Our entire group contracted E.coli. we spent more time in the bathroom than the beach. The servers at the buffett rately got water to the table before we finished eating. Sometimes I got up to get it myself from their tray. the beds were super hard, and the air conditioning would not go below 77 degrees fahrenheit. This was the worst vacation to the DR we have ever had.

This is the worst hotel I have even been to ! The rooms smell like mold the air conditioner don’t work. My patio door didn’t lock The food was inedible and when we went to the snack bar the food was covered with flies and my wife got hurt when she sat in a chair that had a screw sticking out of the missing armrest We checked out immediately due to the poor quality and the hotel refused to refund us Stay away from this hotel at best it is a 2 - 3 star hotel and certainly not a 5 star. !

Everything was absolutely perfect! I went there on a solo trip for some relaxation and that is exactly what I got and more. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Many activities , great live entertainment. The beach and the spa was breathtaking. Shout out to Roman and Monte for making every moment worth it. Special shout out to Alexander at guest services-he understood the assignment and made sure he locked me in with everything that I needed and wanted. If you’re looking to chill and relax but still have a great time this is the spot. I will be returning. Thanks DR

The property was okay, one concern is the doors did not have a secondary lock...although the staff was very attentative, they continued to walk into the room....making time to relax in the room a bit uncomfortable as you did not know if they were going to walk in.

i stay for 12 days and the air conditioner in the room never work the proper way. i report the problem every day and never get the issue solve. i spoke with differents guests and they have the same problem with the A/C, almost everyone that i spoke about it has the same issue and the staff never gave us an option.

Beautiful property and facilities, good was to a poor standard, a lot of food was recycled and not fresh, my husband caught food poisoning after eating at the buffet restaurant. Overall disappointing experience. We also had issues with the safe in our room, we had to call maintenance twice as well as the card lock on the door in our room which stopped working. My iPad was stolen from the room.

It really nice has room for improvements but i did have a good time .the resort stops all activities at 11 so you have to take a shuttle if you still want to have fun after 11 the staff was nice they did have entertainment though out the day n night it is a adult resort so i was really thinking ot would have more to do but i still had a good time the foods at buffet every night was something different the food at rio was good there is a few other restaurants to eat at also you can always go to the other resorts thats princess and eat or just go hang out we met so many people from everywhere the beach is beautiful

Worst property ever stayed at. Had so many problems and after contacting staff first they were rude and then they said they will work on problems like noise outside room, drill machine noice early morning, shower drain not working, poor cleanless, my bag chains were open when I came to room, stains on bedsheets and towels. I asked to move out one night early and they said no refund provided and asked me to contact Expedia. And what Expedia did is nothing, instead I was not able to check out and ended up paying for additional night at this resort worst. Expedia didn’t help me even in getting any refund. Hotel and Expedia both just ignore their customers after they have received money in their pocket. Worst hotel/resort ever experienced. Not worth.

On my 8th visit here as a solo guest. The resort is situated on the beach with plenty of sun Ed’s for everyone. It’s a relatively small resort of about 250 rooms so you can walk one end to the other in 5 minutes. All the staff are friendly and helpful, must mention Alfredo the buffet waiter who looked after me well, and Felix the bartender at the Mare Nostrum! The resort is kept safe by security patrols 24/7. The gardens are well maintained, the resort is very clean throughout, the food is reasonably varied and something for everyone along with a 24 hour snack bar. There’s a good animation team keeping things going throughout the day and evening, though if you prefer to chill on the beach, that’s fine too. The rooms are rather dated now, but how long do you spend in them anyway?? They’re spacious, well soundproofed and with a hot tub inside and a balcony or terrace along with a fridge with drinks and a tv. I found the super king size bed firm but comfortable and have always slept well there.
