Lovely place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Staff were kind, friendly and hospitable. Perfect place to unwind after walking endless miles through Florence.

This hotel was a delicious find in a park behind Boboli Gardens. The rooms are spacious and the elegant decor gave a feeling of old world grandeur. The staff went out of their way to help make our stay comfortable. Iuliana in reception was so amazing and kind to my parents. Will be back for sure.

We loved everything about our stay. Food, especially the eggplant parm, complementary breakfeast buffet was a feast. Waiter for dinner was same guy every meal. Working so hard and so pleasant. Felt like we were all family for our stay. Very quit w beautiful pool n so close to Boboli gardens for morning walks.

Loved the breakfasts on the terrace every morning! The location was good, not too far from the center of town. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating.

Resort like in the beautiful settings yet it’s walkable to major attractions. The staff is super friendly too.

This is the third time we have stayed at
hotel Park Palace. This time the prices had trebled but it was worth it as it really lovely there. The location is fantastic. After sightseeing in Florence, we could cool off in the pool at Park Palace and have a light lunch on the terrace. Wonderful setting.

It was a joy to stay Park Palace. The setting, pool, breakfast, staff, being away from the bustle of the city. It was exquisite.

We chose this hotel for the lovely position. A 30 min walk out of town set in beautiful parkland. We arrived at 2.30pm and were told our room was not ready. So not a great start. When we did finally get our room the aspect was horrible looking out into scrub. Photos attached. The wifi is non existent as there is absolutely no service. My husband and I ordered some drinks to have by the pool one afternoon and after 30 minutes we chased them up. The waiter had forgot. We waited another 30 minutes for the drinks. We had paid for breakfast to be included with our accomodation, but the service commenced at 7.30 and not 7am like other hotels. We had some tours booked with 8am starts so we were unable to utilise the breakfast at the accomodation on a couple of occasions. One of the mornings we got down to the breakfast room for 7.35 but the full compliment of breakfast was still not available as they were still preparing it. Finally, there is not any soundproofing between the rooms. We could hear every word in the room next door in addition to other showers running.

It was alright, the room for the price was a bit disappointing. We were in the dependance, Ground Floor and could hear footsteps, laughing and conversation of people upstairs. Have stayed in better places

Excellent hotel.
This was the third time we've stayed at the Park Palace and we thoroughly recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is excellent. The hotel is a short but steep walk away from the centre of Florence.

Perfect setting, beautiful authentic villa with antique furnishings and lovely gardens and pool. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for exploring Florence, walking distance to all the historic sites, yet set in a quiet and tranquil location.

The Park Palace is both comfortable and elegant! I'd be very happy to stay there again. The service was very good. The hotel itself is charming and old fashioned. Beds were comfortable with very high quality linens. The location is a little far (20-25 minute walk, 10-15 minute cab) from the main tourist attractions/monuments, but if you prefer a quiet setting and enjoy walking this place is for you! Florence is not a big city, but it's still congested and busy so I really enjoyed the serene setting at the Park Palace. As a bonus, they have easy parking too.

The property’s exterior is kind of run down, as was the furniture in my room. Yes it’s remote but so much so that there isn’t anything to do without driving or taking the bus, and few of us can handle the hills on a return walk from the center.

Beautiful property that feels like being in the country but only a25min walk to city center and bus terminal nearby.

A beautiful looking hotel with a personal touch, located in a very attractive area just a 20 minute walk from Florence town centre. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast choice was very good and of a high standard. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be a welcome addition, other than that we were very happy.

The stay at Park Palace was great! (Three nights in total). The hotel and the area were very beautiful. Our room surprised us by it's neat details and products that were included, and especially by the amazing view we had from the room windows. Air conditioner worked properly, room was clean plus we had a minibar in the room. The hotel service and the staff were pleasant and spoke english well. I would definitely visit again.

Wouldn't book this again, old, dated, noisy. All you can hear is the lift. The pool is freezing & Dirty.

Great location just outside the city center. But within walking distance to everything.

I chose this hotel based on the great reviews. Maybe I missed something? Our rooms, though spacious, were dark and outdated. My son’s room had a terrible smell, almost unbearable. The vibe was definitely on the creepy side making us uncomfortable to be there. We checked in to use the pool mainly. It was surrounded by pine trees, shade and had cold water. You were swimming in pine needles and when you were lounging, the needles were falling on you. There were no pool towels available either. Unless you have a car, you are stuck in the middle of nowhere. Needless to say, we decided to check out after a couple of hours. The manager was notified, but never came to speak with us. A very expensive learning experience.

This is simply a wonderful place, a beautiful villa in a wonderful location above Florence, with beautiful grounds and a lovely swimming pool. If you don’t mind not being in the center of Florence, this is a great place to stay and find a respite from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene. Great staff, wonderful breakfast included. We loved it!

Loved it. Quiet green and a 20 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio! Great area if you want to do side trips by car to Tuscany! Great big rooms in a park ! Like a little castle!

Honestly not sure why there were so many good reviews. The place felt dirty and smelled bad. I was actually a little depressed to go back to the hotel. The building was very old. The breakfast was not bad and the staff were friendly.

What a lovely place to stay for my last night in Italy. I wish I would have stayed in the Park Palace for a week. I was greeted with smiles and welcome. My room was spacious, with lovely furniture. The bedding was the nicest during my three-week trip to Italy. I had an early flight the next moring, but was graciously offered breakfast from an amazing spread of food even though the dining room was not yet formally open. I look forward to returning some day. This is an incredible find.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel is really spacious and gives more of a resort vibe. We really enjoyed sitting outdoors for our meals overlooking a lovely garden. The most awesome part of the experience were the wonderful stuff who were very courteous, helpful and friendly. A special note of thanks to Laura, Iada and Sami.

Nice hotel, felt like a bed and breakfast. Located near the gardens. Room was spacious, especially for Europe. Staff was helpful and morning buffet was included and had lots of options to pick from. Great stay!

This little hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and adorable with an awesome location. The young man at the desk helped us book a bike tour the same day we arrived, it worked out for us so perfectly !
Thank you Park Palace :)

I cannot praise this hotel enough. The staff were unbelievably attentive and helpful. The gardens are so beautiful and peaceful. This is an absolute oasis from a busy day in Florence, but close enough that you don’t feel you’re missing anything. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent staff with Samuel at the front desk helped facilitate our tours. The hotel looks liked it was frozen in time, with antiques everywhere. The free breakfast was enjoyable especially the coffee maker dispensing an awesome tasty selection This place rocks

Beautiful surroundings, excellent customer service, good food & drinks, very nice rooms, beautiful main building. Wonderful location, but not close to center of city. Center can be accessed by walking or bus.

We returned yesterday from a 8 night stay at the Park palace. We had a wonderful time. With a short walk (20 minutes, some uphill) from the city centre, the hotel is a perfect location for exploring Florence.
The hotel staff were really friendly and went out of their way to recommend restaurants for our wedding anniversary as well as booking tables and taxis as needed.
The hotel itself has a restaurant which serves good quality food and there is also a great restaurant (chalet fontana) a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The rooms are clean and tidy, with good views and there is plenty of space to relax.
Would recommend.

This hotel is on top of the hill overlooking Florence. It is in a quiet high end residential area. The hotel has an exquisite old world feel with a magnificent staircase and dining facilities that over look the garden. It is immaculately clean and in perfect restoration. There is parking and the hotel is on the bus lines so you can park the car and take the bus into Florence
Breakfast is included in the room price and it is a good German style breakfast of cold cuts and cheese. The pastries are great.
There is a nice outdoor pool and the hotel is a great place to relax and read about after a day of museums before going out for dinner.
For dinner you can take number 13 bus to Piazza Tasso where there are a half dozen restaurants that the local residents go to. Try BBQ for great Steak Florentine.

First impressions of the hotel was how lovely it is, lovely individual rooms with wonderful views and nice garden with pool. However the service in the hotel was not good. We were told upon arrival early evening that there is no restaurant service, despite restaurant sign outside, and recommended a local restaurant down the road. This was quite expensive so needed to walk down into Florence, 20 min walk. Bus back as much longer walk uphill.
Breakfast was very poor with no service at all. Tables laid with cloth only, guests have to collect everything including cutlery. Coffee either out of machine or small heated jug. Pile of fruit in corner which looked old and unfresh. Rest of food ok but very limited. We were a family of 4 staying for a week and each day had to ask for more food as it was not replaced by staff when it had run out. Clearly done on a budget for the hotel to spend as little as possible on guests. Certainly not worth the amount we paid. Having just arrived from Rome where our hotel did fantastic breakfasts with friendly staff it was so disappointing. The staff were not interested in our complaints and it really did spoil our holiday. We would definitely not recommend this hotel as simply not worth the money we paid. We were also charged 13 euros a day for parking our car there. Do not book this hotel!
