceful location, would definitely stay there again.

My family and I truly enjoyed staying in the apartment. Very close to the president monument and crazy horse. We were practically in the middle of the town ... everything we needed was a short walk. Thank you for an awesome experience.

This apartment was great. It was nice to be right in downtown and we were able to walk to eat or shop. It also was very clean and nice.

Sisters trip to Custer. We LOVED our apartment which had everything we needed. Living area is large. Kitchen is stocked. Quiet at night. We loved the fact that just out the door was the Main Street. Center of the coffee shops, restaurants and breakfast areas. All within walking distance. Jerry and his team were wonderful to visit with. He recommended many wonderful places to eat. This was our first time to Custer. We definitely would come back again!

While the apartment was clean and in a great location the bed and mattress situation in all 3 rooms made this experience truly awful. Either they are the cheapest mattresses ever made or are over 20 years old. You can feel every spring and piece of metal inside them which makes the night a truly awful experience. Waking up after one night on the beds leaves you beat up, sore, and feeling like you never slept. The managers work downstairs and couldn’t be bothered to try and fix the situation when it was brought to their attention. We actually left a day early to go back home because it was worth more to us to sleep in a normal bed than suffer through another night of pain.

As the title says, location, location, location. We walked to most meals and took in many local attractions with short drives. 25 steps to enter this quaint apartment.

What a perfect location! we had to arrive early because of the early April snow storm. Jerry was super accommodating. The apartment was sufficiently furnished and we had no problem keeping warm. The location is great. Not far from the Monuments and Parks. We were not disappointed. Best regards Jerry.

We liked the location, walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and shops. Check-in was seamless. Apartment is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the proximity to Custer State Park where we enjoyed off season hiking and siteseeing. We really enjoyed the location, close to all the sites.

We enjoyed staying in this upstairs apartment downtown Custer. We have been to Custer Several times and this was the first time we had time to stay downtown above one of the businesses. It was great for walking to shops and restaurants. It is a lot of stairs but it was fine for us. There is only 1 parking space but it is all we needed. We enjoyed our time staying here. It is large enough as it has 3 bedrooms.

We travel to Custer several times per year. When we saw this upstairs apartment we wanted to try it. It was off season so things were quiet but still nice being downtown and able to walk to everything.
The apartment was nice. It is a very old building and they did a nice job freshening the apartment. It was not all new, but it was nice and cozy. The apartment was clean and all 3 bedrooms were made up and ready.
The kitchen did look like it had pots and pans and silverware. We like to eat out whenever possible while on vacation.
Above all the location was really nice. We only had 1 car so parking worked out fine for us.

Walking distance to everything-plenty of space. Super clean. Fun to look down onto Main Street.

We had a great time staying at this property. It’s very historic and charming. Jerry made us feel very welcome. He was very easy to get ahold of when we had questions and he had very quick response times. The apartment was cozy and clean and very close to restaurants, the market and coffee shops. We stayed here with our dogs and 18 month old. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the Black Hills.
