Amazing views from our room and comfortable bed, but it was two singles turned into a double so mind the dip! The service at the restaurant was cold and we were ignored at points, for pretty overpriced food. Beach service staff were great!

Breakfast could be better. Nice beach with sun beds. 7 or 8 ok restaurants within 10 minute walk.

Staff at hotel were very unhelpful and mean. The manager couldn't even show up to talk to us when we requested to see him/her as we had issues with our booking. I have stayed at many hotels and this is by far the worst. Go elsewhere if you want to enjoy the island. There far more better places. It is called a resort but it is a tiny place with outdated rooms and facilities with staff who care more about their profit margins rather than the customer.

We booked a room with ocean/beach view and was given the worst room available, small and view of the parking lot. They said all rooms were filled. Will never stay there again, very disappointed with front desk, said nkthing could be done even thought we paid for ocean view which was clearly noted on our reservation. Hotel did nothing to make it better other than free breakfast which was terrible. Yippee.

People very cold with us

Nice Resort, we had a room with private garden.
Just 5 min with Taxi to Port of Poros with manu nice restaurants.

The staff was so rude and disinterested, especially at the front desk, but also at the beach and restaurant, that they ruined whatever good there might have been. Also the woman at the front desk tried to rip me off upon check out. When I caught her she said it was her mistake and changed the bill to the correct (lesser amount) but failed to offer an apology, Upon check in they failed to welcome me or explain anything about the hotel, and upon check out they failed to say thank you or wish me goodbye. Just totally rude and horrible people. The room was clean but small and aging and the outside "garden" on my patio was cheap astro turf and plastic vines. Not even one small bottle of water in the room. Totally lame,

This resort is in a great location! The views were stunning and the water was gorgeous. The room was mostly good! The bathtub only had a shower attachment and the curtain covered about 1/2 of the tub, which was a little tricky. We chose to eat at the hotel restaurant for all our meals since we wanted to relax. The food was subpar, but the town looked like it had some good options for dining! We gave an 3 for cleanliness since there were dirty dishes left in the hallway for several days that were pretty gross. The room was clean though. Overall this stay was worth the money for its great location! Would recommend!

Incredible view from the room.

Great hotel with home like atmosphere

This is a great property. It's perfectly located, right on the beach with clear blue water. It's also within walking distance to several restaurants. The pool is great and there's even a play area for kids. The food, staff and service are also fantastic! It's only about 5 euros to Uber or take a taxi to or from the port which also has plenty of restaurants.

The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions.

Beautiful beachfront hotel, 30-40 minute walk from the Poros Harbor where the fast ferries from Pireous Port stop on their way to Hydra and other islands. This hotel has nice accommodations, a very attentive staff, and you are steps away from a beautiful beach w/ clear water and excellent swimming conditions.

Really nice place , location and the hotel has amazing views! Friendly and in a good price. Worth the stay.

Don't like the fact that need to walk across the road to access the beach. Luckily road not very busy, but still need to watch as there are curves in Street which restricts vision. More info on pool, beach, room service, towels etc could be given at the beginning

Awesome property
Excellent breakfast dinner
Very Clean
Helga our server was the best!

The service was excellent, the beds were comfortable, the room was extremely clean, and....the view from the room was spectacular.

Hotel is very outdated, you can hear people talking in the other rooms, we had the do not disturb light outside our room but anyhow the made knocked the door every day.
Managing the water temperature in the shower requires a PhD in Physics, it’s just impossible to get the right water temperature it’s either burning hot or iced cold. Location is good, beach in right across the street. Staff is polite and will try to help. There are no iron or ironing board on the rooms, just a shared one in the lobby which I had to wait 2 hours to use.
4.0
This is a fairly kept older hotel near a nice beach, the rooms are a little small and toilet is small but everything works ok.
The receptionist did not know the details of our reservation until we showed it to her on a phone. The service is very good and the views all over the property are good. There are no screens on the sliding doors to the veranda so you must keep ac on for comfort.
Overall the property is ok for the price.

We really enjoyed everything about Poros and our Hotel

Great hotel near nice beach which we will return to! Only downside was the sun beds on beach were not available yet in early season. Food in restaurant was amazing.

It was quiet and peaceful! The man who served me dinner was so lovely and helpful. But the lady serving breakfast and lunch kept insisting on a tip. I thought it was rude and ruined the stay I had.

This is one of those little gem hotels... great facilities in a fantastic seaside location with lovely friendly staff and all at a very reasonable price. I mean... do you need to ask why I've stayed here 5 or 6 times over the last few years?
5.0
Very nice beach front location, fantastic view form the room with balcony overlooking the stunning bay. 20 minutes walk into the town centre or 4 Euro taxi ride. To the port and main town. The rooms could do with a slight refurbishment in places, however for the price we paid, it’s great value.
The Lady called Cristina at reception was very helpful, and the bar staff are good. We didn’t try food at the hotel, but the drinks are very reasonable.
All in all a very pleasant stay

Great hotel near Askeli. It’s about 1.5 mile walk from the port. We didn’t know there was a taxi so we walked. It was hot and a bit uncomfortable. So highly recommend you get a taxi (4€) the hotel has beach access but fills fast. There a a few beaches within walking distance. Morning breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable

The area is beautiful and the view from the hotel amazing.
Slightly understaffed the remaining did their best.
They downgraded our room without telling us but upon request we were reimbursed. The other room was still with the same view but smaller.
The pool is outdated but not really necessary due to the beautiful beach with free sunbeds when you stay at the hotel.
There was a Greek wedding while we stayed and while the entertainment was nice, the noise kind of reduced our joy of the balcony on our last night as we couldn't hear eachother.
I would still recommend the hotel and definitely come back, just try to avoid weekends in juli.

I liked the location, cleanliness and helpful staff. The beach area in right across the road and very nice with good service.
However, breakfast was too limited in fresh fruit and did not vary at all over our 3 day stay.
Overall, we would return again.

Excellent staff and location. Only complaint was lack of healthy breakfast options.

My friend and I had a lovely time at New Aegli. Even though we didn't have a very good view, the room was comfortable and clean. The blinds could do with some updating.
We enjoyed breakfast every day, made the most of the loungers on the beach and had dinner in the restaurant twice which was very good.
The staff were all helpful and friendly at all times. We would most definetely stay at New Aegli Resort again

Lovely hotel in a magnificent setting with spectacular views over the blue Aegean Sea.

Room was very small for 4
People but can’t doubt anything else

Great value hotel . Rooms are dated but very clean - sea view rooms have fantastic little terraces and are the perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach or early morning . Bar terraces are the best position on the island . Beach just across the street - small and lots of stones but good position with restaurants and beach beds all on hand.
I would always choose this hotel for a great stay in poros.
2.0
The hotel was an overall ok, nothing more nothing less. The breakfast got boring the second day and during our whole stay there was barely any variation to it.
The restaurants food was good, the waiters did forget a couple of thing we order a couple of times.
Really close to the beach but where the hotels sundbeds are the beach is rocky and the kids couldn’t play there. Recommend you bring your own umbrella so you can go and sit where there aren’t rocks.
Pool was ok, the lady working at the cafe there was supernice (Rita).
The room we got as a family of four was supersmall and we barely could fit our luggage to in the room. They had to take out a bed to for us to fit (the kids had to sleep together), and they didn’t have any bigger rooms for us for our whole stay. Balcony was big and the view was great.
Overall OK but nothing WOW at all.

Not a bad place. Fantastic view. Great beach. Ok pool area.
The 4 stars are fading. Bedframe was taped to fix a crack. Curtains were broken.
Staff is friendly. It is located about 15min walk from the center (or 3 EUR by taxi).
Good enough, but it is a 3 star, not a 4 star.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was nice, comfortable and with nice facilities ( incl. pool). The view from the front side is magnificent. I would recommend it for either business or family stays.

Beautiful, clean and friendly resort

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was spotless. The room was spacious and the bed huge and comfy.
Lovely beach front on a blue flag beach with comfortable sun beds.
Shame it closed early as we would have loved to stay longer. Excellent value for money and we would happily come back here again.

Friendly staff, beautiful view overlooking the bay, breakfast ok. I wouldn‘t say 4 stars, but still a nice hotel

Great location great value. Pool looked inviting although didn't get to try it. Beach below and views were beautiful.
