No hot water. i ran that shower for at least 15 minutes and got warmish water - setting was set to as far to the hot side as possible. Underground parking was nice, but not great set up to get into or out of.

Property is very old and needs renovation urgently.

The room itself was very comfortable and the bed was great. There was a jacuzzi tub placed right in the middle of the room which was a surprise. The two issues I have are is no restaurant available and the pool closed down. The room price was still very high in spite of not offering these very important ancillary services. Also, there should be a note on the description of the hotel that both of these services are temporarily closed. Other than that the lodge was very comfortable and worthy of returning once the pool and restaurant are open again.

Nice hotel .needs an update at the end of Banff avenue. Free bus to gondola and down town. No bar or restaurants

The hotel was okay but for $450 I would have expected a little bit more in the way of facilities and amenities

I love this place. Even though is a bit further than the main downtown area, but the hotel free transit service really helps a lot and made my trip very convenient and enjoyable! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Low ceilings, dark hallways. Thin, gray towels. No restaurant. Tired, old furnishings. Lots of tour groups in the lobby.

This place needs a complete overhaul, very tired and dated. I dont think this place has seen any update since the 90s. Look elsewhere.

Standard room was terrible. Not possible to open the window. Window facing a small hot tub area, very limited daylight. Air quality was bad in the room, not for anyone with allergy or asthma. Ac working but very loud. Will never stay here again.

Expected at least a little tiny bit of wow for $350/night - close to nothing relevant same quality room and amenities as the last super 8 we stayed in.

Excellent but pricey hotel in Banff. The service at the front desk was excellent, the room was very nice and the hotel was close to many good restaurants. Beautifully landscaped on the outside, too. For those on a long trip, they have 2 washers and dryers on the 3rd floor to clean some of your clothes which is a nice perk.

Great access to main street, parking, and friendly staff.

The Rundlestone is a large, reasonably priced hotel that worked well for our family. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable -- however, the pillows are lumpy and our tub drain was backed up (they fixed it the next day as soon as the maintenance manager came into work). Also, there's coffee in the lobby in the morning but nowhere to go for a quick bite within walking distance (only sit down restaurants). We found a few great coffee shops and bakeries in downtown Banff, a short drive away.

We are very happy with our stay. The location is perfect as it is almost in the middle of the town.

Instead of using a duvet the two queen beds had two sheets with a blanket between them. The restaurant and pool were also closed which was not mentioned until after I booked. There were cherry stems on the floor of the room and it did not look as nice and clean as it did in the photos online.

Dani hosted us at the hotel and she provided excellent information and opportunities for additional benefits by staying at this hotel. eg. Restaurant discounts. Unfortunately the pool was not open for use.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at your establishment.
While I was generally satisfied with my experience, particularly appreciating the cleanliness, safety, and convenient proximity to nearby shops, I did notice one drawback: the lack of dining options, especially for breakfast. However, I was pleased with the complimentary transit pass that was provided.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Check in and room assignment were very poor. Recieved a better room after 20 minutes of protest.

Overall, for the cost compared to most of the properties in Banff, Rundlestone was a great value. The staff was extremely professional and courteous even though we were there 2 hours before check-in time. They had some initial trouble getting the computer to check me in, but were helpful and friendly the whole time. Once completed, they were thorough in providing information about the area, the stay (pool was closed for repairs and they had alternatives we could work from), wifi, etc.
The hotel has a good location, is nicely decorated, and has garage parking available below.
If I have anything negative to say, it's that the rooms are in need of modernizing and redecorating. The wallpaper and carpet are pretty dated, and while there were several outlets in the room, only one was located convenient to one night stand. Adding a USB/Power Outlet block to both nightstands would be a great start. My wife and I both need CPAP machines right now, plus of course it's nice to have your phone by the nightstand if you plan on using an alarm. The front desk did their absolute best to help, trying to find a power strip or extension cord that would help out, but the only ones they could find weren't long enough, so I ended up going into town to find a hardware store to get a longer cord (donated to the hotel when I checked out to hopefully help future guests).
Despite the dated nature of the rooms, we're definitely planning on staying there again.
