Overall, the hotel was very nice. My only issue was the bathroom was so small you couldn’t Cleese the door unless you straddled the commode.

It was a nice stay except we had to call the service team twice as the ceiling was leaking in the hallway upon arrival.
We also asked to have our car charged over night, which they failed to do, which was very disappointing.

Quick and easy. Very clean. Service fast and friendly!

Great location. Hotel is dated but kinda cosy. The roof top bar was unimpressive. Overall a good stay, for the price, and great location above all else.

They do not give you a choice to find your own parking and charge $75 for valet parking.

Beautiful hotel. Great location, felt safe.
Super friendly staff. Rooms are a little small. Clean. Would stay there again.

You can tell the moment you arrive, the InterContinental Mark Hopkins is a regal establishment. The pictures are incredibly accurate, so trust that what you're seeing is what you can expect. If you upgrade to a room with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, expect the fog (named Karl, curiously) to obscure your view for the first part of the day. As far as getting around San Francisco, the hotel is at the zenith of the city, so be prepared to walk back up to it if you leave on foot. The ferry building and Chinatown are just a short walk away. Everything else is easily accessibly by Uber and there are always some available just a minute or two away. If you're feeling really brave, call yourself a Waymo and let technology drive you around the city for a bit. Don't miss the Boom Boom Room (nightclub) and the Tailor's Son (Italian restaurant) in Japantown, and Tupelo (bar with live music) near Telegraph Hill.

A beautiful hotel. Old SF at its finest. Wonderful staff. All class.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Not cheap so would have expected at least water being included for free in the room
Room upgrade won’t happen for free if you’re not an IHG member. Even with Gold hotels.com status we had to pay $50 per night upgrade for a corner room on top floor

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is iconic and beautiful and the views can’t be beat.

We stayed here 50 years ago on our wedding night. The hotel kindly upgraded our room to an upper level with a beautiful view. Very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious but a little pricey. Bell staff was excellent. Shoutout to Tony for his service.

Lovely historic hotel in Nob Hill area. So grand and elegant. The room I was in was rather small, and some of the areas seemed worn but I enjoyed it and would stay again.

Thank you so much for an incredible experience! The hotel was fantastic, guest services was even better (especially Al at the door), the food was excellent. I am definitely going to return!

Unfortunately the room was a bit dusty and dirty. The toilet seemed to be leaking and the bathtub wasn’t clean. A big disappointment.

Beautiful hotel, and room. The staff were kind and welcoming. Dining was delicious.

Really nice hotel but very little amenities. Also not really walkable, so if you’re looking for something that’s closer to shops, it’s better to stay down the hill.

Great location, lovely historic hotel clean and comfortable, hills keep you fit.

Enjoyed the stay. Excellent services

classic hotel with facilities that are a bit dated. that said, the stay was very comfortable and the staff was very accomodating. upon early check-in, i was given a room on a lower floor with a blocked window/view that was not nice at all. came back to the lobby and was offered the choice of a better room that would be available later in the day. that next room on the 15th floor made a huge difference in my stay and was happy with the overall stay!

From the moment we checked the staff was so welcoming , even upgraded our room! (We were celebrating our 31st anniversary) our room was clean, comfortable and had a gorgeous view!! I really appreciated the hospitality and cleaning staff! They are very professional and kind! All are meals were so amazing! ( they did cater to my food allergies) We had a wonderful stay :)

Loved the high quality of service from all staff members - top to bottom. Great food as well in both dining rooms. Would love to return!

Safe and convenient area with helpful staff.
Our room was quite small. The bathroom in particular was small with very limited counter space.

We had a very wonderful time staying at the iconic Mark Hopkins hotel on Nob Hill. Wear your sneakers and get your steps in. You can walk to Chinatown and Northbeach to experience the sights, smells and tastes of the different cultures. We got tons of steps in on one day 😁. The hills can be a bit of a challenge but it is a great workout and loads of fun!

Miguel at front desk was great as were bellmen Tony & Javier. Top of the Mark is very cool if expensive. Nice classic hotel.
