An amazing stay. This hotel is a little gem, on the edge of Cortina, and a 10 minute walk into the town centre. This meant the hotel itself was nice and quiet in the evening and after a days walking, the sofa in the lounge was the comfiest I have sat on.
Breakfast was buffet style and with plenty of choice and regular top ups of coffee.
As with all small family run hotels, it is the staff that makes them and this is certainly true in this case. We will definitely return.

What a beautiful hotel with stunning views. Easy 10 minute walk into the main town and a quick drive to most of the cable cars. Only downside is there was no air conditioning in our room so we had to sleep with the windows open - there is lots of construction in the area due to the upcoming olympics in 2026 so it was quiet loud in the mornings but that didn’t ruin our stay! The staff were lovely and the breakfast was nice. The bathroom had been recently updated and had the best hotel blow dryer I have ever used.

This place is adorable! We had such a cozy room. We wish we had spent more time there. The "feel" of this place was so appropriate for the region. The staff was very nice-- gave us advise of places to stop, restaurants to eat. There's such a romantic restaurant on the property! Like a dream! Other vacationers told us that their spa was fantastic, although we didn't have a chance to indulge. Hotel Columbia was just a few minutes from the gondola with the most amazing views!!! There's a restaurant mere yards from the hotel which was an enjoyable experience. I recommend this hotel.

Management disregarded COVID restrictions. Do not make a reservation at this hotel.

Clean and comfortable, nice breakfast. It is located outside the city center, you have to walk 800 mts each way. No sidewalks on the hotel street.

Located 15 minutes walk from main town centre but only 100 metres down the road to a ski shuttle bus, you could also walk to the Cortina- Col Druscie lift in about 20 minuets if you wanted
Nice rooms with little balcony
Big bathrooms but shower screen over bath was very annoying as it folded about 5 times and didn't really fit well
Nice spa area with spa pool, sauna and steam room and relaxing loungers that looked up to the mountains plenty spacious enough for two but a bit cramped for 4 that we had. Comfortable beds
Good breakfast selection
Quiet area

We enjoyed staying here after a long trek in the Dolomites. Breakfast was amazing. The staff spoke English and were very helpful for finding excellent eats and things to do.

My wife and I stayed overnight. Columbia was a very good choice with a clean, comfortable room with a view. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice rooms and very good Breakfast. 7 minutes walk to downtown Cortina. It is the second time we choose Hotel Columbia which I consider offer the best deal in Cortina for tourists. Now they also have a SPA, which we did not try since weather was so fantastic ☀️

We enjoyed our stay at the Columbia Hotel. The room had a charming, mountain chalet feel. There was plenty of closet and drawer space for the two of us. I enjoyed being able to make myself a soft-boiled egg and toast for breakfast to go with the usual array of cold meats and cheeses, sweet treats, croissants, cereal, and yogurt. It was a little difficult to walk to the center of town because there is no real sidewalk, but it was doable, even at night. Marcel, the daytime desk attendant, was very helpful and delightful and spoke excellent English. The WiFi was trouble free. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast with incredible pastries. Friendly, helpful staff. Little bit of a walk on a busy street to town but not bad.

We enjoyed our stay in Cortina at the Columbia hotel, situated at 10 min walk from the town centre, with beautiful views of the surrounding Dolomites mountains.
2.5
Stayed several nights - clean and exceptionally roomy room with a balcony was selected. The price was most reasonable for this quality of a hotel. Great free parking - good breakfast included and a very short distance into the "walking Strasse" center of the town of Cortina. Wonderful location to stay for several days and perform "day trips" for sight-seeing and mountain village visits to include trail walks for all ages.

One of the best hotels I have ever been in, if not the best.

Great stay. Warm welcome and upgraded room. Spotlessly clean, big and quiet, the room could not be faulted. Balcony with fantastic view. Great breakfast too.
Only thing I thought odd was notice on door saying use of in room jacuzzi / jet bath was not included in the rate. How much can it possibly cost to run?!

The owners were fabulous especially Monica and Alex.

In a smaller hotel, one sometimes has to seek a person for their inquiries; not so here. The desk clerk or owner always greet you (coming and going) to make themselves available to answer your questions (in whatever language you wish), point you to the best places to eat, side trips, weather reports, etc. They even kept our bags for us a night while we hiked into a rifugio in the mountains to stay.
The clientelle consists of individual travellers (i.e. not bus groups) and very sedate (but not old).. Tyrolean rooms, great breakfast, on-site parking, multinational guests all added to our 4 nights there. There was a small charge for fast wireless internet; no charge for phone card access numbers.
