Room was good, zero service on WiFi or 5g
Nothing on tv either
4.2
Our stay was comfortable enough thought it ridiculous not to have a fridge in the room no phone in the room no air conditioning the room was stuffy and the window only opened a couple of inches. To pay extra for the spa was a little too much and it was very dated and some of the spa jets didnt even work. Extra $ for towels too. The steam room didnt work either
4.2
Mould around windows, room needed some TLC chips in furniture, overall room was clean
4.2
Absolutely beautiful location, short walk to the river which made for a lovely evening stroll. Staff were friendly & knowledgeable.
4.2
No aircon in the rooms. Stay was ok. Didn’t use any facilities.
4.2
Good value, clean, nice food

We didn’t stay!!! We have tried twice through the virtual chat on hotels.com to change the date. They kept saying they will contact me in 72hours for a date change. No email was sent to the hotel no email was sent to me.
No one had contacted the hotel to help use.
This is absolutely appalling.
The hotel wild pheasant were lovely everytime I phoned.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff xx would recomend this hotel.

Fab hotel, we stay here every year when we visit North Wales. Food in the restaurant is amazing
4.2
Fabulous hydro pool beautiful location , room was a bit cold for me staff very friendly
4.2
I had looked forward to staying here. Left disappointed.
The bed was not comgortable, very cheap quilt and extremley lumpy pillows.
At very few in the restaurant but some food unavailable. The chicken Snitzel( thin bread crumb coated oece of chicken on some rocket, french fries and a smsll jug of what tasted like mushroom soup was not good and i noted our neighbouring table was nor impressed for £19.99. If we had wanted soup, that was an afitional £9.99. A 10% obligatory service charge too. Barely slept due to very lumpy pillows and nor did my don. Rudely awakened early due to paper thin walls i could hear the very long, loud telephone conversation of the gentleman in the next room that went on for two hours +. To add insult to injury, the hotel charges £10 just to enter the spa, let alone anything else whoch is an added cost.
Sadly disappointed. I wont be returning

Very nice hotel room spacious and comfy would definitely stay again

The staff were so polite and amazing! I wasn’t able to use the spa but I did paint my nails and wasn’t happy with it and they let me use their nail polish remover which was so kind and I was extremely grateful for that. Hope to make it there again!
4.2
A very pleasant hotel, a nice location, clean, spacious comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. The bar was nice to have a drink in and the breakfast was tasty and good quality.
A nice quiet location too a short walk from Llangollen town centre
4.2
Amazing stay. Beautiful suite with balcony and jacuzzi bath. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a great stay

It was a nice place to stay. Very picturesque.

I've been coming to this hotel since 2002 and I was really disappointed in the service or lack of. They don't service the room or give you any Tea coffee or milk once you have used the first ones. You now have to pay for the spa extra £10 per hour plus extra for towels. The breakfast was £15 Which was very basic, the room itself was also basic the mattress was very thin, and the bathroom was mouldy . I'm sorry to say I won't be going back

Lovely hotel with lovely staff

Excellent facilities, rooms very nice, good position

Solo traveler used this hotel for one night as I was going to the music festival. One minute by car to the town about five if your on foot. It’s a spa hotel and although I wasn’t there to use the spa the treatments looked fabulous.
The hotel was decorated in a fresh and modern style, checking in and reception was fast, attentive and friendly.
My room was a single, small but well appointed en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower, no bath, decorated in a modern style with modern fixtures and fittings, flat screen tv, tea & coffee making facilities, ironing board and iron, plenty of storage and hanging space, single comfy bed, room decorated in a modern style with a lovely view of the courtyard.
I used the bar & lounge for dinner which was decorated in a very fresh and modern style, service was prompt, the staff were very polite and very attentive, my order was served in a timely manner and was delicious.
Breakfast the following Morning was lovely, the waitress took the hot breakfast order and you helped yourself to everything else, tea, coffee, choc, cereal, toast, hams cheeses, yogurt fresh fruit all the usual.
Check out was smooth with no problem. I’d stay again but I would use the spa.

Absolutely fabulous stay at the Wild Pheasant Hotel - lovely rooms, restaurant, bar and staff - thank you.
4.2
A lovely hotel with impressive staff
4.2
Very restricted dining times.
No telephone in room.
Power cut in morning (no breakfast)
Small bed.
4.2
Booked 20 rooms unhelpful unfriendly staff at check in and out rooms not ready then after spending at the bar to not even sitting down with drinks some guests that were still at reception had there keys gradually we all went back and with in 5 minutes rooms were ready if given keys could have gone straight to there rooms not go straight to bar
4.2
Nearby area was lovely and hotel building is nice. Staff not particularly helpful or friendly, and whole set up seems to be about getting you to pay for additional things. Bathroom in our room wasn’t completely clean and had damage (same for the other room we travelled with).
4.2
Comfortable overpriced
4.2
Lack of staff meant being locked out of our room as the keycard battery died. The young lady on reception tried her best but for some reason the spares are kept in a locked safe by the manager. She was busy and didn’t seem to care whilst she tended to an almost empty restaurant.
4.2
The hotel is nice enough, but the mattress was awful. Clearly needed to be replaced.
4.2
An enjoyable stay. Staff friendly, clean room. Don't know why the spa had a charge as when booked directly with the hotel it would have been free and there were charges for the towels and the robes.
Evening meal good.
I felt the room was quite expensive but on the whole it was an enjoyable stay.
4.2
Lovely grounds, lovely staff, ideal location. Mouldy curtains and just a bit average, nothing 5 star about it in my opinion.
4.2
Nice hotel, good food and friendly staff. There was a wedding going on but it was still a great experience.
4.2
Nowhere on the hotels.com website does it state that the spa is £10 per person, per hour additional or that it's £2 each for a towel for it. It's boasts the spa and states people say it's good but does not state it's additional.
4.2
Fabulous place, a short walk from Llangollen town centre. Plenty parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully stay here again
4.2
Reception staff unhelpful.
Tried to charge for an extra that had been agreed to defer.
Glass house food disgusting
Room cold and damp patch on wall. Mold round shower.
4.2
Staff are always friendly and ready to go the extra mile to help. Hotel is welcoming with large carpark. Room had very good shower and comfortable beds and plenty of choice of tea, coffee, water etc. As usual, a very pleasant stay, though only for one night this time
4.2
The hotel was in a nice position as you could walk into the town itself along the riverside.
Our room was big but unfortunately not cleaned properly with dust left on the lamps by our bedside and old toothpaste marks on the wall in the bathroom.
Pillows not comfortable,too hard.
Drinks in bar really expensive.
You had to ask to have your room serviced and for what we paid for the room that was not expected
4.2
A well run hotel in a beautiful location. The grounds were very well kept and the food was very good. The hotel is a little dated in places with a few areas needing to be repaired or painted. Other than that, a lovely hotel with great staff.
4.2
From the moment I walked through the door the immediate comfort and expectation was met! I didn’t get the front desk ladies name however it was around 3pm I checked in on Friday and she was lovely, asked about my plans, and was overall just a bubbly welcoming person. The room was very spacious and immaculate. Perfect stay.
4.2
Lovely place. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Fabulous food. Definitely will return
4.2
Walk in shower had no anti slip mat and was quite dangerous, there was not a backup toilet roll in the bathroom not that it was needed but was expected. The staff were friendly and helpful.
