Nice chilled place....Nice staff....Nice small pool.
Beds too hard for me....but I slept OK.
Location bit far from nightlife/restaurants.
Need motorbike.....bar unattended most of time so I couldn't buy a drink.....but maybe short staffed.Still I like this place.

we haven’t seen no one to checkin and checkout, the place is very hidden, at night is not good to walk around alone so just if you rent a bike

At first sight, the bungalows are super nice - lovely houses in a great garden with a lovely swimming pool. You do have to rent a motorbike to get around though but they are happy to help you with one (250 baht per day) along with arranging a taxi to or from the pier (700 baht single way)
1. The beds are EXTREMELY hard. We thought we liked ‘quite hard’ but these mattresses are like rocks - we slept terribly with backpains every night (32 year old here)
2. Unfortunately, there was a bad smell in the room - we later found out the toilet was leaking. The room was filled with water and we had to clear all of our luggage. We told the host and she said we had to tell the maid ourselves to fix it (quite weird but ok). We did so and she said she would have it fixed. By the end of the day, we got back around midnight and guess what: everything was full of water again. And for the worst part: our stuff in the room was rearranged and put in places where it was drenched in toilet water. Our clothes were soaked and smelled terrible. A camera bag with a €2000 camera in it was soaked (but luckily, still worked). We told the host in shock and she said ‘sorry, we will fix it again.’ That was it. We then suggested ourselves we wanted to have laundry for our wet and dirty clothes and she thankfully agreed to pay for it after we asked that ourselves but you’d expect more hospitality up front than this.

When all the rooms were full the showers stopped working for a couple of days had to shower by the pool, other then that we enjoyed our stay

It is really a secret garden and we loved it despite all problems we had during our stay and strangely but I would come back to this place because of this. Nice small swimming pool which is most of the time empty so we could feel like having private pool. The same about garden so we got calmness we were looking for. The bungalows are small but sufficient even for 6 nights. The bed very comfortable (we appreciate hard mattress). We got almost everyday 2 bottles of water. It is true that the place is a bit distanced from the Lamai beach (like max 20 min walk) but actually we like it as it was more calm and there is super restaurant near by - we think the best in Lamai.
The biggest problem of this place is that there is no management on place. If there are issues you must be lucky to get what you need or you need to be patience. Thankfully almost all our problems (broken kettle, no warm water, no TV) were solved within 3 days but if you stay just for night or 2 you may be less lucky. Additionally the cleaning and the towels change is on the request so make sure to put the sign outside the room that you want it. The persons who take care about the place (by the way very sympathetic) live next door but they do not speak good English and they are not always there (we could not find anybody to checkout for example). And if you need some info about the island or tours ect - forget about it. None to provide you with the information.
It is all true about noises during the night and all kind of noises: starting from natural one like dogs or birds finishing with karaoke. However it was manageable with some earplugs. It is also true about the poo of lizards but they are friendly guys so we excuse them ;-).
Concerning the bar - very strange concept as it is only open when there are German guests or at least regular gusts. Otherwise it was empty and abandoned but actually it was positive point for us.
We have never seen anybody eating breakfast...

This place was really nice. Bungalows with fan and A/C, comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings. The staff was friendly and it was very chill. If I'm back in Samui I'll go again.
