Modern, clean, well kept. Great ocean views. Free sunscreen. Coffee shop/ice cream parlor was very good! Suggest this for breakfast. Lots of pool lounge chairs available. Good bar drinks. Nice cold A/C that gets to 65°. Full size shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion in the rooms. Loved the nightly live music from 6pm-9pm by the tree. Massage at the spa was nice but books up fast so book right away when you get there. Things to note: the shower leaked some under the caulk basin into the bathroom. The room has minimal tabletop space to set items on, fridge is in the bathroom, can't turn off the patio light, ocean current is very strong and has a steep drop off not far out. Not a calm relaxing swim in the ocean. Breakfast buffet is almost $40 and basically a continental breakfast you'd get for free at the holiday inn. Needs improvement. No lounge chairs on the beach, only can use towels. No shade on the beach. Overall great stay and very relaxing and quite. I'd recommend!

The hotel had no room service or even water bottles and the tap water is not drinkable. There is no shuttle service to the airport. Didn’t find staff friendly. They stick to what they have to do, they don’t try to go above and beyond for you. The room was clean but the toilet and shower area had this real bad smell. Hotel is cheaper than other places in Maui but adding water bottles is basic necessities they can add. One plus to staying in this place is that beach in front of the resort is almost empty and you can avoid crowds compared to staying somewhere by the village.

Lovely stay. Not too crowded and a bit dated but still charming. Great location and friendly service. It’s Hawaii, so it’s expensive for what you get, but if you’re fine with a nonfancy nice sized clean room and really tiny bathroom and well kept non crowded grounds but don’t expect luxury this place is perfect. Recommend upgrading for a full beach view which is spectacular.

Due to a scheduling error at another resort, we had to find a last minute accommodation. The Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows had availability at a reasonable price. The room was beautiful with a remarkable view.

Absolutely a dream. We’ve stayed in Maui several times but this was our first time at Royal Lahaina, we will be coming back! The property is beautiful, clean, and feels like the true Hawaiian experience. Staff is wonderful, kind, helpful, professional, and SO friendly. Rooms are beautiful and updated. Ocean and pool were clean and did not feel crowded. 10/10 would recommend the ocean view bungalow and would recommend Royal Lahaina to anyone visiting Maui!

They didn’t stock amenities TP, conditioner & body wash had none on the pumps They don’t have weights at the “gym” only a treadmill Trey don’t clean great but they do have good food.

We had an amazing time at the Royal Lahaina. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a bungalow that was clean and quiet and the grounds couldn’t have been more pristine. Truly a special place on the most beautiful beach!

Bathroom was disgusting when we arrived. The house keeping dept manager came and cleaned it with the help of another guy and a shop vac.

it was a wonderful stay.. all the staff are corteous and friendly.. the best part is the complimentary luau dinner nothing can beat that deal.. we really enjoyed our 5 days stays and we are encouraging our family friends to go to Maui and also checkin to Royal Lahaina❤️

Customer service was great. Property location is very convenient and the beach on the hotel is beautiful. Great Lahaina Noon restaurant and bar. However, the Tv remote in our room did not work. Maintenance came to our room to fix it and it did work temporarily .. and then broke again. It’s nice to watch tv and wind down in the room after a day full of activities and tours. That was the only inconvenience.

Great property with lots to like ! Location is good, plenty of different amenities to pick from as well as accommodation ! We chose a studio apartment for self catering which was great ! Only one issue of pesky little ants that seem to come & go Looking for food opportunities which they did find on our last morning Otherwise it was all good 👍

From the very beginning, I encountered several issues that made my stay uncomfortable. The service was consistently poor throughout my visit. After a long flight, the check-in process was slow and disorganized, despite having completed an online check-in in advance. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration. Upon entering my room, I was immediately hit by an unpleasant odor of mold and humidity that lingered throughout my stay, making it difficult to relax or even breathe comfortably. The room’s design, while visually appealing, was flawed, particularly with the placement of the air conditioning unit. It was positioned so poorly that it either blasted cold air directly onto the bed or left the rest of the room unbearably warm. This made it impossible to find a comfortable temperature, leading to a restless night and, ultimately, my entire family feeling unwell the next day. The overall cleanliness of the room was also lacking. The linens were heavy, and the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable.
