Every one working here is so nice and kind! the only complaint i have is the rooms feel stale. like no good air circulation. i opened the window but it only opens a tiny bit. so if the window can open wider that would help alot!

I was surprised to learn there was no hot breakfast served at a ski resort. First time I experienced this in 40 yrs. Of skiing. In Europe, breakfast Buffett is common.

Very expensive for a hotel without a full time bar or restaurant. The rooms are not even close to being sound proof. You can hear regular talking in the room next door and all walking from the room above. The curtains are the same ones from 20 years ago and do not block out the light. Sad they can’t even provide breakfast anymore yet the rates are higher than ever. The staff are nice and helpful and provided whatever they were able to provide. Food and drinks when the bare and kitchen were open was very good. The best reason the stay here is the proximity to the lifts and parking.

Great location, Skilifts are only a stone throw away!

the only thing that would make this better is if they had breakfast on site...and a TV that could stream content. otherwise it's a top notch location for anyone that is skiing at palisades!

Great staff, front desk and bar, but the facilities are old. Our room had nasty carpet and stains. It’s a pet friendly place and the room smells like it. Kinda gross for the price. Totally overpriced. I would not recommend.

Located in beautiful Palisades Tahoe Valley, we didn’t know PlumpJack had rooms, we thought it was just a restaurant. Foremost, the staff was outstanding and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. They catered to our needs and our stay was very comfortable. Taryn asked us our plans the morning we left and recommended a local restaurant for breakfast, which we tried, and it was outstanding! Our visit to the area was perfect!

Pricing is on the high end, but liked it otherwise. Clean spacious room, friendly staff

Our first time staying here and won’t be the last. We had to cancel one of our dates because our car was stuck in the shop longer then expected and we passed the 7 day cancellation policy but the manager Andrea was able to help us out and refund our money. All of the staff were friendly and hospitable. The hotel was small and cozy located right next to the Olympic village. Convenient to walk to. It was very quiet and peaceful over here. The hotel had bikes you could borrow to cruise and explore the area. The pool and spa area was inviting and had lots of tables and lounge chairs to relax in. The room was spacious with large bathroom and soft comfy bed.
We originally planned to go mountain biking but we ended up just making it a romantic quality time spent and enjoying the Olympic Village area. There’s a cool tram you can take next door that take you to the top of the mountain with breathtaking views. Expensive but cool experience.

Always beautiful in Olympic valley. Small two story hotel. Nice pool and lounge chairs. Kinda expected the rooms to have more ambiance. Pretty simple for the cost. But comfortable and clean. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Tons of aspen trees.

The hotel is just across the street from Olympic Valley so easy walk back and forth. The hotel had an old world feel but unfortunately, I think it is about time for a remodel. Everything is old and shabby; the rooms were showing the years from the carpet to the tile in the bathroom.
But the Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Again, nice location but in need of an upgrade.

The hotel staff was amazing. We had had a small issue with noise ( a barking dog) and the manager moved us the following day. Why people travel with pets and leave them in the hotel room is beyond me.

The PlumpJack was everything my wife and I could have asked for! After two nights in south Tahoe at a casino (where we weren’t impressed). The service and style of this boutique inn was a breath of fresh air! We’ll definitely start and end every trip here anytime we come back.

Good - Free bikes to use!
Bad - pool needs heated; carpets in room need replaced or steam cleaned

Way below expectations as described on website. We took a chance.. first try at a room was dark and cave like and reeked of mold and mildew… second try was better but bathroom shower was a black mold fest. More like staying at a cheap roadside motel.

Great location for quick trip to Lake Tahoe. Nice and clean hotel

Such a beautiful place to stay. The art and ambience in the rooms were very pretty. The room smelled awful though. At first it smelled like cheese then it smelled a dirty diaper, no one seemed to want to help with this problem. Customer service was nice at face value, but made it obvious me being there to check in and ask questions was a disruption to their day.

None of us was comfortable with bed or pillows. Staff was very nice; made good recommendations for eating there. Their restaurant was closed due to wedding. Didn't seem to know much about happenings around Lake Tahoe.

Just stayed here Memorial Day Weekend after it was closed for a few months for "spring cleaning." Not really sure what they did during that time, but I doubt it was much cleaning. Rooms are fine, fairly dingy and sparse, not somewhere you are going to want to spend much time. Windows were dirty and barely open, no A/C, comically small plug in fan. Pool was not cleaned, even after it had been closed for months, which was surprising. Restaurants are open very limited hours, very few staff onsite. It's not a bad option if you can get a good rate, but don't expect luxury. I'm sure in the winter this is a much more desirable place because of the location right next to the lifts.

For how pricey the room rates are it’s not worth it. It’s conveniently located but I was not impressed by the room. Very basic and I found a dirty tissue behind the nightstand that was not mine.

The location is great, right by the Olympic Village and the main lower maintain lifts. The staff was very nice too. What we did not like is that we paid a lot ($500/night) expecting something bigger and closer to a suite, but the room was really a standard double-queen room with little extra. There is a mini-fridge, but so small we could not put much in it. There is a small table, ok for 2 but not for 3. The TV is small and had limited selections. No kitchen. No breakfast (contrary to what Expedia indicated). There was a nice view to a mountain but the window was high and we could not see the view well.

Ideal, pet-friendly location. Will return here for sure!

The hotel is perfectly located, but it just a little dated. The room itself is pretty plain, but clean. During COVID they removed all the "extras" to the room, so you have to request everything (hair dryer, coffee maker, towels, etc). The hotel pool and restaurant patio area is beautiful and makes this place fantastic! I would 100% recommend this place, but just set expectations for the room.
