My husband and I had such a good time. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable with everything you needed. We enjoyed our coffee on the screened porch and the chairs ouside the bungalow. We watched many sunsets on the dock. We sat at the beach and walked around the property. Susan and Ned were so nice.

Cozy bungalow on peaceful property with picturesque views! Clean, well equipped, comfortable. Loved relaxing on the screen porch at sunset and waking up to the scents of sweet lilacs, crisp Maine air and cool salty breezes. Easy drive into Brunswick with its great restaurants and shops and beautiful Bowdoin College. Enjoyed pleasant hiking trails nearby. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the great state of Maine!

The property is beautiful, right on the water in Harpswell. The bungalow is lovely and was a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Maine.

Perfectly cozy cabin with amazing water views. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The washer and dryer is a huge plus! Also having a tub for our little one was really helpful. The property has an amazing landscape to walk and the coastal views are amazing. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. It was about a 25 minute ride to downtown Freeport for really amazing food and shopping. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I stayed at Ned and Susan’s bungalow while making a long weekend out of a work trip. Beautiful, quiet location. Amazing sunsets. Cozy fireplace. Easy drive to Brunswick, Freeport, and Portland. Susan was fantastic checking in to ensure we were all good and she was also flexible with our check in and check out to accommodate our travel. Highly recommend!

Susan and Ned are wonderful, attentive hosts. The bungalow and the nearby property are stunning. Everything was as described, only nicer in person. The bungalow has everything one may need. Susan checked in with us and was always available to answer questions. We enjoyed out time at the property, and would love to return.

My husband and I enjoyed our two-night stay at this clean, open/airy, cozy home. Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed walking to the beach area and the beautiful sunset. If you're seeking a smaller home, natural beauty and time away from crowds, we recommend this place. It's also within easy driving distance to towns like Freeport and other areas of interest.

We were very happy with our stay here, it was remote, but close enough to food in a collage town. It was a retreat that I had more time to be there. Its ocean/bay views and quiet woods made it feel serine. Loved it!

From the minute my friends and I arrived at the bungalow, it completely took our breath away. Not only was the property huge, quiet, and enchanting, the space itself was cozy and inviting—the perfect getaway for a small group like ours. Susan and Ned were lovely and easy to communicate with (we met them briefly during our stay), and their rental could not have been more perfect for a first visit to Maine. We could not recommend it enough (and hope to return next year)!!

This was a lovely stay in a very private bungalo. The second day we explored the property and found all the trails and inlets. We used the bungalo as our getaway to exploring Brunswick and Boothbay. Don't count on alot of restaurants in Harpswell. Al's seafood looked good (cook it yourself) but my husband isn't a seafood eater.

What can I say, it was a great place to spend a relaxing time on the coast of Maine. Susan and Ned were great, the bungalow was excellent. Picturesque setting that was nice and quiet, and we walked to the dock to get fresh lobster. I really don’t know how you could find a better place.

The bungalow is beautiful! It’s well appointed. The timber beam construction is beautiful and the layout is great. It was exceptionally clean and well put together. Everything you need is right there. The spot is idyllic and the walk around the area is beautiful! I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This bungalow as well as the property is beautiful! It was extremely clean, well organized, nicely decorated and cozy. If anyone is interested in cooking during their visit this is your kitchen complete with everything you need. Mattresses were comfy as well as the sofa. Susan and Ned are charming and very interested in making your stay wonderful. We will definitely book with them again next fall.

We rented The Bungalow along with the other 2 properties on Ned and Susan's beautiful piece of Earth, for a small family wedding. The bridal couple stayed here, and enjoyed the privacy.

We had a wonderful time staying in this charming bungalow. It was outfitted with everything we needed. The beds are comfy. Walking around the property was lovely and we were also in a great position to explore Harpswell, Brunswick, and even Bath. Easy drive to Portland airport to collect visitors. The hosts were terrific and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Terrific bungalow, beautifully designed and fully equipped on a gorgeous eight acre waterfront property. Minutes from a fresh lobster place, terrific fine dining at Dolphin Marina and Restaurant, and Pammy’s adorable and delicious Ice Cream Parlor. 25 minutes to busy Freeport, 15 to pretty Brunswick, but set apart and completely peaceful, with a beach, a dock, a cliff, a pond and gorgeous water views aimed at the sunset. Hosts are amazing, they truly anticipated every need we had. Highly recommend! !!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this house , location and owners are. It's peaceful, it's clean and tastefully decorated. It's easy to find and yes there are things o do around the area but why leave this beautiful scenery. Susan is probably the friendliest host that I have rented from. I can't wait to come back next year!!!

I can't say enough positive things about this experience. The bungalow is situated so that when you're sitting in the living room and looking out window you see the cliffs and the bay. Looking out the kitchen window you see the pond. The bungalow was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners, Susan and Ned, were extremely friendly and respectful of us. We definitely plan to go back during a time that everything has re-opened after the winter season.

Beautiful property! The bungalow was clean and comfortable and had all the extras (pans, grill, coffee pot, TV streaming services, shampoo...) you may need. The property was beautiful, and nearby Brunswick and Freeport had lots of great food and shopping. Fantastic hosts, thought of every last detail!

We had never been to Maine and randomly selected Harpswell and it was the best decision ever! Not only was the location perfect to visit different parts of coastal Maine, but the bungalow we stayed in was fabulous! It was clean, cozy and had all the amenities we needed. We met Susan and Ned and they were as nice in person as they were when we communicated prior to our trip. I highly recommend this quaint and quiet bungalow to anyone!

This was our first time to Maine and this property was the perfect introduction! The bungalow sits on a gorgeous property with woods, a pond, a lagoon, a dock and the bay just outside your door. The bungalow itself was spotless, well-appointed and thoughtfully decorated. Susan and Ned were very helpful and friendly. There are lots of wonderful areas to explore within a 10 mile drive. We would highly recommend a stay!

My husband I stayed at this property for 4 days and it was everything we needed, and then some! Not only was the bungalow extremely clean and cozy, but the property itself was just beautiful. We had a lot of fun exploring the snow-covered walking trails and it felt refreshing to be somewhere so peaceful and still. We could see the ocean from the back windows and even caught a couple of stunning sunsets. We also really enjoyed using the wood burning stove. Very easy to drive to Brunswick, Freeport, and Portland from the bungalow. Planning on coming back to this property again in the future for sure and if you're looking for a quiet, tranquil spot (where you can see lots of stars at night!), I would 100% recommend it! Communication with Susan, the property manager, was also so easy and delightful.

Great house

It was exactly what we hoped for: quiet but accessible. Clean, bright, cozy with great views. It is one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever stayed in, they clearly care about their guests so there's some oil, spices, tea/coffee, plenty of plates, mugs, pans, bakeware. Lovely fireplace, walking on the grounds at sunset, comfortable beds. (I'd advise them (they didn't aske me though) to go ahead and finish up that loft space). I will definitely rent it again.

My three friends and I found the space to be just what we needed. We doubled up in the rooms and felt we had enough space to hang out, play games, do yoga, cook, and enough places to explore. Due to the loft style of the space, you could hear everything, luckily, we are all early birds.
The property is beautiful and Susan was very helpful, even greeting us when we arrived. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and was well stocked. Directions and expectations were clear and her guest book was thorough. I'd stay here again if venturing into the area or suggesting the space to a friend.

The bungalow was clean, cozy, and a true home away from home. The view and the trails are the best added bonus. I didn't realize how close it was to the ocean! You can wake up and see the water out of your windows. You can also hear the brook at all times. Super relaxing! The owners always messaged me back quickly and were of huge help. They shoveled us out because our car got stuck in the snow! It was so much appreciated! We can't wait to come back!

Had a girls shopping weekend in Freeport. Great place to stay, well stocked, beautiful and charming. Great communication. Will be back for sure!

House was cozy and warm. Property was fun to explore. Will say one bedroom is lofted/open to the common areas and the other bed room isn’t well sound proofed so just be aware for different bed times/wake up times that normal living noises can disturb others.

The property is amazing. The host was very friendly. The kitchen was well provisioned. I can’t rate this place highly enough!

This location cannot be beat! It’s private and quiet and has access to a beach and a dock. The bungalow has plenty of windows to watch the sunset over the water every night. The bungalow
has to be the coziest rental we’ve ever stayed in- Firewood was stocked, the couch was very comfortable, every amenity you could need!

The most amazing and memorable experience. My children played on the property and we enjoyed the very well-stocked cozy cabin. Heat, hot water, extra blankets and pillows, plus everything you need to explore the property. Outstanding!
