We stayed here for two nights with our two children and it was fabulous. We made the most of express passes and early entry to enjoy the parks butoves being able to pop back and use the gorgeous pool. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended.

My daughter’s clothes, room pass card, and money were stolen from her sun lounger. Bearing in mind there were no sign posted lockers or any visible. You need to take your room key with you as it gives you access into the pool area. 3 members of staff I spoke to about helping me locate it and none were helpful at all. In fact the manger was down right rude. The guy on reception when I went back the following morning to see if the items had been handed in said. “ you know times are hard nowadays. People will take opportunity’s to take stuff, you win some you lose some “. Absolutely disgusting!! Bearing in mind she had just spent $27 on the lanyard and holder to hold her pass as you need the room key card to access all your park extras so not only did she lose her belongings and her money she lost them I eh she also spent on the items. I will not stay here again. The hotel is beautiful but if you look closer the carpets are stained and dirty.

The hotel staff were not the friendliest, even to get basic service out of them you had to tip. The room was never cleaned before 5pm despite us asking for earlier cleaning and we agreed late check out but a maid came knocking to remove us from the room at 11am. Second time staying disappointing to see standards slipping- if it weren’t for the staff express passes we wouldn’t stay again

We loved this hotel. Very convenient to Universal parks by 3 minute walk or water taxi. Also the complementary express pass to the parks was a great bonus. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was very clean.

We usually love our stay at Hard Rock but this was a little disappointing. We requested a quiet room, however we were put in a room directly above the big air conditioning units which ran all night. We could sleep with ear plugs in, so didnt request to move but having requested a quiet room we were a little surprised! The room itself was also a bit tired looking and shabby which again is unusual for Hard Rock.

Our stay was great as usual until the dogs down the hallway started barking against one another like a barking war. When we checked in we were told that if we wanted a first level room that it was ready now. This being 8:30am on check in day. So we said absolutely so we had a place to rest halfway through the day. Come to find out, the first floor is the pet floor. First issue, when we checked in, and my wife was told about the room availability, we were never informed that the first floor was the dog floor. Second, if we would’ve known that the first floor was a pet floor. We would’ve never opted into getting into our room early because my wife and I have severe pet allergies. After a very unrestful night of sleep, my wife and I decided to check out early, and just park our car back over at the garage cause we didn’t want nothing to do with the hotel since they fell to tell us that we were on the pet floor. We have stayed here before and have never had an issue. However, when you go to check into a hotel , if there is a pet floor, there should be a right to know for the customer while checking in. Because of my wife’s allergies, she was not able to sleep at all that night. Therefore, we had a very expensive TV to watch and that was it. the manager addressed in the morning and things were taking care of other ways. Hard Rock is a great hotel because of the pool, the environment, and the food at the resort. However, not being told about the pet floor was inexcusable.

Obviously the main benefit of staying here was the universal express passes but without those the room would not justify the high cost. Had an issue with a charge on our account after we had checkednout, but was soon rectified after i contacted them to query it. Spent a couple of hours at the pool which was really nice, with entertainment and quizzes being provided by the pool DJ

Whilst on a recent Disney holiday we decided to book the Hard Rock for one night to take advantage of the express pass offer. Arrived at 10am and Paige in reception was very accommodating and managed to find us a room early which was hugely appreciated. We could then leave our belongings safely in the room whilst accessing Universal, which was a five minute walk away. Our 9 year old loved everything about the hotel, especially all of the memorabilia located around. All facilities looked clean and menus on offer looked amazing. Great stay as expected from the Hard Rock Hotel brand, would definitely recommend and also return in the future!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgable. Room was was comfortable and clean. The text message service was great. Quickly responded too and always with friendliness - nothing to big or small. Asked for some English breakfast tea for the room and it was delivered swiftly. The bar and pool were great..a bit pricey but expected. Getting express passes for Universal (2 days per day booked) was amazing and worth worth the cost to stay.

I stayed here because of the Express Pass perk. My stay wound up being almost the exact same cost as staying at a budget Universal resort hotel and then adding on the passes. Next time I'll try a different resort because there was nothing really special about the space besides the location and the add-ons (like Early Park Admit and the Express Passes). The pool was nice, and you can pool hop to any Universal Premium Resort which is awesome. The front desk folks were amazing, as was the entire staff. The rooms were nice but not as well-appointed as I expected.

We often stay at the Hard Rock & this was first time we have thought the room furniture looked tired but room was clean enough & beds comfortable. We had very noisy neighbours which meant we did not sleep well as they talked loudly till 3am !

Our family really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful… from the front desk to the restaurant to the gift shop. Everyone was so nice. The kids loved the pool. The poolside cafe was yummy. It was a short walk to the parks and we had the boat as an option too. The unlimited universal pass was amazing, which made the stay even more worth it. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Average stay. Was a bit surprised of how aged the hotel was, considering the price. Pool is massive and nice to have the dj and bar around the pool. Lack of good quick breakfast options before hitting up the park, and definitely overpriced. Between the four of us it still ended up being about the same price as an off-resort hotel as it included the lightening passes. If there was only 2 of us, definitely would choose another option. Oh, and our welcome present was a cockroach in the elevator. Fortunately we didn’t see any others throughout our stay but that set the mood for sure.

Property itself was excellent great outdoor landscaping can walk 8 min to the theme parks or city walk or take the water taxi. The pool area looks great but we didn’t have chance to use. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean however our bathroom was a bit dated compared to the main room/powder room. Unlimited express passes that includes arrival day and departure was a great perk for our party of 3! Would book again if attending those parks again in the future.

Check in was amazing, seamless and extremely personable. They even took the time to ask what we were celebrating and made us birthday pins with our names on them. The hotel itself is super clean and the atmosphere is great throughout the property. Nightly movies in the pool adds an awesome element to unwind after a long day and the pool side service was excellent. Best hotel we have stayed at in a while.
