Like other reviews mention, the staff were very nice. I do question their cleanliness standards. I was tired and coming off a 12 hour drive and would have slept anywhere, but I still noticed when I got to my room there was old trash in the trash cans, hair on the bed and floor, and a dead cockroach stuck in the glass frame of one of the paintings in the room- no idea how that hasn’t been taken care of yet. It’s in a good location but unless they up their standards I wouldn’t stay again.

Staff was super friendly. General maintenance needs improvement. First room we checked into had a commode with continual running water. Second room the bathroom night light bulb was burned out. Both rooms and our family member’s rooms musty and the rooms felt damp. Suspect the air conditioners were not working at 100%.

The room we received was musty and the carpet was all damp. After switching to a new room, the smell improved slightly but the carpet was still damp. Because of the room switch, our keys were somehow deactivated and we were locked out of our room until the front desk could reactivate them. The stay was fine. Hotel was conveniently located for what we came down for. Worked for our needs, but was not impressive at all. Disappointed for the price I paid.

I expected more from a Hampton Inn. The best part was the nice service and funny breakfast women. It is an older hotel, and the room was average. We did get an "upgrade" because our room wasn't ready on time. The upgrade was to have a bigger room, but the view was the corner of a bump out of the building. The staff was really nice about it. The bed was comfy and other than an old black sock in the closet, it was fairly clean. Towels for the pool were the size of hand towels-- so that could improve.

If I have one concern, it is that there dfidn't seem to be the ability to recycle the plastic bottles that the water they give upon registering--garbage contained dozens of empty plastic bottles that could and should have been recycled, if a recycle bin had been available.

My check in time was 3pm and I arrived at 5pm, but my room was not ready. It wasn’t until 6 pm the room was finally ready. The whole point of paying to stay in a hotel room is that the hotel promises to have a room for you for a set amount of time. I paid but I didn’t get a room for the agreed upon amount of time… the front desk lady was nice but offered nothing more than a quick apology.
