The hotel is near the main street and about 10 minutes walk to the dock.
Our room (I think it was room 160) had a drainage issue in the shower stall.

Hotel could be good but it needs some tlc!
Rooms are pretty but rundown
Air conditioner does not produce as it should
Cleanliness when one check in could have been better
Location is decent, about 7 minute walk to San Marco and ferry docks

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The rooms were always clean and had a good size. We had air conditioning in the room. The location is perfect between San Marco and Rialto. Very good service. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a fabulous location - very close to St Marks Square. The room was stylish and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is in a quiet, narrow street and has so much character. Our stay included a complimentary breakfast, with plenty of food options. This hotel offers great value for money and we would like to return.

What a gem of a place. 2 minutes walk to San Marco one direction and a 2 minute walk to Rialto in the other. Yes, the room was on the small side but we got unpacked and there was space for everything. Powerful hot shower! Ask at reception to borrow a hairdryer. Much quicker than the room one. Free safe with a returnable deposit. Free umbrellas too. Breakfast was huge. Loads of choice for a continental breakfast including hot bacon and eggs. Ask for cappuccino and they will make you one. Powerful air con too. In room 124 overlooking the front. Very quiet and no noise at alll. Ask at restaurant door for ice if you need it and they will oblige. I will definitely stay here again and I am fussy!!!

Very friendly & helpful staff. Great location in between St Marks Sq & the Rialto Bridge. Very charming breakfast area and extensive offering of fresh pastry each morning. Cappuccini made each morning if you wanted or plenty of coffee Tea & juices.
Good restaurants & shopping nearby.
The restaurant right next door was very good especially if you had a long day out.
The only suggestion is get a delux room. We were 2 single ladies in a standard room & it was a bit tight. The bathroom was spacious & mini fridge came in handy.

We just finished a 4 night stay at Hotel Canaletto. It was just perfect for what we needed. Very close to water transportation so not a long walk with suitcases, quiet street and yet just a few steps to all you want to see in Venice. The staff were all friendly and helpful and there was a very good breakfast to get your day started. We were especially pleased with the spacious room assigned to us. Thank you to all the people at Hotel Canaletto for making our stay in Venice so wonderful.

Very original style, in keeping with Venice, enjoyed very much

Room was good. Venice is a difficult place to get to/from the airport and cruise terminal. They could not help us very much with a solution. Getting bags from cruise ship/water taxi/ to hotel was an expensive nightmare. We did try to laugh our way through it! Try to travel with carry-on only to Venice. Great place!

It was a lovely hotel, our room was fantastic, staff were great and breakfast was nice.

Great hotel, friendly staff and excellent location. Breakfast was good, decent choice for a continental style. Room was a good size, very clean and even had a balcony! Maid gave us fresh soap every day which wasnt necessary and a bit of a waste. Overall great stay and recommended

It was just okay. Small clean room. Satisfactory for the one night I was staying. Finding the actual place was a doozy but once I found it the guy at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful. The bathroom was a bit unexpected. It was a all in one kind of situation that I did not expect. The toilet, shower and bathroom sink just in one only separated by a shower curtain is the best way I can describe it

The property is well situated within San Marco and within walking distance of the Rialto Bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
6.0
The property is very basic, good if you want something close to the attractions and at a walkable distance. The room is very basic, no kettle for your coffee or a mini bar. Bathroom could be a bit bigger. The mattress needs changing as you can see a whole when you wake up from where you’ve slept. No extra bedding/pillows. The shower was very tight and would be a struggle if your on the heavy side. Overall it’s an average property if your going to be out for the day and just want to crash at night.

Location of the hotel was great, within a 7 minute walk from St Mark's and the Rialto bridge. We were in a loft unit overlooking a canal. The room was decorated beautifully and was very quiet. We were a group of 4 adults, there was a single bed on the main floor, a queensize bed in the loft, and they added a single cot in the loft beside the queen bed. All the beds, including the cot were very comfortable. The breakfast area was small, but did not feel crowded and had an assortment of meat, cheeses, breads, pastries and bacon and eggs. We were very pleased with the location of the hotel, and the staff, who were courteous and friendly. Marco especially went out of his way to help us. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were a family of 4 (two teens) travelling to Venice for the first time. The hotel had a charm to it. The rooms were clean, great water pressure in the shower. Shower was only designed for very short people!☺️ well located to all major attractions and easy to find once you have gotten there the first time.

A wonderful hotel and great location. The staff was very friendly, Igor went out of his way to help out with any questions we had. Breakfast was also excellent with many options and freshly made cappuccinos. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Outside felt very Venice with a couple restaurants around, and we ate at both which were amazing. As you walk inside you feel Venice throughout. Then we hit the room and Wow very beautiful, surprised with the bathtub that was visible to the room with a view from the room to the canal and a balcony.

the hotel is excellent! the room we stayed in is brand new. I was impressed with the quality of everything.the hotel is three minutes from st marc square and four minutes from the rialto bridge.the location is excellent. Close to everything. The break fast is very good. but not many options.if you are going to stay two or three nights it is perfect because you can diversify the breakfast. but I advise everyone to go without breakfast and try the various cafes that exist in Venice.I would definitely stay at this hotel again. it is excellent hotel. I loved everything!!!!!!

This was an amazing choice! The hotel is just off the busy area. Super clean establishment. Amazing customer service and the breakfast was great ! I read some reviews about the issue with the location and the size of the room. AND LOOK! This is Venice. All the buildings are small and compact. And nearly all the hotels I seen where in small alleys. the locations was perfect. quiet with moderate amount of foot traffic. The room was small yes compared to commercial hotels in the States but it was very clean and the bathroom was pretty roomy with great water pressure. Also it had two big windows for fresh air. I would definitely stay here again.
