We had an excellent 4-night stay at Hotel Italia. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency of the staff - desk, breakfast room, cleaning service. Our room was clean and well-kept. All the facilities worked well: shower temperature and pressure, heating, lights, tea kettle, refrigerator. The beds were standard European firmness. The bedding was cozy. Breakfast was a delicious spread, with lots to choose from. The Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and an easy walk to the historic district. We highly recommend Hotel Italia.

The room is clean but very outdated . No charging facilities for phones etc. The safe does not work. Evert time someone flushes a tiolet we can hear all throu the night. Someone in a showere nearby is heard and quite disturbing. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

We only stayed for one night and the main reason I've booked it was to be close to the railway station. Ones you used a number of escalators to reach the station exit the hotel iz just a couple of min away. The hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the ladies working in the breakfast room were amazing. Breakfast was good. Lots of cakes and sweets, however they could serve few more savoury things like veggie sausages and hushbrawns.
The room was small but bed was comfortable. There was a kettle to make tea/coffee but only small paper cups not very good for hot drinks so my suggestion would be to provide proper cups and saucers. The city centre was about 20 min walk, however the bus stop was just outside the hotel. Busses 130, 131,131R will take you to there. All in all lovely hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

I had a great stay, I thought I had booked the room with a balcony but apparently you need to email them to ask as they only have 2 rooms. They gave me a nice room that was spacious and had a big bathroom. The shampoo wasn’t replenished and there wasn’t conditioner (I found this common in
Italy. You have to ask for more shampoo. The front desk was very helpful with advice and restaurant suggestions! They had some great picks! The hotel is very close to the train station and approx 10 minutes walk to the beginning of the old town. It’s a nice walk and it felt safe, even at night coming back after dinner (just something to consider). The breakfast was great and had a lot of options! I would stay here again, it
was a lovely hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located a little over a mile from the Piazza del Campo - it's an easy walk there, a straight line up the road. And you'll pass tons of restaurants and shops on the way.

Spacious, clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient for train station (with a long escalator ride up/down the cliff). A bit far from the center of the old city, but the city bus is usable and stops very close to the hotel. Not much dining nearby. Nice lounge/bar in hotel, we met other travelers every evening.

My sister and I loved our stay at the Hotel Italia Siena! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very sweet and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! The hotel is very close to the train station and a short walk to the historic centre. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Siena.

Lovely hotel close to train& bus station - just take the 8 escalators up! Great breakfast and easy walk into the old town. We loved experiencing the Palio race! Beautiful town and the Duomo is spectacular.

The AC in my room didn't seem to work properly or maybe that is how it is in Italy since I had the same problem in more than 2 other hotels.

I loved this Hotel. It was really convienient and close to amenities while not beingbeing in the older section. We biked from here 3 days and the staff were so helpful. There is a storage area for the bikes and they were so helpful and even came out of the building to show us where it was.
The breakfast buffet was super. Usually you would get tired of the options. We were there for 5 days, 4 breakfast and the selection never left us without an option. We love food and everything was restaurant quality.
The staff were always in a great mood and so helpful. If we ever return to Siena, i would book the Hotel Italia in a heart beat.

Great hotel just outside the old city. Room was lovely and clean and staff were friendly. Only street parking but we found a spot on a street just behind the hotel. Only about a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance to the old part of the city

Great service, with a bonus of pool access at their sister hotel Garden Hotel down the road.

Breakfast was good.

We loved our stay at Hotel Italia. Our room was quiet and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and it was nice to have breakfast served every morning. Our only negative was the parking situation since the designated spots for the hotel were always taken.

We had a lovely stay! Good location, around 20 minutes to get to the Piazza Il Campo on foot, otherwise buses right outside the hotel are frequent.
But there are plenty of shops and restaurants close for the hotel too.
The hotel is very clean and decorated nicely.
The breakfast was delicious and buffet remained full even when we came down for breakfast close the the cut off.
All staff were so friendly, I would particularly like to mention Patrizia at breakfast and also the lady who checked us in. They had noticed on my partners birthday and brought out a birthday plate at breakfast without being asked which was really thoughtful.
Thank you for having us and we can’t wait to visit again.

Nice room. Clean. A little too far for me to walk to city center sights but the hotel called a taxi for us so no problem. Very close to access rdcalators to the train station. Breakfast was average.

Very nice, friendly staff! The train station and a shopping center are a few minutes walk across street. 20 minutes walk to the main tourist area. The place is very clean. I had a great stay of a few days including a day trip with train ride to Pisa.

I like it because you can walk to downtown.

Location could not be better: literally one block from where the (endless: 8?) escalators bring you up from the train station AND one or two blocks from the Medieval walls of Siena.
We got a room with a deck: WOW! So lovely to sit at the little table with our bottle of wine and enjoy the views.
The staff is outstanding. Every single person we interacted with, from reception to breakfast service to cleaning staff were absolutely lovely, thoughtful, welcoming.
Our room was not big but with the deck? Felt like we had a great space. Bathroom was nice, closet had a safe (always appreciated), a kettle with teas & coffee also in the room. For North American tastes the bed was firm: but pretty typical for Italy.
The breakfast was very good, with lots of variety and a nicely laid out buffet.
All in all an excellent choice for visiting Siena.

this is the nicest hotel we had stayed during this trip. Came with a huge buffet breakfast. The cherry pie was very delicious. Had a full plate of crispy thin sliced bacon. That breakfast at 7am lasted me till dinner time at 6pm! Very good room prices too. Close to Siena train station via a series of escalators in the mall nearby.

We had a wonderful weekend in Siena and stayed at this wonderful hotel.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating, great location, the room was a good size for three people and well-furnished, splendid breakfast, and a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Staying here again next time we’re coming to Siena!

Great location, within walking distance from the train station; up the incredible escalator from the train station, then just down the street.
The room was great, wonderful big bathroom, and a great view out the window. We were on the 3rd floor. The location is perfect for getting into Siena and there are some excellent restaurants and other shops right on the same street as the hotel. The breakfast was terrific and the staff was top-notch.
Highly recommended.
