Excellent hotel, feels like being in part of the French history yet luxurious and classic. Attention to detail was wonderful.
If I had one small niggle it would be that we wished they would of provided a greater choice on the room service menu

Very clean and a great place to stay!

A beautifully restored countryside farm house complex was the perfect place.

The most beautiful property and perfect situation for visiting all the DDay beaches and memorials .

No real criticism other than, in the refurb they could have added some form of aircon. There were no mozzie nets on the windows and it was roasting with them closed. I got bitten to hell. If you're susceptible to bites, then be aware.

Property is not air-conditioned. Despite making three personal requests, including going to the front desk and asking for a fan, we did Receive a fan which made for a terrible night of sleep, unfortunately. major letdown for us was the terrible Wi-Fi speed and service interruptions constantly Unfortunately, we needed the Wi-Fi that evening, but could not use it at all. The real challenge with Expedia Reservations like this one is their app which they claim allows you to message the property however the message feature has not worked on this end of the properties we have booked during the day. They also provide the prop a bizarre and unattended Expedia email and not the guests personal email, which was a huge and vacation ruining experience Ing this day for us. We could not communicate with the property and the property had some restrictions regarding check-in time which were not reflected on The Expedia mobile app used to make the reservation. We are starting to lose our faith slowly in the Expedia and Hotels.com brands as their customer service has practically vanished.

Historic property. Our room was a large suite. Conveniently located near D-day beaches and cities of Normandy.

The property was amazing and exactly as described. The rooms were spacious and it was a wonderful, beautiful, location. Coudn't have been more pleased with the staff and our experience. Will be returning. Thank you!

Wonderful farmhouse renovated with care and great taste, offering beautiful accommodation. Somewhere to remember! A perfect retreat among the Normandie countryside, no noise, no cars, just bird song. A delight! And yet so close to many of the D-Day sites.
The restaurant offers a good choice of dishes, top quality food. You won’t be disappointed.
Staff very attentive and eager to ensure you have a good experience.

Not super welcoming or helpful staff

Lovely historic building - located in a small town, close to Caen, Bayeux (with its famed tapestry), Normandy D-day history sites.
Very clean. Restaurant was great. They have a tennis court and a little farm with VERY cute bunnies. Only thing to note is that they don’t supply conditioner so ladies bring your own or let your hair get frizzy like I did.

Beautiful property, very well maintained within a short drive from many great attractions, smaller cities and D-Day beaches.
The property is charming and cozy. Each room is uniquely laid out. The shower had incredible pressure.
Try the chocolate dessert in the Restaurant. it was mind blowing good.

The staff is amazing. The property is better than advertised and they upgraded our room too. We even extended our stay because we just didn’t want to leave. It’s a great home spot for touring the landing beaches and the gorgeous countryside.

This is our second stay at this beautiful property! We love it for the location and ease of travel from CDG as well as a great home base to explore all the villages and history in the area. The rooms are well done and unique, the staff is wonderful, and the food very good. We will stay here again and definitely recommend!

Fantastic historic property that is 5 stars on all levels. Quiet country setting yet 10 minutes from the Normandy WW2 Beaches. Highly recommend!

It would be nice if the breakfast started earlier for travelers. You need to work on the steps around the entry way. My husband twisted his ankle walking out of the building. Oatmeal At breakfast would be nice

Gorgeous restored farmhouse and property. Dining superb, quiet, spacious and comfortable room.

The property was very quaint and quiet. We were doing a lot of sightseeing and mostly slept comfortably. An AC unit and elevator would have been nice, but receptionist helped carry our luggage. Maxine our server in the restaurant was knowledgeable and informative on the food and wine. Overall I would definitely stay there again

The Hotel was stunning as was the location. Everything you'd expect from a 4 star accommodation. Thr room was tastefully decorated. Unable to walk on the tiled floor in the room until the 4th visit from the cleaners, it had a slight sticky like feel to it, the floor hadn't been washed on the previous 3 visits. We were in a room above the restaurant which closed at 9pm, but chairs were getting scraped accross the floor as late as 11.15pm by staff or patrons. On one of the nights at approx 11.30pm a guest was screaming and giggling with his child about 7 years old in the courtyard which went on for about 20 minutes, no staff intervention. When any accommodation advertises wi-fi it should be faultless, the connection we had from our room was constant buffering, having to reconnect or no service at all. Very poor. TV supposed to have international channels, it had none whatsoever. Had drinks on our first night at a total of 15 euros for only 1 glass of wine and a half pint of lager. The breakfast was continental at a cost of 18 euros per person, extortionately expensive at that price.

Lovely property and staff

From the outside, it looks like an old farmhouse, which I guess it was. But from the inside, it’s lovely and the grounds are lovely. They say you need to check in by 9 PM, but when we got there, they said the front desk was open all night, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the check-in deadline. There is plenty of free parking. The only problem with getting there late is that the Hôtel Restaurant closes rather early.

Lovely hotel that is truly full of charm.
The bed we had was comfortable and well equipped. Though there is no air conditioning, it really wasn’t needed. Even on a warm day when we visited, the open windows allowed sufficient breeze to freshen the room.
The area is near to shops, galleries, and restaurants, but distant enough to be very quiet.
I would recommend Coeur St. Catherine, and I would love the chance to visit again.

We had a lovely stay on this beautiful property. It’s a perfect location for visiting the Normandy Landing Beaches. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the breakfast was delicious; the grounds are beautiful. We had a family room (2 bathrooms) which was spacious and comfortable. It was so quiet. We also really enjoyed the giant chess set. Added bonus: electric car chargers on the property. My only regret is that we didn’t stay there longer. Highly recommend.

I wish I could live there. The tranquility was superb. Mostly, the staff was unsurpassed in friendliness and helpfulness.

This is a superb place to stay, the best hotel we have stayed in in France. Everything was excellent. Dinner and breakfast excellent, staff brilliant. A relaxing atmosphere!

Really part of the environment, what one would expect from the region. Very hospitable, treated like family. Beautiful rooms and property.

Hotel is beautiful and in a great location, comfortable clean room with plenty of character, receptionist friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff, what there was of them were surly, food choices limited, expensive and pretentious, restaurant and bar only open to 9pm. Told restaurant was popular and so needed to book a table, the reality is that they don’t have enough staff to deal with the number of guests staying. Small things, no bottled water or tea in room, only instant coffee, given the standards the hotel Ferme de La Ranconniere advertise, this isn’t acceptable.

Excellent hotel!
Beautiful setting, lovely gardens and patio areas. Close to all the historical sites and D-Day landings of WW11. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay again when in the area
