Stay was ok very limited menu
Room was fantastic though comfy warm clean with a great view
Not happy that I had to pay £12 a day for parking in the hotel car park

Very friendly staff . Very accommodating . Value for money

Excellent location on beach. Dinner service surprisingly nice. Room good, en suite very tired, but clean. Hubby couldn’t stand up in shower/bath combo as ceiling so low. Leaky window to front - reported it on check out and hotel seemed keen to get that fixed asap. Hotel had parking but had to pay hotel extra £12 for it. thought that was a bit cheeky when you could park on street easily and pay/display same amount. Fine for couple nights.

Hotel is extremely old and in need of maintenance. We were on fourth floor, water pressure was extremely low for shower. No air conditioning and extremely hot in room. Room doesn’t have any fridge also. Carpets dirty and old. We found thick hair all over, toilet was dirty. Lift was extremely old and slow. Window is crushed still no double glazed window… overall shocking for a UK hotel. Maybe you could call it motel.

The picture of the reception looked nothing like the reception in real life. The spa was closed as it was too busy!! Did not find a gym in this hotel ( which was 1 reason why I picked this hotel) £18 for breakfast was very steep when I looked at what was on offer. No air con in the rooms, which I understand as it’s an old hotel, but a fan would have been a bonus especially on the hottest day of the year.

Seemed to lack staff, waited an extremely long time for food(which was only1pizza) breakfast wasn’t replenished until requested
3.5
Bird poo on the floor of the room and rubbish in the bed
3.5
The room was very disgusting. The floor had something sharp and poked the children’s feet. The beds were smelly and causing everyone to itch, we did call to tell them this but they come in the morning to change which was not good especially when we arrived at 14:00 on the check in day. Bathrooms were not clean and when asked for them to be cleaned the room attendant came and just went over it with a dry cloth very briefly.
3.5
Swimming pool and nice bedroom.

The lack of air conditioning makes it extremely hot, and despite the advertisement, there are no beds for children. Additionally, breakfast runs out quickly and takes a long time to be replenished. For the price, it's not worth it at all, and there isn't enough space in the car park.

Mattress was broken, woke up multiple times with springs digging into my back or side. Finally fell back asleep on my front and woke up with indent on my chest. Hotel is a nice, staff friendly but by far the worst bed I’ve ever slept in.

Needs refurbishment windon in room very dirty lift carpet dirty tele did not work right floor tiles cracked in bathroom window locks missing floor boards loss outside the bar dogends need sweeping up out side tables need sanding and the whole frount of the hotel needs painting
3.5
There was no ramp for approaching the front door with luggage. Older people need one!
3.5
The staff were friendly but the condition of the room was terrible. It was dirty and everything was broken. The room was extremely hot and had only one small window. They left 2 fans in the room which hardly worked. We took our dog with us which we were informed to keep her food in the bathroom and not let her on the bed or any other furniture in the room. Dogs are also not allowed anywhere in the hotel. We paid for a room with sea view and we only had a partial sea view. I was not happy with our stay.

Poor Hotel… terrible mattress and facilities never again.

This was the worst weekend away ever! Hotel is very run down! Half of the staff don’t speak English and if they do, they’re so rude! Hotel is built with very thin walls. You can hear absolutely everything next door! Room was very dirty and smelly!
At breakfast not much choice or empty buffet whatsoever. We had to ask the waiters many times to fill in the buffet!
In the evening when getting drinks we noticed/caught that staff don’t pour the amount of alcohol you pay for. When ordering single, you get half of it and then ordering double you get single.
This was just a waste of money! Don’t stay there if you want to have a stay from hell!

The tv didn't work in our room. A man came to fix and the aerial box came apart. The guy came to fix it at 8am in the morning and it worked intermittently so was completely useless. The wallpaper was coming off the walls and the bathroom door was peeling away at the bottom of the door. Very disappointed all round.
3.5
Staff amazing, breakfast was great. Rooms could do with a bit of an update.

We only stayed for 1 night but overall it was a lovely stay the hotel and staff are wonderful 👍
3.5
The hotel as a whole is very out dated. The room felt very tired, cracks in walls & tiny old bathroom. Whilst we were staying, both mornings we had people trying to get into our room. Two or three times! Despite us saying no thank you, people were trying our door and attempting to get in without knocking both mornings! Very loud, lots of banging, was quite unsettling. Also charged us £12 PER NIGHT for parking. Ridiculously expensive, cheaper to park on the street. They got us to put our number plate in, acting like it was free. Then last minute oh thats £24 for the parking. Wouldnt recommend or stay again.

Very freindly staff

Brilliant staff and amazing lovely location . Room was a bit hot but otherwise perfect condition .

Was a great stay had a sea view and definitely worth it room was ok bed comfortable and bathroom had a shower
Had food in both restaurants in the hotel Italian upstairs and set menu downstairs which changes daily and we also wemt next door to there other hotel (they have 3 hotels next door to rach other )and had pub food and all was lovely
We used the indoor pool and sauna in next door hotel as thid one only had outdoor pool and that was ok
Staff are all very polite and made us feel welcome
Would definitely stay again
Lovely walk down onto beach and walked into town area

The Sash Windows kept rattling day and night and had to place cardboard in between all the windows to stop making the noise. Pipework above the wardrobe kept making a noise. Didn't feel welcomed by the reception / bar staff and delay on buying on drinks.

We were actually moved to the suncliffe sister hotel next door, but had no issues with this. We were offered free parking as a good will gesture. We had a lovely stay. We had booked a king room and were towards the back of the hotel so lovely and quiet. The room was clean and warm with a nice big bed. Breakfast was buffet style but plenty of food, replenished constantly and something for everyone. The only issue was our stay wasn't long enough, but would definitely stay there again.
3.5
The room had two large holes in the ceiling that had been previously plastered but not painted and you could fit a hand in it. The toilet one was smaller but with signs of water damage.
Definitely not worth the money paid.

Lovely bedroom

The view and nice breakfast

It was clean & the effort is there to make it nice but with poor water pressure, and tired building it needs some TLC.
Putting a lone female at the door closest to stairs aswell isn’t ideal. Very jumpy at every sound.
Windows were banging. I put a wedge in there to stop it so I could sleep.
Phone in room didn’t work.
The spa shuts at 6pm! Not ideal for business travellers .

Not great when you turn up same time as a bus who had a private party 2 nights in a row. We could hear DJ until midnight and all the doors banging, talking in corridors etc meant it was not quiet despite being ‘upgraded’ to second floor. Black mould in shower and toilet not fixed to wall, that could’ve been an accident waiting to happen. Most nearby restaurants are in hotels but great few great eateries about a 10min walk into town. Parking is NOT FREE unless you book with them direct and got stung for 2 days parking that was an additional expense and made this a poor deal. We enquired about spa treatments and were sent to next hotel - they were extremely confused as they sent people to this hotel….bar was shut at 21.30, so don’t expect a nightcap. On the seafront is about the best thing I can say.
3.5
Hotel overall was nice with kind, friendly staff. The main areas were well kept.
However I can see why it is only 3 star as the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade.
The shower wasn't amazing and the hot tap in my bathroom was missing part of it.
For the price though it was an overall comfortable stay and I would visit again. Hopefully the hotel spa will be open then instead of having to use the neighbouring one- it was closed the weekend of my stay
3.5
I felt paying for 2 nights hotel car park at £12 X2 is disgusting when you have paid to stay at the ocean view hotel and no spa or swimming pool available either I will not be recommending this hotel
3.5
Very tired and rundown hotel- lacked atmosphere and comfort, breakfast was inadequate- will not return.
3.5
You have to pay for extra such as parking, walls are thin, no facilities in the hotel all next door. Old building.
3.5
Close to the beach, presentable room.
3.5
We got what we paid for. In need of a facelift and double glazing in our room. Very cold and noisy. Breakfast limited and cold.
3.5
Staff were very friendly
3.5
Poor ventilation and a very hot night with no air con. Would never return to this hotel again. Shower was broken. And scolded my partner so no bathroom facilities. complained by email for refund but never got any where just ignored.
3.5
Like the late check in service. Our room was extremely hot. The heat hot you as you opened the door to enter. This is obviously an existing issue as a fan was already on but did nothing. We had to sleep without a duvet and was still too hot to sleep.
Our sink was dirty with tea stains and there was no milk provided to have a tea or coffee. Rest of the room was pleasant and tidy with a lovely view.
3.5
The hotel was fantastic lovely view but I was a little disappointed because when I booked and looked at the pictures of the rooms it showed a bath I love a bath
