The hotel is more of a motel. My room had one window that was located near a stairwell so there was little natural light. My reservation was for 2 queen beds. This hotel has zero queen beds. Only fulls (that they call full/queen) or king size beds. Rooms with king size bed only have one bed. The room was clean. However the bathroom door was rotting at the top and base. Hotels.com said they would give be a voucher since the room was not as described. I have yet to receive voucher. The beds were uncomfortable enough we checked out early.

We left after tye first day after having the noisiest neighbors and seeing a cockroch on the bed. We were given a different room but we did not want to risk another cockroch. Thankfully, we were able to get a full refund for the days we did not end up staying at.

Hotel was clean and orderly. I am a tall man so the low bed height was difficult to get out of. Also the mattress was way too soft for a big guy. Location is great for getting to all the San Diego attractions. Should not charge for parking as the room access is outdoors with the parking lot open to conditions.

Multiple roaches were crawling from under our microwave and bed, our bed was broken on one side, and water was barely coming out of the shower. They tried to remedy this by switching our room and guess what? More roaches there too. We were out on vacation for a few days and we didnt want to spend it packing and unpacking. At 130 bucks a night this is pretty ridiculous.

Building is old and run down. A dead roach was in the bathroom. Only a pull down shade over window, no drapes so lights from parking lot shined in. Could hear people going up and down the stairs and the baby in the next room crying all night. I do not recommend this place!

Pictures were deceiving. Actually looks like a motel with very basic and outdated rooms. It was clean enough but definitely would not come back. You could hear everything and property is not in a good area. So glad we only stayed for 1 night.

Website clearly indicates a shuttle service, however, this hotel offers ZERO shuttle service. No airport shuttle and no shuttle to the local attractions or Sea World. No cable TV service available for my entire visit. Went to the bar next door to see the baseball game.

We stayed in this hotel before we went to sea world. We had a group of 30 people staying here. It was a great stay. Honestly it was better than expected due to reviews. The only downfall was the breakfast as I was expecting a little more to be available then there actually was but that isn’t that big of a deal!

Limited parking at this hotel. It’s crammed in and make it almost impossible to park without getting door dinged. Our hotel room had ants by the bathroom sink and then our keys weren’t working to get into the hotel room either nights. We had to walk to the front desk 3 different times in one night, after traveling and then again the second night again. Only this time the technician came and replaced the fob entry. Overall, it was just mediocre. I knew we wouldn’t be in the hotel, only to sleep, but it was a let down for a second time staying here….

The guidelines state no smoking but people were smoking cigarettes and weed on the property. The floor inside the room was so dirty both mine and my daughter’s feet were black but yet they had some guy mopping the concrete outside of the rooms when we checked in. Who ever was directly upstairs from us was running and moving furniture all night long. Lots of loud talking and semi uncomfortable beds/pillows. There was only 1 channel for kids and the was PBS which only played cartoons in the morning while we were checking out. Not kid friendly and not the worst it could have been but definitely not the best.

I feel like the pictures listed for this place are a bit deceiving. I was expecting a nice hotel and it was more like a nice motel. We arrived and there were ANTS in our room and on the bed. We then switched rooms and the second one was better. However, the fire alarm went off for 2.5hrs on another night because no one could get it turned off. There’s no pool, no breakfast, no transportation, and you pay $20/day for parking. The shower had to warm up for like 5-10 minutes before it gave you hot enough water. They also didn’t clean our room the entire time we stayed because we asked the housekeeping to come back at a later time and they wouldn’t. Overall it’s a 2/5 for me and I can’t say I’ll be returning.

Cleaning crew was loud and disrespectful continually knocking even when do not disturb sign is on. Felt really harassed by them when much rest was needed in the morning. It made the stay stressful and unpleasant. Management did not care about the inconvenience even when it was addressed repeatedly. Management refused to compensate for the incovenience. Expedia also refused to compensate for such a stressful experience

Girls trip! We had a clean room, staff was friendly, and lots of shopping within walking distance. We stayed in room 608(Kemper street) side. At the entrance gate there we a few homeless hanging out, and from our room window we were able to see the homeless doing drugs.

Uninhabitable due to false firearm, I had to evacuate and get another hotel room last minute because alarm would not turn off. Unbearable with noise ; very disruptive and could not sleep and get rest. Struggling to get refund from hotel

The rooms are clean and pretty updated, and the service from the staff is great! We checked in around 4:30 on Saturday Sept 7th and the woman running the front desk was phenomenal. The lobby looked well maintained also. Our only issue was many of the facilities were either broken or under repair. The pool was closed, the ice machine was broken on our floor, the elevator was closed, and the fire alarm went off one night for two hours, with no communication from the hotel as to why/if there was an actual emergency. We were kept awake by it and very confused/alarmed. There was never any follow up or communication if the building was actually safe.
