This property was in the perfect beach location, directly across from the safe swim area. The woman working at reception was very helpful, kind, nice. The outside of the building could use a little updating. The decor is basic, but clean. We would recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although basic, the apartment was very comfortable, spacious and well kept with a fantastic view of the ocean. Helpful, friendly managers and excellent location. We enjoyed falling asleep and waking to the sound of the waves and would certainly choose to stay here again.

Great location with views of the beach. Modern furniture and very comfortable bed. Great place to stay for a couple with kitchen facilities. Lift was very handy as stayed on the 4th floor. Would definitely stay again.

The location of Marlin Waters is fantastic....right in the middle of everything and directly opposite the netted swimming area. The Surf Club is right next door and a host of restaurants are within short walking distance. Our apartment was spacious, modern and clean and had a great view of the water. Rhonda was wonderful and so helpful after our flight was cancelled and we had to rush off to catch an earlier flight. In our haste to leave, we left our car keys behind which Rhonda kindly found and mailed back. We would definitely recommend a stay at Marlin Waters!

Fantastic location loved the fact that it is a stones throw to the beach. Our apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. The pool area could do with an update, very hot during the middle of the day, could do with some umbrellas for shade.

Location was perfect because its directly in front of the beach, walking distance to restaurants, beautiful beach view however the apartment we were given really needed some upgrading. The reason I booked this hotel was because of what I saw in the pictures advertised which looked very modern and nice. The apartment came with a dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine, very spacious with all the amenities. Chris and Rhonda were very friendly and helpful.

Bookings for activities you wish to do during your stay can be organised with the reception.Walking distance to plenty of eating venues and right next door to the SLSC. The place is not big, it is three levels high with 36 apartments, all overlooking the main thoroughfare and the beach. Its not noisy though. Our apartment had everything we needed for our stay, you can cook for yourself if you wish to stay in or if youd rather head out to eat theres plenty to choose from.Stayed for 9nights, loved it. Very friendly hosts, Rhonda and Chris.

This is an older style block and it is still being updated, but every room looks on to the beach, the managers are a great asset and the elevator is a bonus for those who can not manage stairs. What it misses on finesse, it makes up for in the outlook of every apartment over the beach, the generous balconies, free Wifi and the price. The managers genuinely care about every visitor and seem to take special care of older visitors. It is next to the Surf Club but no noise issues and I was there over a weekend when it was its busiest. In fact, you can pop next door for a cheap meal or to buy your alcohol or a family meal. Even though it is not as glamorous as some other resorts, I would stay here again.

Arrived to friendly and relaxing staff member who helped take the luggage up to our room with us. The room was spotless and easy to keep that way. Showed us the room and all the amenities along with how every thing worked. Had excellent view of the beach (10 metres away). Location was better than we had planned.

Was advertised as 4 star which I think was over rated. Apartment was dated with several things that needed attention regarding maintenance. Sliding doors from bedroom to bathroom/laundry did not work, screen door to balcony not working. Taps leaked. Lounge was quite old and you sunk down in the cushions if you sat for very long and I am a lightweight. Sitting on balcony when apartment above swept their balcony and all leaf litter fell down on us. As far as location is concerned it was perfect and that made our holiday very enjoyable. If you are only looking for a base and intend spending alot of time sightseeing I would recommend Marlin Waters but if you wish to laze by a pool and want a bit of luxury go elsewhere. Overall it served our purpose but would choose more carefully next time when choosing from pictures on the net which can be very deceiving. Loved Palm Cove though.
