Very clean hotel, comfy beds, helpful staff. We also enjoyed the spa facilities and excellent breakfasts. We've stayed here many times and it is consistently good.

Very good.

The pool was lovely and warm, it was a treat not too flinch as you get in, it was like getting a warm hug 😀 The breakfast is great and I love the gluten free options on offer.

Had to charge room as window wouldn't shut tight so you could hear the noise from the carriage way and that was on the other side of the hotel, swapped rooms the next day and that was ok. Problem resolved quickly and staff very friendly.

Fabulous hotel. Staff are lovely. Beds are comfy. Breakfast was amazing! Looking forward to returning!

Stayed here in business. Middlesbrough does not have a selection of premium hotels unfortunately, the Leovardo backs this up.
Staff are friendly with their service, however, food quality leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are in need of an update, they are very tired with lots of wear and tear. The gym equipment also needs maintenance, the machines are in poor condition too unfortunately.

Staff good, food good, room nice and comfortable however noisiest room ever - was on 8th floor and it was so noisy it was as if there was no glass in the window! Reported to reception but she argued with me I was mistaken? Eh I didn’t sleep because of the noise? Never Again!

The staff were amazing- really friendly.
Breakfast was plentiful and the restaurant meals were also decent and reasonable priced.
The pool was a little busy, but for its size was fine. Would stay again.
Thank you!

Nice staff, good location, good room size. Only two things are not good: the bed is very uncomfortable and the hotel needs a lot of repairs, which is being overlooked at the moment. Otherwise, it is a good hotel.

Nice hotel very nice staff just a shame it’s in Middlesbrough…

3 things that I didn't like were 1. The cold air from the vents in the bar / dining area. 2.Unless you put a tag on the door handle of your bedroom, it was not attended to. 3. No biscuits on our arrival, and due to #2, no milk either ! On the plus side, very nice breakfast and food choices.

Checked in online day before, I arrived to collect room key to find we was sent to a twin room even though I’d booked a double room. The hotel quickly changed this to a double and said this was the only double they had left (bare in mind I’d booked this a month in advance and checked in early online), I’d mentioned it was a stay for my boyfriends birthday and to see the size of the room we had no where to put our cases and had to trip over them to get to the bathroom/leave the room. The tea and coffee was stored at bottom of the wardrobe as there was as no desk space for this. Wardrobe was tiny space in corner to store iron board. So disappointed as I chose this hotel for a more “premium” stay over the likes on premier inn or holiday in which we’re half the price and included breakfast. I know for a fact I’ve had bigger rooms at those hotels for better value for money. Very disappointed as always had a great stay with other Leonardo hotels. Had to ring reception too to find a tv remote as our room didn’t have that either. On checkout we found smashed glass in the secured car park as a car had been broken into, was anxious to hear this news thinking it could have been our car, luckily it wasn’t. The changing room didn’t have any amenities to dry your wet swimwear or any plastic bags available to store them in and the guy on the spa desk was trying to put us off using the pool. I wouldn’t be choosing this hotel again. However breakfast was great lovely staff.

Excellent value for money. You would expect to pay double for the facilities included

great location but not very clean in the bathroom

The hotel room was very clean and had good facilities with tea and coffees, ironing board, safe and tv. Only problem was lack of aircon. The room was hot and humid. We were goven a fan, which helped us to sleep, but surprised such an expansive exec room devoid of aircon.

Room was only a double but was for 2 adults and a child! Requested fridge and wasn’t in the room, health suite horrendous, mould around bathroom

Great location and price for music gig!

Was nice but some crumbs were on the floor and a half eaten cereal bar under the bed. Also room appeared to be conjoined to another room with a door separating us. Which made sleeping very difficult as I could hear next door’s conversations (shouting) all night.

The hotel was ok. A felt the gym and spa area was pretty poor.
Twice my room wasn't serviced and although i mentioned at desk nothing was done about it.

The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.
The room not that clean as I would expect. Loved the room with fridge and snacks. I had no other problems.
The facilities are excellent. Alots of parking available.

The room was average size. The curtains had gaps at each side of tthe window. There was no biscuits on the tea tray. There was a crack in the sink. The bar area was pleasant but the food was overpriced and little choice. The breakfast was very average. Poor quality bacon and sausage. No choice of bread only sliced. It was more like a 3 star than 4 star hotel.

A lovely welcome by receptionist and an upgrade to a superior room was very nice.
Lovely staff at breakfast too, especially Stephen. Food at breakfast was lovely.
Rooms are a bit dated and in need of some decoration but bedding lovely and clean.
Pool nice but spoilt by younger generation who didn’t know how to behave in a spa pool. Parking next to hotel really easy. £6/night. Pay at reception.

Couldn't fault anything really. Good value for money. Clean and well presented rooms. Friendly staff and there was a lovely aroma in the reception area and the lifts. Not sure if it was an air freshener but it was the first thing I noticed when I walked in. Good choice at breakfast and was nice to use the pool and facilities.
All in all a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend.
